Ok, I would love to head to Jersey, I haven't been over there since about 96/97, went over there for a work seminar, I was in Saddlebrook is that close to you grf? I so have to ask...How did you get stuck on ice in the middle of a parking lot?

XI: when you play a game using a stationary object like a pole, I would have to put my $$$ on the pole, it will win. I wasn't even playing one time back in the winter of 86...brand new 86 GMC 1/2 ton 4X4 short bed, that was my first real "Baby" ride, anyway we got a snow stoe on Christmas Eve I was dropping off my sweetie, walked her up to the house went in for less than a minute, came back out to find the truck slid down the hill and into the pole. I was peeved. I only had the the truck for a few months. I'll try to dig up some pics and post them.

Well, gotta help gettin the kids ready for school.

Dan: I'm sure Jersey has changed a quite a bit since you've been here last. Saddlebrook, is about a half hour north of me or about 15-20 miles. I got stuck on ice, since our parking lot is downhill when you pull in, and everything goes down hill to the road areas and most of the parking spaces you have to go uphill, and after the melting of snow and being cold in the am all you have is a nice sheet of ice everywhere. So after i over shot the parking space ( slid) i was sort of stuck for a moment or two trying to move...

XI: For what ever reason i seem to be the target to get hit or have shit happen, normally when i'm hurting for money.... The other car in my sign, is a photoshopped pic i did, it's a cross between an alero and a regal, I was going for a modern Buick Grand National look, not sure if I completely succeeded on it though....

Better go for now, I'm a VAN DRIVER THIS MORNING, WATCH OUT! hahahah

Xi: Oh.... I'm sorry.... I'll slow down, :naughty: MUHAHAHAHHAH....
You like my photoshoped car, My original intent was to make a new car each week and post it... well as you can tell that doesn't happen. But it doesn't take much more then a couple hours AT MOST to do one. I just have to sit my lazy ass down and do one. I think the next car maybe a G6 coupe modified. The yellow rims look good in the pic, but it would look a little uncle bens if you did it in real life.... unless it was complete tricked out for the track.... then you could get away with it. I would love to either get some nice black/graphite rims or some darker chrome i believe rims, I saw a g/a in a pic with it and it looked hot as hell... I know that my g/a will never see this... but i can dream.

If I lowerd My GA, I just might hit it with some yello stripes and go for the rims too. You dont see to many yello accesories, everythings red and blk and a few blu Civics
I hav another set of rims to waste , and I hav a friend who works at a Vynl shop, so the stripes would be removable just in case.

I'm gonna have to start playing with photoshop and my GAGT.

grfnkl: I just had a thought, with all of your mishaps...you could use photoshop to go ahead and see how the GA will look if it didn't have and bruises. JK. Is Photoshop hard to work with I have it but have not installed it yet, I've heard the it is hard to work with.

Hey as for XI's comment about you slowing down he only said it because he cares..........................cares for Grand Am's. I think he is going to start his own group... P.E.T.G.A

People for the Ethical Treatment of Grand AM's

XI: just having som fun at your expense, Nothing personal. You know? I've been fortunate with my GAGT, I have had only one incident that caused bent metal. I tagged a nice size 6 point, he was crossing the road just as it got dark out, he jumped over the hood but his ass came down on the left front fender, I looked like he just took a seat for a second. His butt put a dent about the size of a softball at the point where the fender rolls over from the top to down the side, I was able to work most of it out. i told the boy that when he takes over the car I would give him a hand getting it smoothed out so he can work on painting it the color he wants.

That is my only mishap (knock, knock, knock)

Gotta run, Catch ya tomarrow,

Ok, what the hell is with this weather? Yesterday we hit 60+ degrees, overnight it was in the upper 40's. Nwo this morning at 4:00am it started to climb until about 6:00 and topped off around 50 degrees, then all of a sudden the temps started to fall and the wind picked up to gusts at 45 to 50ph and some big boosts at 60mph. And by later in the afternoon we are supposed to get snow showers and flurries. man this sucks! For what it's worth this is killing the foot.
I really want to start working on detailing the cars to ger rid of the winterr road crust. I guess I going to have to wait a while, I don't want to spend 8 to 10 + hours on each just to have a bunch of smow blow in and mess them up again.

I came back from putting some movies up *Blockbuster* And like a huge dust storm came up out of nowhere ... it was so much that you couldnt see out 20ft... reminded me of that movie remake 'The Fog' ... my manager came up from the back room and was like what the hell?? .. told em... Its the fog movie man... those silly butt pirates are out there.... always out for meh booty....

Before the wind picked up.. it was warm and muggy like a warm summer night almost.. boom temp dropped a good 20F and was starting to be chilly.. and today its gusting and 40F-ish outside  grrr coldness sucks.. cept for the car.. went out to lunch and came back passing the school cop and he walked up to my car and asked if my glasspack was street legal .. pfft... its not THAT loud.. jackass.

Maybe it is some mad scientist sitting in a lab somewhere controlling the climate. Too man weird things going on this year, hurricanes, tsunammi's warm where is should be cold. Or it's a government plot to get us to ude more energy, so they can play with the pricing, but as usual the job doesn't get done the way it sould. Just Kidding!

XI: You shouldn't be Toke'n and Torque'n you will end up as litter along the roadside. Then you will have the community groups come by and try and squeeze the GA into a black trash bag, you don't want the life of the GA to end that way! But you could sponsor that portion of the highway and get one of the "adopt a Highway" signs:

Photoshop isn't hard to work with, but then again I've been working with photoshop for close to 10 years.... so to me it's nothing. I have at times used it to "touch up " my car. To bad i couldn't hit the save button and have my car actually fix itself, DAMN THE SLOW TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENTS!

I would so join the P.E.T.G.A., i would probably get put into an intervention for bad treatment of my g/a LOL...

The weather is all sorts of screwed up, We went from having 2 feet of snow, to none... And after Dan said the weather got all crazy out by him about 2 hours later it hit by me. It went from Warm and drizzling, to slightly sunny, to a wind gust of 60 mph and down pouring to sunny and dry in a matter of an hour. crazy absolutely crazy! The temp didn't drop until later at night, but now our high is only supposed to be 25 considering it was close to 60 yesterday... AND IT's SNOWING TODAY, with a possibility of a coating...:shakehead

I have come to discover that Ride is so SO SOOOO! busy that he would not be able to tell you if it was sunny or snowing, Hell it could be raining upwards and I don't think he would have the time to look at it. Too bad for him...I have told him to make sure he gets some "Ride Time" for himself, he is too young to burn out. But I do know his type, he will bust ass and he will reap the rewards down the road, and a guy that puts that much into it deserves to come out on top. I was that kind a few years ago and the company I was with had the potential and I woould have been into at least 6 figures, but due to over zelous management the Co. hit the skids due to out side greed and I get screwed. So here I am on disability, Making fixed income. So there for I have tried to make Ride know that you got to take the time for yourself. I think he will understand what I'm trying to say.

XI: isn't something that the pain meds are supposed to take care of the pain but soon after taking them they don't seem to do anything. And by time the DR's finally hear what your saying it's too late. I know of several people that have been forced to look for alternative pharmaceuticals only because their scripts don't work. It is too bad that they have to put them sevles in such a risky position.

I guess I have been lucky, the meds I'm on seem to work pretty well with the exception of the temp flex. I just start to ache real bad and then it turns to pain but when the weather levels out I am ok again.

Any way as for the weather today... Mostly sunny temps in the mid 30's calling for the same tomarrow temps may get into mid 40's but I am not holding my breath.

Hell the best way to put in a work week is one that seems to just get started and efore you realize it's Friday. The only problem with that is once you stop and realize that you just pissed away a week of your life and got absolutly nothing to show for it.
The worst part about my situation was that I worked for the wife's family and one of the uncles was directly responsible for the down fall that nailed my father in law as well. So we were both S.O.L.

Well, gotta run have to help one of the kids with the homework, Catch you later,

It's the best when the work week goes by quick, but for me it's a bit different. Up until last week I was working on a part time basis due to "lack of funds" so hours were cut, so 3 days a week I worked m-w. Not a bad gig until bills come in from christmas... Now they have been putting me on F/T M-f and the adjustment has been a little tough. My routine of sleeping in for four days has been disrupted... I try not to think about how much time is wasted by me standing for 8 hours staring into an empty lobby area, it can get quite depressing.

dan: not to pry into personal things, but doesn't your situation make it a little akward at family events?

Gar: Things can get very uncomfortable, especially since the uncle that is responsible is still doing business. You see the situation is a little complicated. My father-in-law and I worked for the manufacturer entity, we were responsible for overseeing the production of our products by contracted manufacturers. The My father-in-law, the Uncle and another Uncle(he's cool, not really involved), owned the company I worked for. but the Uncle and Cool Uncle had distributorships that sold our products, while they ran our company. After the fall the Uncle kept his distributorship running and went right to our mfg'ers and is still doing business. Even though my father-in-law and I got shafted, it hasn't been that bad, my father-in-law went on social security (retirement age) and I ended up on disability for the foot condition, at least we both have an income. But the uncle is still out there buying the big toys, big motor home (about $168,000.00) new rides has a Chrysler 300, and a Magum (all the toy's under ihs company's name leases and such). this stuff really pisses of my wife it was her family and her husband and father both got BF'ed. But we are bigger people, we go the the family functions when we have to and we put on the schareade. But it is tough.
That's kinda it in a nut shell, life goes on my wife and I figure that there is no sense in dwelling on it, nothing is going to change.

On to your empty lobby problem...You need to get your bosses to sponsor the 1st annual P.E.T.G.A. meeting, you could get the ballroom filled with vendors for car care products, and car accessories all geared to our GA's. And as for the food, we'll have to work on that. You could have them serve stuff like ...the Ridenour Rib-Eye, the Xeroinfinity bufet bar...never ending of course, you get the picture.

Hey...it's just an idea.

Well I've taken up enough of your time...Although it sounds like you have plenty of it.

dan: I can see how things can be very uncomfortable, I wouldnt really want to be in that situation or wish that upon anyone. On the bright side as you stated that both you and your father in law have some type of income despite everything... I do like the P.E.T.G.A. meeting, and i can get a pretty good deal on teh something like that... but right now they are doing renovations on the main ballroom, which i have no clue when it will be complete. When I worked at a hilton and they hosted a Mini Cooper meeting... that was pretty cool. Nothing like a lot full of mini's. plus we did business with a local auto auction, so we saw a lot of top end cars.. I had a guest ask me where it was safe to park his $150,000 ferrari, my response was "my garage" HAHAH Can't blame a guy for tryin.

Xi: I;m not really sure what sleep is anymore... I really haven't achieved that in a while. I finally took a look at the arcade.... no more boredum for me! :naughty:

And the P.E.T.G.A. program, its sounding better everyday:)

Down sizing has been the thing since the late 80's with Reaganomics. He started the whole damn temp service scam and sent OUR JOBS to all those third world countries.
Ya Manpower may get you jobs, low paying with no benifits and thats IF they got you full time work.

Sorry that touched a cord for me. I was in highscholl woking for a temp service, haha~! I told them I was 18 and worked in all sorts of factories, with the promiss everyday that they would hire you full time , "next time round" or "soon!".

