It is less than a mile. And I don't have to worry about people being loud here ever either. I think the next oldest person to me in this building is about 50 years old. And if I party, I just go somewhere else so it actually works out well.

washer/dryer: for te mom that just doesnt get a break(sorry sounds stupid). basically the washer is on top, when done, it drops the clothes into a dryer that is presetwhile setting the washer.the mom(or whomever) has like 1.5hrs to do what they want, maybe a lil tv, or just play with the baby or watever.

i'm not really in complete shock...but the vr4 is mentioned, just not the 3000gt version. the 300zx wasn't mentioned either. neither was the porsche 968, yet the 928 is listed as a future "barn finder..." pontiac fiero...i still think it would be something for pontiac to look into bringing back. i dont care as to how many people think the originals are awsome, i want a new mid engine american car...that's not up over 250k(mr. saleen/mr. weigert)

the taurus sho is already a sought after car, for reasons i can't really believe. the mazda 323 is an awsome lil car. same as the celica all trac...too bad there aren't tonnes of em around, everyone here would love to drive one. the gnx and nsx...amazing to say the least. the gnx is still one of the quickest american cars in te 1/4 mile, and the nsx about destroys most cars 3x its cost. i've had the fortune of driving most of the cars on that list...only no vw...i could if i wanted though.

and i also think the mr2 is a car that should b on that list, not on the bottom one. i would love to see what the actual mr2 would be now, not the mr2S.

when i'm already in a hole with cars, the clutch burned on the stealth. so now i'm out of a car, and need one for my ass to get to and from work. and to make it worse my friends 240sx is sitting in the driveway here at my place, but i can't use it do to the fact that there's no insurance. i'm not going to risk my lisence to get to and from a dead end job that pays 8 bucks an hour to bend over backwards for the people that already work there.

The more important fact is that I have the door sills from 3sx that say "3000gt" and have two lines on each side of that (I know we all know exactly what I'm talking about)

So, I want to know if I should paint the indentions blue to go with my car concept, or just keep them metal for a more traditional sill look? (like the newer Acura ones)

well if u have a concept going, go with that. and just because one company(acura) is putting metal sil plates on their car sils doesnt mean u have to because it's the "in" thing to do. porsche also does it from factory...with aluminum and carbon fiber(latter of the two looks best imho...the only one that matters)

i think also by using the blue for the numbers/letters might make it stand out from the other owners who purchase the sils and just install em plain jane

and blue, is that like the color of your interior accesories(sory bad spelling), or engine parts? another concept...if u have the money/time, fiberglass the center consol and dashboard, paint that blue, if it goes along with the interior color. just if you're alergic to fiberglass particles like me, i wouldnt suggest doing the work yourself.

My stock interior is a dark blue, and I have the blue ngk wires under the hood, so when I started buying stuff I went for blue, so its kind of the concept for the vehicle. I think your right though, Ill paint them and if I dont like the look then I can take a dremmel to it :grinyes:

FYI, I didnt buy them because it was the "in" thing, just because i really dig the look and wanted to modernize the interior. Now, for decent cupholders haha

I'm alive, but it's been really rough. I know i've chatted with a few of you online, and some of you know some aspects of it. I think Slade got the full brunt of it last night (and I appreciate it man). I don't mind going through it with of few of you on AIM, but alot of it is pretty personal and I'd rather not be posting it online for everybody. Life is just basically overwhelming at this point, and nothing has really been going my way at all for months, and I'm running out of solutions. I hate to do it, but I may be posting the vr4 up for sale sometime in the future as well. I've been lurking on here, but have just lacked any real desire to be posting. Sorry if I havn't been contributing much, and thanks for keeping me in your thoughts. I know it doesn't mean much, but venting to a few of you on AIM has really helped some nights...so thanks again.

you can put aim on the black berry. my mom got the black berry pearl and so did my brother. i was playing with them and i like them alot. so yeah i think i'm going to get one after i pay for my car registeration, 2 parking tickets, and smog on a 8.25 an hour job where i get like 15 hours a week. yeah i know thats weak!:banghead::banghead::banghead: but what ever it pays the bill bearly and there only the phone, insurance, and gas for my car haha.

I've never seen these so I don't know what they look like, but it sounds like they have raised letters, right? Well, if you wanted to color just the background and keep the raised letters metal (which is what I'm assuming you're trying to do...If not, disregard the rest of this) you could place masking tape over the letters so the whole thing is covered, then press down on the masking tape to kinda show you where the letters are, then CAREFULLY cut around them with an exacto knife. That way, you have only the raised letters covered in tape. Then spray paint or whatever the whole thing, let it dry, and remove the tape. Of course, this is assuming that the letters are raised enough to be able to cut them out of the tape in the first place...Does anyone understand what I'm trying to say? I swear it makes sense in my head :screwy:

i think they are indented...tho i think they can also be flush. i think it would be hard for them to be raised...might cause an issue with the door jam

Well I guess the only way to get that to work then would be to cover the outside with tape and color only the letters...OOOO you could like carefully pour Elmer's glue into the indented holes and let it dry, then take it off...I don't know if it would work on metal, but I know that girls used to do it all the time with with their little supply boxes at school. They would make badass little bookmarks out of dru glue that carried the patterns of whatever their supply boxes said. IF you don't wanna use glue, then you could use silly putty I guess. Just some quick ideas

The letters and lines are indented into the surface, so I am thinking of painting the indented letters and lines blue and having the raised background still be a polished metal look.

BTW they were hella expensive, but I am so happy that they didnt tape down like the cheap ebay sills.

EDIT* That glue idea is pretty cool actually :-) I may use that for some other project I do, I'm thinking I am going to paint the indented portions a metalic blue, if i dont like it i can always take it off no problem anyway.

for shirts/hoodies. u can use your own car or someone else's with their permission. at this point the car is yours, and mitsu could give a shit less with what u do with it. hell even if u walk into a dealer with a coffee mug(granted they probably sell em) they wouldn't care.

i'm getting a t-shirt done of my car(when fixed) for the NG next year.
