It comes with the SR20 motor which is MUCHHHH better than the KA24 which is a damn truck motor also found in the 240

Yup, we were there for 3 years. Chibana housing, Kadena AFB. my dad was air force.
So many little inlets and coves...gorgeous reefs and clear blue water...man that place kicked ass. I could recommend a million places for you to go, but i'm sure her parents already know them all. I will recommend a few anyways, just for the sake of my own reminiscing. :P
Gate 2 street, just south of Kadena, cool little strip to take in the culture/go shopping.
Four Seasons Steakhouse, tiny little habachi restaurant with the absolute best Kobe Beef, honestly the best tasting thing i've ever had.
Beaches...Moon beach, White Sand beach, Okuma resort, Ikei island, Takabanare island, they prettymuch all rock, just dont get stuck out on the reef when the tide comes in (1+ mile swim) and watch out for the sea snakes, blue ring octopus, cone snails, fire coral, and urchins :icon16:, and all the hermit crabs, lol.
Man that place was awesome...i hope to go back with my wife someday if i can affort to.

edit: forgot to mention...dont get your hopes up expectiong to see skylines and sylvias and whatnot, lol. I think the closest thing to a sports car i saw while i was there were 280's. Of course that was a while ago, before the whole drift scene F&F thing really happened. it may be different now. Tokyo should be another story though, bring money for car accessories. their car accessory stores in Tokyo are like superstores with lots of good stuff, like coilovers, wheels, steering wheels, racing seats...etc, etc, etc. Take us some nice pictures :biggrin:

it's been about 14 years...i think i was there from '91 to '94 or so. I remember when i got back to the states was the first time I saw a 3000GT, lol. love at first sight.
I would have to ask my parents if they recognize the name. I was only 10 or so.

Does anyone on here need an intake for there 3000/stealth? PMP Just Made there a sick intake kit. It fits better then the FIPK and its a lot less!

Hey guys long time no talk lol, thought i would say i'm alive and kicking. Just between working third shift at the police department sleeping 6hours the going to the misses i havn't had time to do nothing. Well all the parts for my build are in save for having my turbos remade into 15g's and getting the tranny in line. BTW i know some of you guys got ps3's i just bought one what is your friend id thingies...

My scree name on PS3 is SL3000gt. Make sure to get COD4 and play online. ;)

I believe they did the interview but deftspyder has not released the video due to work-related issues.

So this past weekend some friends and I rented a cabin in Kooser State Park in Somerset, PA.

We brought a good bit of alcohol and were ready to have a good time.

Friday night we playen drunken Trivial Pursuit 80's Edtion, poker, etc. About 2am we decided to call it a night and I went to bed in the loft.

Saturday we started drinking early, like shortly after we awoke. The drinking games resumed after we ate dinner.

Sometime during the night I blacked out. I drank way too much vodka too fast after killing a handle of Captain Morgan.

Anyway I woke up Sunday morning in the loft. First I was confused as to how I even got into the loft. Then I look forward and realize I am facing the window in the loft. The window was supposed to be beside me.

I go to reach for my cell phone (which I sat in the window the previous night) but it wasn't there. So I go for my pants pocket to realize, I'm not wearing them.

So I start feeling around the mattress looking for my pants and then I realize, my pillow or sleeping bag isnt in the loft either. I look down toward the couch where the one chick Carrie had slept the night before to see she wasn't there. I concentrated a little more and realized my pillow and sleeping bag were on the couch.

I laid in the bed for another minute then decided to crawl down the ladder. When I walked over to the couch I looked in and realized Carrie was in one of the other beds.

I look down and HEY, theres my pants. Absolutely nothing was coming back to me at this moment. So I put my pants back on and decided to lay back down on the couch.

A few minutes later the one other guy Jason comes out of the other bedroom and looks at me on the couch and convo goes like this

Jason: "I thought you were in the loft?"

Me: "I was. How'd I get up there?"

Jason: "I don't know. We helped you to the couch last night. I got up earlier to use the bathroom and you were in the loft."

Me: "Who took my pants off?"

Jason: "You werent wearing your pants? WTF? No one touched your pants."

So yeah theres my long ass story about my stupidity.

No one knows how or why I took my pants off, and how or why I ended up in the loft. It was good times though, lots of fun.

I think I have sworn off vodka though. Last time I drank vodka like that I blacked out, have no recollection of anything.

OK I'm done.

it's times like that that made me make the switch to (almost) strictly beer. No matter how annhialated i get, i can always remember what happened the next morning, lol.

Haha no vacation here. School has stopped and I am now landscaping. In the last 3 days I have worked over 30 hours. Yesterday I worked from 8am-10pm. And when I say worked I don't mean sat in an office making calls or driving around for appointments, I mean building a $60k retaining wall and hauling each block (each weighs 82lbs) to the back an building it. I literally cannot move now.

ok, how the hell is the hood like that? is that photoshopped? I've seen a kinda side view of this before and was very confused and asked about it. Is the hood just popped up a little and resting on top of the lights??? its damn hot!
It's gotta be a photoshop, or he had to weld in the sections and it just kinda sits on top of the lights...?

ok so its been a while since i've been on.

neways, i took a trip to VIR( virginia international raceway) the past 2 weekends. the first wkend, ferrari was there, got to c a f50...cool as hell imo.

the second weekend porsche was there, but fuck porsche for right now. i got to see a brand new dodge challenger vs. a ford mustang gt get trashed around the track...the mustang looked like it needed a lil more power to say the least. neways tried getting a pic of the challenger and they(dodge officials) wanted to take my camera...wtf, it's been released already, is this a special car or something?

back to the porsches, got to see soem really rare ones, from 917/R to gt1 and carrera gt's and even an enzo was let in for the day. i walked with my mouth agape....not really.



neways, i went to jersey for the last week. got bored and looked at some clutchees for the stealth. does 225 seem decent on ebay...or more like get it from gzp or jason? btw, gzp will b doing all the work. and the entire crew that i met is really nice

o and with the gto mr...wat r some differences(other than rhd) than the 3kgt vr4? and how many were made? i've looked around the net and not much is said bout em.

i think only a few hundred MRs were made. other than RHD and JDM-spec (no emmisions BS), the MR has shorter gears. Also i believe they lacked some of the toys of the VR-4 to save weight. no leather, abs, aws, etc

The MR's are no different that any other JDM 6 speed in their gearing. Yes they have shorter gears than the USDM though.

It weighed about 120lbs less than a regular TT. The 95/96 Stealth TT's are the closest we got to a MR.

how much would the MR trans be...is possible to hook up to a 92 tt? if they're even possible to get.

and y is it that thte 95/96 stealth tt are thte closest? its not the first time i've heard that mentioned...stealthee said it when i first joined

you would need a rear end as well, but yea it will work. no idea where you would find one though. I want an SR ATX if you find one...
The 96 TT were closest because they had the z15 chassis (right?) which meant no AWS which meant less weight, and since the stealths were lighter than the 3000gt's to begin with, that's the closest we get to the lightened MR.

The MR used the 5 speed rear end. The AWD ATX used the USDM 6 speed rear end.

Yes the 95 and 96 Stealth TT used the Z15A chassis. There was no ECS, no AWS, etc. You could even get them without leather and other amenities.
