Well me and two friends took some pics yesterday, but im waiting for one of them to send them to me....then Ill post them. We had the redline, a 97 3k base, and a 94 talon esi in our little photoshoot lol. And last night the same thing happened as with the gtp...except this time it was a 2.2 Ion. The funny thing was it was the exact same part of the same street lol. People dont know how to start a race here though, they wait until almost the end of the street then floor it out of nowhere, but hey at least i let him know what i was made of lol

[quote=SL3000gt]When I get my new car, I'll race you Torched.....seriously.

I know....we have talked about this. So i discovered my car has an aftermarket intake and part of a custom exhaust lol. The dumbass that had it before me had a pipe coming out the side apparently and it melted some of the black molding below the sideskirt and i guess it sounded and looked like crap. So the dealership owner (small used car dealer) bought some pipe and bent it himself and put a much smaller than stock muffler on it. So it still has the cat on it but after that its kinda custom made. Its just a little louder than stock, but the supercharger screams noticeably louder than the stock cobalt i drove

EDIT: And apparently my friend's computer got a virus, so they have to clear that up before he can send the pics....but when they come i will post them

also i have a 92 stealth tt, it was built in Nov 91, thats 2 or 4 bolt?

Wooo, just got back from New Jersey. Had a fucking blast this weekend. It was bitter sweet though. Its the last party ever at that house, and probly the last time we will get the entire crew together. :(

I kinda glanced thru the unread posts here and the talk of the noobs is exactly why TANP was started on 3si. In reality none of us are any different now than before the avatars but people need to be called out for being stupid or making stupid posts. Whats really funny though is I got a PM about my response in mr skyline swap thread starter's thread.

Whatever, people can be pissed off at how I act and who I am, but it really does work.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. You cant fuck with the me and my TGI Friday crew.:p We hit TGI Fridays up Saturday night with around 22 people. We had about 5 tables seating 4 to 3 and 5 to 2. Well my table had 4 people and our bill was $120. Only 3 of us 4 were drinking too. We easily crushed any of the other tables in final tab.

Fun times.

WooooHooo I skipped my Bio homework and completed my Snake Eyes mod part duex! :runaround: :naughty: :sunglasse :smokin:

Origionally i had it like the vr4stealth.com guy showed, using a turn signal bulb, but they seemed too hot and the light was concentrated in the center of the lens, :disappoin

So I came up with my own design:p , wired in 8 led's into each lens, 4 wired to the parking lights and 4 wired to the turn signal. this way i get snake eyes just by turning the parking lights on, also they blink with the turn signals or hazards. with the led's there is no heat and the light is less concentrated than with the vr4stealth method.:p

Very easy though a little time consuming, took me about 2 hours but i had a couple phone calls. I took some more pics and will try to post, its just a pain with this slow arse internett connection i have :banghead:

EDIT: see my "Snake Eyes" thread.

"we just done did finish up them there wheels, that paint will shine till the cows come home."

it had like 5mins left on the auction. but it made me laugh so hard. fyi: the wheels were painted red.

hey everybody, its been a while since posted. i try to keep up with things on AF, and regional section of 3SI, but there's only so much time in the day. i live with 6 other people now, so there's not much "me" time when i get to chill alone and cruise t3h intArw3bs.

but New Orleans is a great city. i went to the Voodoo Music Festival last weekend and saw some great music. Rage, Wilco, Black Crowes just to name a few. the weather here has been perfect (highs of 70s) for the past few weeks, and so i spend more time outdoors.

i've put my car on hold right now b/c my income is very little. and even with the jobs i do on co-workers cars, its hard to charge them for the job when they make just as little as i do. but usually they'll pay for dinner and its all good. i don't make much of anything, but living with 6 other people and 7 next door has its advantages for the bills adn food costs.

honestly, my wages qualify me for Food Stamps, but its a real moral dilemma as to the question: "Do i really NEED Food Stamps?" but it all is working out fine.

i enjoy doing my part to rebuild New Orleans through Habitat for Humanity. there's just something rewarding, refreshing, relaxing, and stress relieving about swinging a hammer to build a house for a family in order to stick it to the man that sits by idly and does nothing b/c they all think someone else will step up. but truly, there are many corporations and big businesses that contribute funds and labor to rebuilding New Orleans. in fact, i know many people are stepping up to help those plagued by wild fires in California.

i find working in the non-profit sector rewarding in and of itself. but also its refreshing b/c everyone seems to avoid the unneccesary crap in life. most people are of sound and like mind, and although materialism is not rampant, those that do appreciate toys (cars, video games, fashion, tools, etc) at least have learned that there is more to life than simply that. i really enjoy the emphasis on community, sharing, and socializing. i believe the best way to rebuild after any natural disaster is through building up community. and community at its most basic form is the family, or one could even argue a couple.

----

anywho, my idle oil pressure has been dipping. tho the stock gauge is crap, i still feel that the oil pump is the problem. i'm gonna get an aftermarket oil gauge, measure and evaluate the status of my oil pressure, then probably replace the oil pump. at which time i'll go ahead and finally install my Fidanza adjustable cam gears.

blink, i miss playing video games. i played halo3 a bit when it came out on my friend's 360, but then it broke with the red lights of death. i may have a way to get access to a welder (probably MIG) and have some fun! there's a huge warehouse across the street from me that is just waiting to be revamped through all means of welding, cutting, gutting and building, creating, and organizing.

hope all is well on your side of the computer.

i also got my lisence back today. god i hope that's it. i have 10pts on my lisence, i need to go 3yrs without a ticket so i can start clearing that up a bit. hence the reason i wanna race, i have no fear of speed, i do it on a track, and get it outta my system.

