I played just today 1hr 30 or so mins of Donkey Kong Country 2 .... and Ive already gotten to the 4th stage with like the theme park and bee honey combs ... I love this game.. never beaten it (long story) but I have reached the very last level before... and Im having fun playing it all over again :rofl: ... but at the moment im just pooped out of it .. only died 3 times....

Playing that game comes naturally to me so I hardly make mistakes from playing so long ago for a long time =D

I just recieved my HVAC, Fog, and shift pieces from that customautoaccent place... took a while but I got em .... and these pieces are pretty eh Custom lol ... Next I'll get the door handle parts that is screwed to the door, and the lock/window button plates.

I picked up 2 blu led light sets w/6 each last weekend when I was in KY. One set goes into the dome light, and the other in the doorhandles and one in each floor board.

I'll remove the long bulb in the dome, and attach the wires inside. Probly hav to cut a small piece of plexi glass(w/holes) to mount the LEDs .

So I went blu inside , hav most of the parts painted and installed. I need to remove the console so I can paint the top part, that way it matches the front bezel around the radio. And I'll paint the part that holds the dome lights, and those two coat hooks in back, then I'll be done with blu.


Heres some more pics of the "jerry rigin" I had to do to mount those 6" round speakers. Used thick cardboard(insted of wood). Had to space the speaker forward so it didnt touch the track for the window. THose stock speakers are SHIT !!

the blu tape just held the ring on while the epoxy dried, so I left in on. THree screws hold the ring and speaker.

Did hav some issues with the door speakers too. The conectors kept coming undone, took me a time or two to figure out, but when I rolled the windows down it would catch the wires and unplug them :banghead: Gott that fixed :thumbsup: just pulled out the wire slack and taped them up outta the way :) all good now !

About the blu colour, I think it stands out to much.
Shit loads of people seen it over this week end, and thought it was badass! Want me to do thier interiors now :shakehead:

OK, I found an easy way to remove them.....

Use a straight slot screwdrivr, and insert it around the outside of those rings that hold it in.

Pull on the center vent fins, then just work the screwdrivr around the three clips that hold it in, gently prying, and it'll pop right out :)
Way easier then trying to unclip them from inside, that takes forevr.

Cold air is working nicely, was a bit of a task setting it by myself but I got it... nice to hear that thing chirp .. and wow .. the engine loves it... the DHP PCM is working smoothly as well and I havent had anymore trans problems as of late ... but new problem I guess you could say is I need new brakes... think ive already told u about this one lol . just screeeams when I do left long turns riding or if I press really hard on the brakes ..... it'll start making a screetch in the back but ill pump the brakes and it stops for some time..

The New 2007 Pontiac G5, I liked the G6 but it was a little to pricey and big for me.

It looks like a cobalt chassis, but with a better pontiac reinforced build (we all know pontiac builds more solid cars than chevy for whatever reason) and a new front and reaf facia.

It has the same 2.4 Litre Ecotec as the cobalt, and is also just a coupe as of right now.

This just means we can take the same products built for the cobalt and use them on a new pontiac g5.

Also has 4 Disc ABS Brakes, Optional Sunroof and subwoofer, Leather appointed areas inside, and 16-17" wheels, rear spoiler, foglamps, and some other things i cant recall at the moment.

Today was to hot to clear coat anything . Overspray city :banghead: !!
Its been 100 degreezz all day, in the shade it was(and still is) 96 !

Had to do them with a brush, that was tricky, keeping paint off the white patch that shines the light through.

Hey guys, just popping in to see what I have missed.

I think i saw one of the new G5's the other day at the pontiac dealer that i pass on my way home from work. I'm pretty sure it was a G5 since it looked like a colbalt with a pontiac front fascia. It didn't look bad though... from a distance! I wanted to get up close to see it but it's already gone off the lot. I feel the G5 is more of a replacement to the sunbird/fire and the g6 well obvious replaces the grand am. Gir I would go with the G6, it's a ton of fun to drive for the couple i test drove, i was impressed! Definetly stay with the GTP though, the GT reminds me of the GA on the engine and pick-up.

Xi: the green vents are coming out nice... is that the exact color of the car or a close match? Either way it's lookin good, post some pics of it installled when you get it done.

I finished up on a few parts today.
Had to redo the ac knobs, the silver reacted with the coating on the knobs and would not dry :banghead:

I did want to say that I let the color(4-5 thin coats) dry 4-5hrs then hit with clear(4-5 thin coats).
Then Let them dry another 8-10 hrs before I even thought about touching or installing.

Live and learn :)

I to like the G6 but I still havent seen any G5s around the stealerships. Was thinking about test driving a G6 to see how they perform.

The color I am putting on now is Huntergreen, which is close to the cars color which is that Mantra grn which is metalic.
When I get it all put back together I'll post some pics.

You can see the knobs on the AC are shiny, if I'd had enough body color I would hav used it, but this looks great to me!
Even done the defrost vent, I wouldnt recomend it though. Broke two of them during removal :banghead: Luckily the paints holding this one together.

That kid doing the ebrake is STUPID ! Thaat ebrake will break oneday, and he'll wipe out a few parked cars or someone.

I hav done some rear sliding, but its always outa town on some deserted road that are like racetracks :) taking 30mph corners @ 40-60mph(no ebrake) just to see what it takes for my goodyears to actually slide out. But in the city, thats unheard of :grinyes:

found out that rammstein had an album come out a while ago and I didnt get to grab it =| .... now its hard to find anywhere on the internet. (Rosenrot is the album)
