Nice job but I can't image it handles well.

Holy Smokes.

Is it really worth all those modifications, time, and money to make the motor fit in such an 80's mediocre car?

Then on the page where he's talking about the BCM, he mentioned the "customer wants to use the GXP's keyless entry"..... Really? He's doing this for a customer? He must be making BANK and someone has really deep pockets.

:werd:

About a mediocre car as you can get. Probably not! Crazy. I guess at least he won't have to worry about FWD torque steer.

Also, he can disable the DoD/Active Fuel Management system with the right Powertuner. No concern for fuel economy with this setup. I wonder how it handles. Does he have the guts to do over 100+ mph on a high speed curve?

...just wait until he has to turn and/or stop!!! THAT'S when things will get exciting!

I'm curious what the net gain in performance will be. Like a timeslip. :grinyes:

Normally these projects end in disaster or just fade away. Old discussion anyways since it has been on the other LS forums for awhile now. However, always room for more criticism.

Merry Christmas all. Hope Santa got you what you wanted.

My wife and I have a new American Akita dog coming in next week from Ohio. AKC and UKC Champion. To replace our Great Dane mix who passed away this summer after 12 years. Rip. :crying:

Sorry to hear that Wylie. What breed? Over 18 years old is amazing.

The hardest part of pet ownership, is having to say goodbye to a beloved animal. I'm sorry to hear of both of your losses, Bob and Wylie.

Thanks Rich. True, it is tough when a pet of many years passes away but you have to get over it and move on. Best thing to do is get another one. :grinyes:

I'm taking delivery of a 16 month old American Akita to take Rex's place. He comes in Monday evening from Columbus, OH. Champion and took 2nd place for Akitas in UKC's Top 10 of 2010. Both AKC and UKC registered. Won't have to worry about housebreaking him.

And Happy New Year all!!!

Thats worth it right there. Not having to come home to puppy accidents and ripped up furnature. :sunglasse

My pooch Casey we thought just got over a bladder infection. She just went in to the vet for a urine sample and something still isn't right. They think she could still have a bladder infection or a tumor or cancer. Monday she goes in for x-rays. Poor puppy. We are all praying its nothing serious. :crying:

I hope everything works out Tim and its not serious like a tumor or cancer. What breed? Thats what did Rex in in his final days but for a large breed dog still he had a long life.

Here are some pics of our Akitas. Sammy a.k.a. CH. MT Valley Samson Sammy in the top pic and Tomi in the bottom. Both the same age. Tomi is my son's dog. We got him last Christmas and had to housetrain him but that worked out fine.

Beautiful dog, but I am partial to Doberman. We also rescued a pit bull from the neighbors next door during the spring last year. The dog would be put out at 6:00 AM and then the kids would play with her. Then would be put in the basement. The poor dog would cry all day then all night. The wife and I could not take it any more so we offered to buy the dog, so that is how we have a pit bull, a doberman, two Siamese cats, and a black short hair cat.

Both BEAUTIFUL animals Bob. The one on top looks like he's thinking "you talkin' to me?" while the one on the bottom appears to be thinking "pssh, whatever!"

Holy Smokes, Is this guy on Crack? 1500 bucks for stock GXP rims (without tires)???? For that price they better be new out of the box. No way is he getting that.

http://stcloud.craigslist.org/pts/2147025761.html

450.00 each? I don't want to insult him by emailing him some low-ball offer, but the most I'd pay would be 500 for the set. Just the way it is.

Thats way too much Tim. Around $250 new for each is about right.

I hope all of you affected by the bad weather across the country are doing good. Stay warm and be safe. Yes, we got hit here too. Right now as I type it is 4 degrees F. Brrrrrrrrrrrr! Snow and ice on ground but may disappear tomorrow. :dunno:
