I'll cut to the chase, two races, one from a 10 mph roll and another from a dig. Got ahead at first and then missed 2nd first race. I was like WTF? I then notice it is quite difficult to get into 2nd at all. Next race, I got the jump off the line agian and could not get 2nd agian! I was furious and could not figure out why it was near impossible to get into second. Well, I decide to pull over to see if I can figure out what is going on and it turns out my digi camera had worked its way into the shiftboot making it near impossible to get it into second. So there you go....two deaths from a 02 Mustang GT. :loser:

Hi, My name is Brenda I noticed your question in regards to vinyl lettering. I have seen and ordered vinyl decals for my car, the website is REMOVED. They have a huge selections of decals and you can customize any or them and their vinyl lettering section allows you to type and see it on screen. You can also change colors and fonts and it all appears live on your screen. Good Luck!

That site sucks.. they are way overpriced and you are just a POS spammer :banghead:

If this matters at all I think they look pretty good. And not to mention, since they are 17's and not 18's or especially 19's he hasn't lost his DD ride quality. And on top of that, they also probably don't weigh a thousand pounds a piece. .02

well i've lost my job, which sucks cause i know how to pay for a 600 conversion for my 944 and leave me like 200 for gas to find a new job. other than that, pretty decent, can't really complain.

944's just been a bitch lately, hood won't open, and can't get access to the pin from underneath, i'm going to need a car lift(good friend), fried the fuses in it for the clock, lap timer, and all the gages and lights, slammed my fingers in the door jam, got hit by the headlight assembly when i took it off. and slightly hit the stealth(only a scratch) with the back end because the reverse light went out. got pulled over for the taillight being out, then to find out it wasn't out, just loose, cop gave a shit attitude and i just bent over like a bitch and took it, i'm not in the space to argue(he let me off). lost rear grip with the 944 and spun, luckily no damage to anything, and to top it all of with just the car, it now has a leak in the roof and any rain gets in the car, and i really can't spare the 20 bucks for a new seal.

for some reason i cant hold my temper when it comes to an asshole cop, its like its embedded in my dna to get an attitude with them.

well atleast your alive and healthy (i hope).
me i cant complain, life has been forgiving and helpfull.
i dont know why it took me so long to go back to school, but i'm glad i did.
once i'm done with all of this schooling, i'll be getting another vr4.
my goal is to find a 1st gen, and get everything rebuilt, engine, tranny, bigger turbo's
i fell in love with the vr4 in first gen style, and it will always be my favorite.

usually for me when it rains, it pours. but 99% of the time it goes away within a few days or that week.

my friend's helping with the hood tommorow, my fingers aren't that bad, luckily i kinda got the door slowed a lil b4 impact. fuses, eh, a few bucks at advanced auto fixed that. bought new headlights that work, beautifully at that. the stealth still has the bad clutch and damaged right front, so i'll just add the lil scratch to the shops repair list.

i only have 1 point on my lisence, but i'm trying to go about 3yrs without a ticket, therefor it'll clear out and i can work for UPS as a driver...and rent a car. thus leaving me with the only option of taking it from the officer. now being it was a female officer, kinda nice looking, i had no issues, other than a lil studder.

Ok so what is the deal with this? I installed my MBC and gauge and set it to 14 psi. We did some 3rd gear pulls to set it just so we knew what it spiked at...but since we were in 3rd gear we never really were accelerating that fast at the lower rpms. However, after setting it, it was clear that it started to cutout at about 4,200rpms and I was in need of new plugs and wires (most importantly regapped plugs). Well, I rarely drive the VR4 hard at all (even when I am racing I don't go all out on it) and since I have my SL back I haven't been driving it as much either. Well, today was a cold brisk day but very dry with clear skies so I took it out. After driving around for a while, I pulled out and punched it (not even launching it as I was probably going 10 mph or so) and it took off and almost immediately broke all 4 tires loose causing my back end to shift momentarily and then hooked back up and shot off like a rocket. I was actually so stunned that it broke loose and then caught traction agian I just pushed in the clutch and gently put it into 2nd and then continued. Now the part that stumps me is how did I break 4 new Z rated tires on a slow roll? And secondly, why wasn't there any problem like there was before with the plugs? Truth be told I don't think I have ever been in a car that took off like that from a slow roll...I was actually a bit scared afterwards lol. I have before gotten on the throttle a bit to see what it had and it never took off like this so I don't know what the deal was.

