i don't really like the new evo because at a quick glance i couldn't tell the difference between the evo and the lancer. where as the generations before that there was a huge difference in looks between them. also at first i didn't like them because i heard that they were going to be A/T and a 5 speed opt but now i guess there offering a 6 speed opt to so thats cool.

but all and all i'd buy in the 6 speed transmission if i had the money but i am curious about how the auto will handle since there is so much hype on it's dual clutch system.

well then they should produce a 3l and have something for the new gtr...get rid of the two rear drs while they're at it. and maybe shorten the roof line...and smooth it so it's not so boxy up front. but that's just wishful thinking. tho at that point it'd almost be a new 3kgt.

and i hope to god that they offer a 6spd as an option. i mean not really much of a difference between 5th and 6th but, still one extra gear for rt80 when i go 90mph+

also if u go back to autoblogs....look for the vector, it appears that the engine is left exposed, or they took the glass off for less glare(and better pics) they have pics of both engines. and says that there is another engine pushing 1850hp!!!(i doubt it, but ok) i'm so excited. says this is just a concept(working or not, it's some light at the end of the tunnel) o and a few more pics of it, and the engines

Haha, that EVO would not have a problem with your 5 speed 3.0L.

EVO>3000GT/Stealth model for model in performance.

And for the love of God, Stealthee and I are not kidding when we say use a damn edit button and don't post half the damn posts in the OT thread. This is not a chatroom. Every time I come through here you have 5 new posts in this thread alone added to your name, some in sequential order. It is getting to the point where me and others I am sure are just starting to scroll past your posts just because there is so many of them. If you want to add something just hit edit and make sure it is something worth posting in the first place instead of making 3 sequential posts. It is just getting really annoying.

Edit: Has anyone hear had the chance to play Assassin's Creed yet? I got it the day it came out for PS3 and I love it. Great graphics and a fun game to lay. The entire setting is just HUGE though.

as for the game, i dont have ps3...just 360 and ps2.

wondering...anybody here own their 3/s since brand new?

AutostradaVR4
11-18-2007, 12:51 PM
i doubt that one. anyone with 40k to spend on a car probably isnt willing to deal with the sacrifices of owning an aging 3/s.

i know theres at least a few guys over on 3si who are though. but i dont know of any original 1st gen owners.

vectorspecialist
11-18-2007, 09:14 PM
o i just meaning any 3/s from 91-99.

but yea i dont go on 3si, lil stupid and confusing. to many sections to dig thru for info. af it's kinda just there, and self explanitory

Twizted_3KGT
11-20-2007, 01:56 AM
I'm on 3si much more than AF, more info. over there + . There's pretty much the General section, Members section, and Classifieds section. There's a lot more sections, but you get more responses posting w/e it is in general. Always drama there though.

vectorspecialist
11-20-2007, 07:50 AM
eh, i have a registration over on 3si, just never really use it.

there's a few people i've met that have said that its a lil confusing. the guy who's r/t is in the pic with my turbo in the post pic here thread, he's been on 3si thought it was difficult to navi. and the guy who owns the red tt by me said the same thing.

i like af, more cars here than just 3/s.

anybody just wanna go for a cruise somewhere sumtime? i got my lisence back and now all i wanna do is drive my stealth. but i'm alone in the area, no respect from american muscle owners, and no respect from exotic owners. and the only person i know who had a 3/s traded it in(for a vw rabbit).

so yea nebody in the area wanna just meet and drive out on the highway or back roads?

i guess not, even i have nothing going on.

just been cleaning up the stealth, and working, getting ready to get my 944 back on saturday or monday(thank f'n god it's only been in the shop since oct 6)

toying with my 741hp porsche 997 turbo in forza. runs about 7:10 around the ring. thing f'n moves. the gearing is great. suspension is tuned stiff as hell, and has 25%tq going to the front wheels 75 to the rear, it rocks at any track against any car.

Ive got something to talk about!

Ok, so when you walk into a public bathroom you see three urinals... The first is a kiddie one (the low to the ground one) the other two are normal, the last one is occupied... Do you take the center to enjoy the grown up urinal yet give up the cushion of space, or do you take the spacial cushion and suffer the indignanty of the kiddie bowl?

Also, how would the pressence of a partition affect your decision?