my way to wrk last night was funny as hell. some kid in his civic hatch went flying past me at a stop light. i turned on red(very much leagle) and in first gear caught up to him...about 45mph. then going down the local highway(state rt31) there's a passing zone, i went to go past him and the car infront of him(both doing 40 in a 50). i pull around, and as i'm next to him, he pulls out to pass...i'm like wtf is this dumbass doing. i end up finishing the pass on the shuolder of the road, pull back in line, and that's it. then he goes blowing by me(i put the car in 5th to try to conserve gas) and i just let him go. wen i got to work, he pulls around and tries to say his honda civic beat my POS. i was like yea u beat me alright. just b/c i really dont like dealing with the local ricers, they have an attitude that i hope one day gets them into some deep shit.

funny part my neighbor(the cop) pulls in right next to him and asks him wat he was doing. i just laughed and went inside to work.

i then walked out 2hrs later for break, and he's standing next to my car(actually leaning on it) and i asked wtf are u doing. he said i'm here to race, i said ur here to get ur ass handed to u if u dont move away from my car. he didnt move. i was like, u know that cop from b4 is my neighbor, one call and he comes back down here. he still didnt move, i just simply went over to him, and said move. no movement, i was like u really want to race dont u. he said yup, i wanna beat this POS dodge. i laughed and said ok. i got in the car, and called my neighbors cell(the cops), told him where to go. get to the traffic light, and the kid goes like 70 in a 35. i went up to 40 and that was it. all i saw was the nice red and blue lights flying by me at 90 in an unmarked dodge charger cop car. ah wat a night

vectorspecialist
11-08-2007, 01:13 PM
mine isnt as clean as poly's...it has blemishes, that i'm starting to work out of it. but yea it's a true story. i dont fall victim to ricers or street racing. i've had 8 friends die from street racing, i dont need to b another statistic to up the insurance on young males.

yea seriously my neighbor is a cop...use to have a pic of his charger on my myspace. now he has 3 charger cop cars. one unmarked white, one black, and one black&white. wrost part he wont give me a card...wtf.

i dont believe in fighting, honostly. i'm all of 5'10, not small, but i'm not really muscular either. i'm kinda like a nerd but a cool one. i wear glasses(sometimes contacts). i wouldnt have done much to him...maybe just grabbed the baseball bat outta the hatch, and called it a night. but then i'd have red blood all over my nice clean white stealth...that's a no no. funny part, i recognized him, i think i went to skool with him.

around me, civics, integras, and rsx's and preludes, are like considered god's gift to the world. it annoys the hell outta me. this kids civic had high intensity lights, and yellow racing fog lights. a roll cage and of course the 3" exhaust. i knew the minute he passed me at the light, i could have a shit load of fun with him. but i decided against putting his car to shame. so instead i went to pass him, and like an arrogant fuck-face he didnt want to get passed by wat he thought was an american POS.

but yea having cops as friends is a good thing most of the time. he's pulled me over 5x, never once did i get a ticket, not even a warning. just a cya later

LOL, I did something like that in my red GTC. I was draggin' Main Street back in Colorado. It was Friday night so everyone was out. I came across a late 80's early 90's Cavalier Z24. He made it very clear he wanted to race. It was too crowded for a race IMO, not to mention we were right by the Police station. I notice a Police car stopped at the light, going the other way. I laugh and start to inch forward and rev the engine. He bites and as soon as the light changes he screams off the line and I take off like normal. The cop flips a bitch and pulls him over.

That was great.

What you did was poetic justice. I would have beat his ass if he wouldn't get off my car. I would be willing to embarrass him in a race, but he had no respect. The cop idea was better than a beat down.

did i mention i didnt really have the gas for a race. my indicator light was on. idk how much gas is left at that point, but i know i coasted into the gas station this morning.

but no, racing on the street isnt my thing. yes i'll admit i have my own race course(street circut) that i use time to time. 10.2 miles, hairpins, s curves, long straights, and well a good mix of stuff. i lap it with the stealth at night in about 7:20. the neon took 9:50 and the 944 takes around 9:00...but i havent really pushed the 944 on that track yet. needs new tires b4 i do that. and the stealth i can better, that needs new tires and brakes. it's a very low populated road, and i say at night b/c i tend to cross the lines, at night oncoming traffic has their headlights on, i'd see them coming.

i've held actual races on there. closest was between me and a friends supra. i won after he fish tailed coming off the last turn...that scared the sit outta me, being all of 3ft infront of me at around 130. i think the coolest race i had was between me and 8 other guys. cars ranging from a 911 carerra 4s(355hp) down to a honda civic stock. the 911 and me seperated from the rest and did our own thing, i knew his strength ans weaknesses, and iexposed em, just not enuf. i lost that race, the only one i've eer lost. on that track i'm 10-1

I've done circuit stuff like that on access roads. Unfortunately, I've never really broken 60mph in 4th gear in the crx doing it and that was in a flat straight (dirt/gravel). The roads were mainly dirt/gravel, unused and not very forgiving if you went off the "road"... It's like a whole different world using a vehicle that was meant to go off-roading at a fraction of the speed. At least now I get to see all the nature I was missing by hauling a$$

Thats not when the light first comes on right? Thats when it stays on?

Cause i have gone 50-60 miles after i first saw the light and when i filled up i filled 18.4 gallons. And there were other times when i thought i must be running on fumes and when i filles i had 2 to 3 gallons left. But i never went until the light stayed on. Even driving 50 miles it would still turn off sometimes. Now i have the redline and that has a tiny 13.5 gallon tank lol

FREAKIN' BEAUTIFUL!!!
