u know honostly ur really starting to annoy the hell out of me. no one else has said anything to me, mainly because how i type is still cohearent enough to be understood. as far as i'm concerned i dont give a shit as to how much u ridicule my typing/english, it's your opinion. if someone else has that opinion(i think stealthee does) than great. doesnt mean that u have to say something every time. i'm finished with dealing with ur bs about my english. are u like an english major and ur project for next semester is to try to get everyone to type/ speak perfect english, cause that'll never happen. so to u i say fuck off already

Sorry to hear that. I simpily asked that you type a bit more coherently. I know I have talked to others here who wish the same thing. You then make a comment about me drunk posting and I was glad you pointed it out. After that you challenged my English agianst yours or something and I found that a bit humouros. I don't know, I guess to me it is not a competition. I could care less how well you CAN type. If you want to get mad, that is your own perogative. I know I am not. Happy holidays and I hope you aren't this mad when Christmas rolls around. Happy holidays to everyone else as well.

Edit: Ooops, skipped over the part about my major. No, I am actually going into International Business with a minor in German. However, part of my career is that I do in fact sound educated, so English is pushed on us. And if I recall right, this last "typing English episode" was brought up by you no? Wasn't it you that said something like, "first thing that popped into my head: he makes fun of the way my english comes out on the net...?" And if my memory is still not amiss, I think I said something pertaining to; you are right, my complete drunken literary coherence is about comparable to what you have displayed on the boards." More or less, I had just taken what you had given me to work with from that first post where it was brought up. No harm or disregard intended. Like I said, sorry you are unhappy. I hope you feel better. :)

Vector this is the issue. If you can type coherently, then why don't you? If you refuse to do so it shows laziness. Like I've stated time and time again it takes me longer to type the way you chose to type then typing a full word, and full sentences.

Sure I may misspell a word now and again, I never claimed to be perfect. But people don't have to sit back and read my posts 5 times to get the point I was trying to make.

Ponder that for awhile.

:1: I must say that I too have stopped visiting/reading threads on AF, especially posts made in the OT section, due to the constant bombardment of your posts. I used to find the section very interesting but as many have pointed out time and time again, you're just too sporadically everywhere--your posts, your thoughts...everything. I really don't understand why you feel compelled to comment on every little aspect that goes on around here and feel like you need to share your COMPLETE life story to us all the time...on a daily basis! C'mon bro...common sense would tell you otherwise...

And Jason, you're good man!

English doesnt have to be your strong point. I will say your little rant about work was a little difficult to read with lack of paragraphs, etc, but it was comprehendable at least.

+1 for Jason. And vector, it doesn't really matter what way you type, it's just easier on the eyes if you type with proper grammar. Plus, it shows that you respect the other members enough to spend the time to type correctly. I'm not flaming you, and hope you don't take this negatively, but it really is a bit immature to type with one-letter substitutions and numbers. So type correctly and no one will bother you!

On days that I feel it is nessesary to type properly I will. Most of the times, however I don't really care too much. But seeing that most of you have issues, I will try to change...it may take a lil while though. Being it is how I talk to everyone on email and texting and so on. I hate typing properly, it just bothers me.

Stealthee: the amount of time it takes me to type "u" is about how long it takes me to type you...I just type the letter "u" instead. Lazy...not really, I have my days that I don't wanna do anything, but I work my ass off doing every job I have to. Without any college, this world seems to think that I have no real reason to be in existance.

When was it that a person needed a college degree to do half the stuff that Henry Ford, The Duesenburg brothers, Enzo Ferrari, Ferdinand Porsche did...all without degrees in automotive engineering. Yes I have issues dealing with people that think people that go to college are smarter/better than those that don't go. Trust me I've heard it enough from relatives that its gets me really pissed.

Sl3000: I hate most holidays...i see my relatives, and get told that i should go to college cause i won't amount to anything without it.

jason: other than the one pissy thing earlier this wk, I've not really had issues with reading what you type.

Nobody here, or who has been on here knows my life story, nor does anybody know near 1/100th of it. I bottle up most of the stuff that happens to me, because it seems no one I know could really care enough to want to know. Only one person in my life really knew what was going on behind the closed doors, and for that and many other reasons I thank her, and until I die I will not be able to say it to her face.

Note: i think Enzo went to college for something, just not 100% sure what.

Coherent enough?

Dude, your life story should not affect typing properly. I bust my ass every day at work too. I put in 45-50 hours a week minimum. Thats not including the shit I do on the side.

You always act like you've had the roughest life in history, but guess what, you're still here. I haven't had the greatest life either. I had 3 things that almost killed me before my first birthday.

Some freak happening kept me from being in the car with my dad, when I was 6 months old. He ended up being hit head on by a drunk driver. He was hit so hard the car flew 200 feet backwards in the air before it touched down again.

I ripped a car in half exactly 9 years ago today. I walked away from something that should have killed me.

These events have nothing to do with my typing skill, and the events in your life shouldn't affect yours either. Also no one here cares about these events in my life because they have nothing to do with this forum. You keep bringing up these little things like you want people to throw you a pity party. Its pitiful alright. Pitiful you act the way you do here.

And who said anything about a college degree? I don't have one. What the hell does it matter? It wasn't mentioned and you seemed to go off on your own tangent with that one.

Fact is, if you want ANYONE to take you seriously, you'd type properly. This isnt text messaging, this isn't IM, this is a forum where you need to be clear and concise.

ur and your...shouldnt be a complaint. its like typing xmas instead of christmas.

if you need someone to type perfectly for you in order for you to understand whats being said, then maybe its not him with the problem. its a forum/message board. its not english class!

what he's doing has the same purpose of you guys typing ftw, imo etc..

for some odd reason i can look at most of his posts (not all of them, sometimes he gets out of hand) and understand it perfectly. doesnt take a genius to easily read most of the things he types.

and if it bothers you guys that much, just dont read his posts.

since it was last talked about he hasn't done much harm. so this can be droped.

I agree young, it is the Holidays. That is one of the reasons I didn't do anything when he he got tempermental and told me to f**k off. And like I said before, I didn't even tell him to type in a more proper English this time, I just thanked him for pointing something out that he brought up last page. :) And honestly, there is not one person on this board that types properly 100% of the time. And I don't think 1 person on this board cares how you type as long as you don't use a text lingo for most of your post.

So young, what are your holiday plans?

Whats up guys, just wanted to drop in and say hi. Life still sucks, a few more major things have happened in the last 2 weeks. I look back at the last 5 months, and it feels like a fucking decade. It just amazes me how so much could have happened and I never saw any of it coming. Luckily work is taking up a decent chunk of my time, and is preventing me from sitting at home and thinking. I've been back for a week or so at work, and it's just going awesome...I'm making damn sure they know it was a mistake to demote and fire me. Yesterday (my 8th or so day back) we set a new sales record for that location (which has been open 364 days a year, for 6 years). I'm just tearing it up, out-selling everybody in that place.

Anyway, just wanted to wish everybody happy holidays.

I thought that this was something that should be added to the vr4/tt as a first car thread. It is a very good example as to why not to buy one for the first car.

The Morning of May 19th 2000, started off like any other. I'd started my early morning commute to work. Half way there two speeding sports cars (http://www.car-accidents.com/racing-accidents-crash.html) passed me at a very high rate of speed (http://www.car-accidents.com/speeding-accidents-crash.html), I'd set my cruise 5 miles over the limit and these cars still passed me as if I were staying still all while weaving around me and each other. I'd thought to myself they were going to get themselves killed.

A few more miles down the road they were already out of my mind when I came upon one of the cars a Nissan 300zx (http://www.car-accidents.com/nissan-accidents.html) in an awkward position in the middle of the road, it was then that I realzed I had missed the other car which was on its roof in a ditch. I immediately called 911 then got out to see if there was anything I could do. Everyone in the Nissan (http://www.car-accidents.com/nissan-accidents.html) was ok, just very histerical. I then ran to one of the one of the victims of the other car who had been ejected (http://www.car-accidents.com/ejected-accident.html), I could not find a pulse and he was not breathing I attempted CPR but to avail the boy was dead, I'd later learned he had broke his neck.

In the rolled over car was his girlfriend who had been wearing her seat belt (http://www.car-accidents.com/pages/seat_belts.html). She had a few minor injuries, lots of cuts and bruises but she was ok. It took nearly 10 minutes for police and an ambulance to arrive, it felt like hours. I later learned that all the passangers in both cars were or under 17yr olds. They were all friends, and after a night of fun the drivers of both cars decided to put there machines to the test and started to race each other home when the cars clipped each other causing the 3000GT (http://www.car-accidents.com/mitsubishi-crash.html) to lose control roll over a number of times untill finally coming to a rest upside down in a ditch.

The decision to go home in this way turned out to be a deadly decision for one of the boys, and a memory that will be with the rest of them and mine for the rest of our lives. Before parents buy there kids these cars, they should be able to trust that they won't go out and do this sort of stuff, but of course if you buy your kid a sports car what else do you expect? Driving wrecklessly and fast is just stupid and often times has deadly consiquences. Before you go out and drive like that THINK! not only for your own lives but for everyone out there on the road. AND ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT! (http://www.car-accidents.com/pages/seat_belts.html)

So here is a nice story of last night. A local law firm around here offers to pick up the tab for cab rides at this time of year so that people can get home safely. My roomate and I called them last night and had them come pick it up and told them to send the bill to the law firm (as they tell you to do on the commercial.) So we drive across town and finally get to my place and he asks for the full amount. We each explain to him that we had that law firm pick it up and they say that that is not true. Now I get pissed. The head dispatcher talks to me on the phone and I flip shit on them as it was a $25 ride and I did not even have that much on me. We in an argument to the point she threatend to call the cops on me  Next thing I know, 2 cop cars pull up to our apartments driving around with their big spotlight on looking for us. I gave the guy the rest of my money (about $10) and made a run for it (partly because we were a little drunk and underage). We got inside and kept the lights shut as cops went around the apartments for about the next hour and a half. So I call the manager at the cab service today and said, "so do you call the cops on all your customers or is that just us?" She tells me that they will not debate whether or not we had the bill sent to the law firm and hung up on me.
