And Nemo the GIANT German shepard (that was taken a while ago, he is over 100lbs already and only around 6 - 7 months) He is staying with me but not for good. Its my sisters dog but she want to wait til he gets threw the distructive puppy phaze before she takes him and I work from home ,so I can keep a eye on him.

Also I would love to give you the German Shepard viper but my sister is Lucifer Princess of darkness and would have my balls in a vise in a matter of minutes and feed your to the dog. So I think thats going to be a big no

your trying to go all pioneer, i wanna try to go all alpine, but i cant seem to find a head unit by alpine that im looking for, i want it black face with red text but i cant seem to find anything like that anywhere, i want all the light like the buttons behine the knobs (if it applies) to be red... know what i mean? i cant find anything like it, i find some with red text but then they have like blue knobs (im not talking alpine) some alpines have buttons that you can change the color to red, but the text is in like black & white + the face is like a dark silver color :(

hm, car had alpine head unit and the rear (sail panel) speakers replaced with.. .coaxial? alpines. Bought 2 alpine 10" subs (in enclosures with overkill wiring and a bazooka amp) for 35 bucks from a friend

The only non-alpines are the (still crappy stock delco :() front (door) speakers

i have the same head unit as john... but i went with kenwoods for the speakers...

How does your Head unit sound with the speakers?. I am a little concerned now that the head unit might not be powerful enough for the speakers I ordered and now I may buy a small 4 channel for the front door speakers and rear side panels. Like a like a 400 watt amp (Pioneer but ofcourse) with 50 watt nominals for each channel

I can't resist trying to get the subject changed so here goes, I wanted to get all of my tires on the camaro today so I attached one of the calipers without any break pads. There's a reason for this....I stepped on the brake while it was off, intentionally, just that I didn't know what I was doing.

I first tried to bleed my brakes but the screw snapped in half, my dad picked up where I left off by drilling through it, which didn't work so now I have no good brakes. But wait there's more. I wanted to wash the car off so I backed it out of the garage and I started rolling faster than I'd like to, my only option, to yank up on the handbrake like I was stopping a train, and yes, it was just like that. We both avoided any crashes but it was still a thrill to drive a car without braking. Next time, I'm pushing it.

i not a big system guy like i've told you, it sounds good to me, but i only have 4 speakers... my buddy works at circuit city, and he told me that i get a little distortion when the volume is really high... but i honestly can't tell... but i don't have an amp or subs or anything

Yeah, the speakers I bought are rated at handling nominal power (AKA continous power) of up to 50 watts and max of 260 watts but our head unit only puts out 17 watts continous power and max of 35 per channel which can cause distortion as well from under powering the speaker. I don't know, I have to think about this one now that I have everything . I think I do need a tiny amp.

Seriously, put a small amp on those speakers, (I am a fan of Profile stuff, put out rated power and are cheap and decent quality). As long as you set the gains correctly, you will get alot better sound outa them cause if you turn them up just hooked up to the h/u it will start clipping, so it will sound distorted.

I crave more power so I'm debating whether I should take what I had in my truck, make a horn enclosure for the sub, couple plate amps, my components and make somethin to get some serious noise complains in the dorm with.

when I pushed in the brake, the caliper compressed and it's so rusted that I couldn't bleed it. So the only way I could get it back on was without a break pad.

john i have 2 rockford 6x9 3 way speakers with speaker wires and a box... pst me if ur interest. speakers havent been used. or taken out of the box.

Actually I just ordered the front set last night. Now I have all my speakers and my 2 subs but thanks fr letting me know Matt. I will keep that in mind if I hear of anyone in need.

Hey John how many watts does the amp you're getting going to have? Also what did you mean that your previous one caused your car to explode?

And the replacement I am hoping to get is a 4 channel gm-6150F which is 600 Watts but delivers the same power as the prior amp when bridged for use as a 2 channel amp which will be 150 continous watts and 300 peak watts per 12 inch sub.

hmmm, well i got pulled over today, driving like an idiot, i feel kinda lucky that i didnt get the ticket, the cop told me he could give me a ticket for reckless driving and that its 5 points.

i still cant believe i didnt get a ticket, all you ever hear about them, is how mean and rotten they are, but he was ok i guess, he clearly sounded mad but he just gave me a verbal warning.

I would have definetly given you a ticket and then beaten you to death with it, So by comparison he was a nice guy.

it wasnt empty... well it wasnt full either, but ya know... i got off from work i went to my car i put it in reverse (looked in all directions i seen some lights but they wasnt moving so i floored it... then i stoped put it in drive and floored it some more.. i got on the back stretch and i look in my rearview and i see this big ass white suv turn on to the back stretch from the same place i came from i knew right then and there that the lights that wasnt moving was a cop and now hes gonna pull me over... waited untill i got on the high way before he pulled me over.


btw i park in such a remote area to where i work, that me running someone over or ever crashing into someone's car is very slim, i do see lights often (where that cop was), but they are usually the tractor trailers getting ready to dock and unload product to the store.

it was in bordentown township, i do however think he was examining my license place cover and was prob thinking about giving me a ticket for it, he had his flash light out and i donno at first i thought he droped something or something and it was weird, its only a slightly smoked cover, you cant even tell during the day or at night (when my lights are on) you can only tell its got a slight smoke tint to it if its night time and my lights are off or if i remove it from the car. its weird tho, i didnt even think about the license plate cover untill i got home...

btw, i didnt even know all the info he said, he asked me for licnse, regirstration, and insurance, i gave him my license, insurace card, and i said i donno what the registeration car looks like, and he looked at me like are f-ing kidding me, then he shined his light on my papers and said its a white and red and i moved a peiceo f paper and he said thats it, (it said "Regerstration Card" in bold letters to :S

State Troopers: Will let you go for almost anything that involves them going to court, they just give you warnings.

North Richland Hills Cops (They're very near me and I go there everyday): Pretty nice, respectful guys, but if you give them any crap they will give you a ticket and any other tickets that they can at the moment.

Richland Hills Cops (Where I live): Total dicks, except for 1 cop that I know. The rest.. total assholes who will try anything to give you a ticket and always act like something is up their ass 24/7, and more than half of these guys are racist, im being serious here.