TorchedStealth
10-27-2008, 07:12 PM
Ha did you remember to wipe? I kinda did that in 701's car when he let me drive it. I was going just under 15mph in first and brake boosted to about 12-13psi and let it rip! The wheels kinda slipped but didnt actualy break loose all the way then it just squatted and took the hell off! Then I cried a bit after I realized I had to go back to FWD

VR43000GT
10-28-2008, 03:28 AM
Haha yeah, the only thing I think of is that there may have been a bit of gravel or something that caused the car to break loose because nothing like that has occured before.

vectorspecialist
10-28-2008, 04:00 PM
the only time i ever spun the tires on my stealth(still sitting stock) was on a 5k launch...probably explains the clutch being gone. i did it 1 or 2x, both time broke loose. but once i gained traction its like immediatly you come out of gear and hit the brakes or you're off to the races. i can't imagine breaking loose on a low rolling launch, but i guess with enough power it can be done with the awd.

at 14.5psi wats the power supposed to be, 350?

Polygon
10-28-2008, 07:04 PM
At the most 345 HP at the crank. Probably more like 335 HP. The only time I've ever broke loose was on a 3,500 RPM drop while it was very wet and very cold. It slipped only for an instant and then it just dug in and hauled ass.

VR43000GT
10-28-2008, 08:03 PM
See that is the thing, I rarely ever drive it hard and I have never given it anything near a full launch. I will say it was quite a rush when it happend.

So I test drove 95 TT with a co-worker today. It was at a local dealership so I figured it would be legit. Well it had a horrible misfire as soon as you hit full boost, and it started to overheat severely when we got back. It was weird because it didnt feel very hot under the hood. I was sad when this stuff happened...sad to see a very clean 3/S in this mechanical condition. They are gonna attempt to fix it and let us know how it goes so we are hoping for the best. Its 95 for $6500 with 119k miles, so it doesnt seem like a bad price....if it works. I'm thinking this one may be staying at the dealer though.

i'm happy though, the bengals aren't last in the NFL anymore, detroit is. they can't seem to get a break, worst NFL team, and what worst city to live in in the USA. at least the tigers are ok. and now the eagles have a better record then the cowboys too after thier win and dallas' lost

Hey guys and girls, it's been awhile. Thought I'd drop by. Just wanted to give a quick update on my life. Well as many of you know I worked my ass off for the last 2 years at a specific company, got to the sales manager position, was demoted, quit, was recruited back, got promoted to sales manager again, etc. Well the last 6 months have been insane. I finally got promoted to GM. Was finally set, pulling in just shy of 6 figures at 25yo and happy.

Met a new girl, got rid of the insane ex with all the emotional drama, moved my mom into an elegant retirement home, bought the house from her, got a 2nd car as a beater, life was looking good. I even started playing poker online again on the side and with the money that I could afford to gamble with now, I was making REALLY REALLY nice bank off that as well. When that incident I was pulled over for last year, finally went to court, I could afford a nice lawyer and only lost my license for a short period of time (already got it back). So what can I say, life was good. I was working 90 hours a week, but I had little room to complain.

Well obviously it couldn't all last :grinno: I recently left the company. I started butting heads with my superior (the previous ****head, who I had left the company after fighting with before). Long story short, after a couple weeks of very serious arguments, calls to HR, etc. We parted ways. So now I'm not living as comfortably, but I'm also not working 90 hours a week and have had time to relax and enjoy life.

The vr4 is still off the road, but runs just fine and should be back up soon. The new girl is awesome, we've moved in together and even adopted a pitbull puppy last week which I have been meaning to do for quite some time now. I'm playing poker again full time, which as some of you may remember, has it's ups and downs, but it's remaining profitable enough to pay the bills and mortgage, so I can't complain too much. All in all, I'm in alot better state emotionally, financially, everything really than I have been in years. I honestly wish I could say I'll be back on here more, but I don't want to lie. When I'm online I usually have half a dozen poker tables going at once, and other than that, I'm rarely on. I know I haven't been on AIM in months either, but I hope all is well with all of you.

As far as the election goes, I am sad. If Gore would have been president I would have been upset, if Kerry, I would have wished it wasn't so, but Obama leaves me sad. A man who removes the American flag from his plane for what it stands for (which is was). And a man who won't hold his heart to the National Anthem because it means war (does he know if it wasn't for our war we would not be the United States?). In all honesty, not only does his spending plan seem unamerican but so does his morals having never been through what others have died for in the worse ways possible so that our flag can be what it is today. In all honesty, I hope he leaves office...regardless of how it happens. This is a sad day in America.
