Sweet.. I just got back from cruising around because I got bored.. how it went was this

I left to go wash my car, since my friends didnt answer when I called em I decided to do something I havent done in a while, which was go cruising around for a race. So I went.. after 30 minutes or more of driving without one, I was heading home, and then I decided to drive around where I live, so I headed to the movies and decided to take a left where I see this red ford truck take off like no tomorrow when he's making the turn, so I was thinking, maybe he'll bite. Well I guess he saw me coming after him so he slowed down to the speed limit, I went next to the guy and we lined up going 30 or so. Now I didnt think he would go so I just decided to step on the gas and come back home, well when I did step on the gas he did it at the exact same time and I was like "Whoa, that was unexpected" so we were going at the same rate up to 40 mph when I just started to walk away. I was thinking "Eh maybe they're not all that powerful" and yeah I came back home.

BTW it was a single cab, couldnt tell if it was a v8 because I didnt bother to look for a badge but it did say sport on the side and it didnt look like a fake vinyl.

avalanches kick ass... not really on the outside.. but the interior is awesome and they are sweet in the snow.... i like mine...

I like the outside, they look real nice, and my mom especially likes em because its the same styling as a Escalde EXT and she wants one of those but we really cant afford those as much as a Avalanche. the interior is sweet, I test drove one and they drive pretty good. I wouldnt mind going mudding with one.

Well.. I think you gotta have a truck and a car, because they go hand in hand really.. you go in a car to cruise around, race, and show it off. Trucks are there if you have to carry alot of crap around in the back like luggage, furniture, people etc. and they can get your car out of a tough spot or pull it if the worse happens.

Dont really think that is such a good idea, just because of ride height, and trucks are better to get to places where the front of a car cant without ripping it off.

yeah it got stuck all the time....one time i was trying to dodge this huge mud hole and when i went around it the hill side gave out and the front wheels were hanging over this huge hill and being fwd i was screwed...we had to find this ranger to pull us out...it started spinning too and the car slid even more over the hill but thank god it didnt go completley over...i dont know how i would have explained that to mom

Thats exactly why you better have AWD or atleast a 4WD option to get your ass out.

i dont really like trucks either...but i'd take anything supercharged like the harley trucks and lightnings

Screw those fords man, i'd take an SS Silverado anyday, that or an SRT-10 but I like the chevy styling.

ive never owned anything other than gm...but i just dont really like the ss silverados...i do like the srt 10 rams tho

Speaking of which, the other day I was driving and next to me was a Honda Ridgeline, similar in design to the Avalanche and I must say it was in white and was very very nice looking. Although it looked nice, I will never get a Honda, even if I had the money.

Im on the same boat as TS about the Ridgeline, it looks good, I like that its kinda smaller than the Avalanche but I wouldnt get it because its a Honda and putting out less than an Avalanche or similar type SUV/Truck
