Just wanted to drop in and share the good news...just paid off the last couple payments I had left on the twin turbo paperweight. Gotta love tax returns...just knocked out a couple of debts in a matter of minutes. So now that my monthly bills have dropped significantly with the car paid off and it being off the road...I'm looking at purchasing something else made by Mitsu.

nope, after the wreck i parked the car and turned in the tags and dropped the insurance since i wasnt going to drive it. i got another car and was planning on finally working on the 3k or selling it. then, this sh*t happened... anyways so yea... hope everyone is doing good, im in sunny Cali for a week, tryna enjoy my time out here.

hey out of curiosity what do you guys/gals think i can get out of my engine and tranny if they total the car and i part it out.. tranny has 109k second gear synchro needs to be replaced as well as the sixth gear shift fork.. motor has 109k also runs perfect only ever had mobil 1 oil save for the factory oil at first... 1500for tranny same for engine???

Well, after 2 years of working a shit ton, I finally got around to applying to the local community college. The best part about it is that if my grades are high enough, I might have a chance to transfer into UT.

This is the best I've felt in a long time. It's nice to be back on track with my life.

Hey guys and girls, I have a favor to ask. A friend of mine who has been living int he country for a decade now, was just arrested and is going to be deported to Mexico. He's a great guy with a wife and 2 young kids up here. He works 3 jobs to support them. While he was driving a work truck for job #3, he got pulled over because of out-dated inspection stickers, was arrested 5 days ago, and is now being sent back to Mexico unless we can put together hte money for a lawyer.

I found out about all of this last night and was already able to get together about $1400 so far. Unfortunantly, I didn't forsee this coming, so I just paid off my car, my lawyer, and a few other debts with my income tax and last paycheck...so while I'd have plenty to help him out in 2 weeks, thats not good enough now. I've already tossed in every single dollar I had to live off for the next 11 days.

I don't know what all of your opinions on illegal immigrants are, but if you feel compelled, every single dollar would help. I need to put together another $1,100 by Wednesday, and am racking my brain on ways to do it. If any of you would like to contribute a few bucks I would forever be grateful. 10 years is a long time to 'push your luck'. it's not that i dont sympathise, but that seems like plenty of time to take the neccesary steps to become a legal citizen/resident.

i wish him the best of luck, but what would a lawyer be able to do? I think INS overrules the court system... I think his best bet may be to try like hell to get a temp. work visa or something.

:grinyes: Thanks Blink! Yeah, It's an odd word, but it's what the position was reffered to as. Basicly I will be working at the Virginia Living Museum, which is like a half zoo half natrual history museum. Its a cool place though, and I will be helping to take care of all the aquatic animals.

I actually started today, but I'm working wiht the larger mamals now because I have to wait till the next training cycle comes around. It was still very cool, I felt like I was Mike Row on Dirty Jobs though, searching for poo half the day lol.

The cyotes and red fox were very cool though.

That be true, but the hassle that we (TorchedStealth) went through to get that dirty little SOB in there qualifies it as a mod. Took a good 45 minutes to connect a freakin five inch long cord to the tranny. And it does technically make the thing faster, since the Camaro doesnt have to torque its way out of fourth gear.

Hmm, I'll check it when I get to the house. We have like 5 people playing on this one account though, so someone else might have gotten it and just deleted it. How many resets have you gotten yet? We're about halfway through lvl. 5(snipers up to the R700 are leveled through both marksman and expert, havn't even touched the SMG's). It sucks having other people play on this account because they keep on driving down my win/loss ratio. Either way, fantastic game, I recommend it to anyone with both a PS3/360 and $60.

I am 55 level 2 prestige. I would be higher but I stopped upping my prestige level because frankly I don't care what my symbol is next to me. I have played agianst 55 level 10 prestige guys and canned them. From my experience having a higher prestige level definatey does not mean your better. However, I have played some level 10 prestiges that are insanely good. What do you play on COD4? Right now I only play hardcore team deathmatch. Gets out most of the noobs and is a bit more fun than regular team deathmatch.

Hardcore team deathmatch is way fun, reminds me of counterstrike. I mainly play mercenary team deathmatch though. Search and destroy is pretty damn fun too. You're right on about the high level guys. Some times they do good, some times they do terrible. What I've found to matter the most is the team you have, the team you're playing, and the map you're playing on. Everyone has their good rounds, and everyone has their bad rounds. It helps when the map isn't fucktardedly dark(i.e. wet work).

Best fucking game ever made. M16+ACOG=best sniper in the game. (On 360 anyways) Lots of terrible guys out there, most i see will go 7 kills, 15 or so deaths. I usually play on straight TD, but pretty much any game mode is fun on that game.