I had this happen, i would always take the kiddie, yet i was in the third urinal today at work and some dude took the center next to me.:banghead:

the 997, get the differenctial and put all thte tq to the rear tires, then the ring becomes one hell of a drift track. rear engine, rwd, 480hp. i own i think 4 or 5 997 turbo's in forza. all are for different reasons.(that and y'all know i love porsches, own em all in the game)

the only cars i hate running on the ring, d and c class cars(yes that includes our beloved 3/s') above that, it's not as long.

haha fun on the road again. this time with a 3kgt sl. so i'm driving from taco bell home, when i stop at a light and notice those wonderful front lights in my sideview. i look back and it's a nice clean( i mean clean) 2nd gen sl. i get onto the highway and he does so too. about a mile down the rd, he pulls up to me and the next light, and said " wanna run with a good car" i didnt say nething, just looked at the car(put mine to shame really). and we leave the light. the speed limit drops from 50 to 35, he puts his window down and says how bout now. i drop two gears(2nd by now) and about 2 seconds later w/o warning he goes. i guess he didnt notice the plate frame that says tt, or the lettering on the side. but i didnt run him, he just wasted his gas, and i made a turn onto another highway. if i didnt have to turn, i woulda gone, but eh. i've come to relize if i'm gonna race someone, they better not be cocky or think that b/c it's a dodge...sota, it's slow.

i'd send u a pm of my setup, but i dont like giving out that info. it took me well over 5hrs just to get it the way it is. 5hrs...over 10day period.

Ok, so a topic of debate just came up over on 3si about hunting.

I cant beleive that there are so many people out there AGAINST hunting. Several people have posted in the thread talking about hunters thinking they are macho men hiding in the woods and waiting for the prey (deer, bear, whatever) to come along

Seriously WTF are people smoking? I honestly got angry reading some of the peoples posts. They honestly have NO CLUE what hunting is all about. They obviously have no clue that hunting also has a purpose.

Its fine to not like hunting, but to sit there and bag on hunters and act like they are the scum of the earth is enough to piss someone off. I also realize some of those posting the way they are are just being typical e-thugs who want to make their e-peen look bigger, but still.

So what is everyones opinion on the subject here?

VR43000GT

I am going to start working out pretty soon here. Last winter I got up to 235 lbs lol (I'm 6'2"). I worked hard, ran at least two miles every day, lifted, and dieted strictly. I lost 25lb on top of gaining muscle. I am not in the same shape since I stopped so it is definately time to hop back on that wagon.

youngvr4

there just too city like.

before there was stores to go grocery shopping at, how in the hell do they think people survived and ate?

how did the native americans live before columbus came?

how about the food they eat? do they know how there food is killed?

all meat has to be killed in order to eat it, so whats the difference between shooting an elk in the heart or head and slicing the neck of a cow?

vectorspecialist
11-24-2007, 07:32 AM
i think those opposed to hunting should be on survivor, or have to try to live in the wild for a wk. cause in all technicality fishing is hunting too. so that would lower the world popultation pretty well i'd think.

i dont mind hunting. i've never done it, wouldnt mind going tho. only thing bad i've ever heard about it, one of my friends grandfathers got killed by a fellow hunter(dick cheney anyone) tho his fault for not wearing a bright vest.

as for me, up until like may i had a six pack. then it just like disapearred. to get it back wouldnt b that difficult.

my workout...pushing shit(up to 200lbs) around at work on u-boat whose wheels arent round anymore. or the UPS route, on and off that truck up to 500x a day, plus carring packages up to 75lbs. and walking at a quick pace, not run, but walk. it'll kick ur ass into shape pretty quickly.

i dont eat much at thanksgiving, i dont like turkey...o going back to the hunting thing. some hunter damn near got hit by me, b/c he didnt bother looking b4 crossing the 55mph road. talk about brake fade. then to add to it, hunters have like the worst parking habits. ass end of the toyota or ford pickup hanging out into the road. i'm sorry if ur bumper is f'd up when u get back, but ur intruding on the road, and not moving.

well does killing a rabit with a stick by throwing and breaking it's neck considered hunting?...yes the rabit was eaten. survival skool. they let u eat watever u can get there. i've had(i know this will upset most of u) dog, horse, cat, deer, moose, bear, squirrel, snake, rabbit, and god only knows wat else. btw deer was the best of all of em. then probably snake, kinda like chicken, not even joking, just like chicken.

My thanksgiving was good. I don't hunt, but I kicked ass at Big Buck Hunter last night, and would definitely shoot a deer if it didn't require getting up early, being cold, and smelling like deer piss. I'm diesel because I lift 5 days a week. And I'd take hte middle urinal because pissing in the kiddie one is never a good time. True story.

The first one I "hit" I was barely moving and the deer just sort of slid across the hood.

The secod I was probly going 65 but I saw it and slammed the brakes (NEVER EVER swerve to avoid one) and got slowed but still caught her at a good clip. Caused about $2500 in damage.
