So i got a few questions...

1st: Is it allright to still drive the car at high speeds if i have a patched tire? cause i got a flat on my right rear tire and i had it patched and im getting new tires in the spring for the back, but in case i feel spirited before then i would like to know if i have to worry about it giving out.

2nd: Will a 5spd tranny from a 95 3/S fit into a 92? Im thinking it should but i told my friend i would check cause he lost 2nd gear on his 92 dohc 5spd

1. It is not alright. Though you can drive at highway speeds, you don't want to stress a tire that has already suffered some structural breaches.

2. Though I have never done it, I would think those transmissions should swap.

The main thing I wanted to answer was #1. Don't get yourself in a bad spot by pushing it to hard.

If I recall correctly, I believe it will, though I can not say for 100% absolute certainty. I know there were some differences in some of the TCU's but that would not be a problem with a MTX.

Yes it will go in. However he will need 93+ passenger axle and intermediate shaft.

A bunch of hype and nothing more. I am more worried about whether or not their will still be a dollar menu in 2012 than an apocaplypse. I love how people hype up situations like these. There are even 2012 forums for people to discuss how the world will end. :rolleyes: I would pay some serious money to visit those forums when 2013 hits and nothing has happend. 2 billion threads with excuses I am sure. :lol:

i'll admit it is kinda strange that the mayan calendar ends that day...but i'm a pretty firm believer than no one can predict the future. Nostradamus and other famous people of that nature are just vague enough in their "predictions" so that many different outcomes would fit.

The bible code (which is just BS imo) predicted a comet to strike the earth that day, and also predicted a cat. 10 earthquake in LA in 2010. so, if theres a cat 10 in LA in 2 years, i may start to worry lol.

The apacolypse has been predicted literally dozens of times it the past. So far the human race is batting .000 on it's doomsday prophecies, lol.

hey, anyone else here beat assasins creed and notice the number under the barcode on the floor? 12212012. took me a second to figure it out, but gave me the chills when it clicked lol. that game rocked.

EDIT: heres something else interesting to think about. If they discovered there WAS a comet headed to hit us in 2012, and that is was broken apart so there would be multiple impacts around the globe, what would you do? How would you change the life you're living? Would you try and find a way to survive it? would you want to?
I think i would get with all of my friends and family and buy some land in northern alaska (since impacts are less likely the closer to the poles you get), and build a badass bomb shelter type deal. Also, i would buy shit tons of gas and oil, since price will most likely be astronomical afterwards. Also i'd buy a sweet Hum-vee :D

I bought Assasin's Creed the day it came out but I have yet to beat it. It actually gets a bit difficult. Graphics are kickass on it though. So do you have the PS3 or 360? Truth be told, I have spent the last few days playing the MX vs ATV untamed demo that I downloaded on my PS3. :lol: It's funny how in the game, whenever you do supercross events, the ATV's always get lit up by the bikes. That's why you don't buy ATV's to race...unless you want to lose. :eek:

I do not see how this differs from Y2K. What hard SCIENTIFIC evidence is there behind this? Yes, it is possible for poles to switch positions, but that does not affect the Earth's climate. If you want to refer to when the North Pole used to be a desert, it was not due to a pole change. It has been doing it since the Earth has existed. It is a bunch of hype built up by people. In fact, the Mayans themself were people. How is that any different if they claim something as opposed to someone else? And I have heard all the statistics for it. However, if you ever take ANY statistics class that is worth its weight, you will find that it is VERY easy to present statistics that encourage whatever idea there is. Like Blink said, there have been countless (literally) predictions of a "doomsday", we have missed every single one. Chalk this up as another as there is nothing that gives hard evidence towards the idea.

my opinion on 2012. i dont give a shit. if a comet was coming i'd go out and buy some crazy ass expensive car...maybe 2 on second thought. and drive em like i own them(which of course i dont without the money). then when the comet hits i'll have considered myself satisfied(for the most part).

So what did everybody think about Cloverfeild? I thought it was crappy because of the lack of backstory and closure, yet it was such an intense movie that it was really awsome and everyone should see it in theaters. There is supposed to be a sequel and it would be really cool to have a normally shot movie of the same incident, but I think it will be another "over the shouldser" camera position movie :-/

Hey guys, just wanted to stop in and say hi. Havn't been on at all in weeks..barely been home. I picked up a 2nd job sporatically to make some extra loot...just been trying to stay ahead of everything. Life hasn't changed much, all the stresses and headaches are still there...plus I got the mumps...again (had it a year or 2 ago if anybody remembers) So that's made me miserable for the last 2 weeks. Court date is scheduled for the end of Feb...so I'll find out what all will happen at that point. Picked up a Forester the other day to replace the Subaru that got totalled...I managed to talk them down 4 grand, so we got a nice deal. Other than that, I don't think anything has changed...just been really freakin busy trying to keep everything afloat.