XI: You didnt leave me out of anything, The thing about the temp agencies is that you can get a temp that starts the job on Monday and then by time they are coming around to the way you operate the agency yanks them and throws someone that they pay less at you and you have to start all over again. I used a temp once, I got lucky they sent one that was from our area and I was able to steal her away. Good lookin young thing WOW! she was with us for about 6 months when she asked for a 3 day week end, I figured no biggy, she was a hard worker, she called off the following Monday...Came in on Tuesday...I thought that the wrong girl came in ( Maybe the Pops-in-law hired someone else?) nope ot was her. She must have taken her pay checks and saved them...she invested in a new set of bOObs. 18 years old, and it wasn't like she had a bad rack to begin with. I just don't understand how these { kids }(yes I said kids can do that stuff at such a young age and now I understand that 12 and 13 year olds are asking for implants...That's nuts) If you want to do that I think you should have to be at least 21 yrs. At least drinking age in most if not all states.

Sorry I don't know how we got from tem agencys to implants...wierd huh!

Any way weather supposed to be nice today mid 40's with mostly sunny skies, temp goes up my foot pain goes up...temps go down foot pain goes up, Don't get that either. What are ya gonna do?

And No comments about "Temps going down" by reffering to my above comments!

It's 4:00am and I need more coffee, had 2 big cups already still not fully awake.

I test drove the the G6 GTP today... it's pretty sweet. Very Quick, makes my g/a feel damn sluggish... oh wait it is... LOL. I drove the auto w/ sticktronic, since the dealer didn't have any mannys on the lot. It was a bit over priced though for my liking, but that's a dealer marking it up for ya. If i can get a good deal, it maybe my next car. The cool and frustrating part is that they "order" the car, so they can order one exactly the way i want it... but i wonder if that will cost extra in the end.

The whole economy and jobs can piss anyone off now a day. I feel everyone is struggling to survive. The way i look at it I'm gonna enjoy things as much as i can now because who knows where i will be down the road. All the interviews i've gone on nothing will match what i make now, which makes it very disappointing.

Well I better go get somethings done on my day off.... I'm letting the g/a cool off so i can add tranny fluid... :banghead:

Hoags
02-23-2006, 10:33 PM
Grf: The only reason the car would be more in the long run would come down to the bells and whistles that you add during the build up. There are advantages to ordering a car. If it is a new model run and the dealer is getting sticker plus, you can order it and when the price is totaled up the dealer can't hit you with the "plus" crap (at least they shoulden't some may try) the draw back could be that by time the car comes in the dealers are no longer asking window plus. It can be kind of a coin toss.

Catch you guys tomarrow,

To just test drive a car dont you just give some information and a copy of ur license? ... Id love to goto my pontiac dealership lot and just pick out one lucky winner to be test driven.

Hoags
02-24-2006, 04:14 AM
Gir: Most dealerships do require a copy of a DL, It is done for saveral reasons. First to make sure that the driver is legal, second to protect the salesman (When we had a shady looking character the Manager would hold on the the actual DL until the test drive is done) less chance of a jacking. And they also do it to have a name and address to start pestering the shit out of them to buy.

I always hated it when Pontiac brought out a new power ride, We always had the idiots come out of the wood work, I had thrown quit a few out of my sales office. I never cared about taking someone for a ride but I drally used to get peeved when some 17/18 yr old would come in after school and want to test drive the TA's with the ram air, they would say that Daddy was going to buy them one for graduation. If we weren't busy I'd take them out and scare the crap out of them, Those cars would run! The guys I hated the most were the race care driver wanna be's. They were the kind that would come in on Saturday (the busiest sales day of the week) and they would get pissed if no one would take the for a ride knowing full well that they were not going to buy. Don't get me wrong,,,guys like us the, real car guys I never minded taking them out because most of them would ask if it was a bad time, If I said it was they would either wait untill someone was free or just come back later.

Well, the damn weather is starting to change here today, closer to 50 yestersay maybe 35 today and just conitnuing to get colder thru Sunday, what a PITA.

All they asked from me was a DL. but then agian they had some info on me since i requested a quote on the car so it made it that much faster and easier so they wouldn't bug me as much.

Dan: Even with all the bells and whistles the price was higher then what gm had and what i found on the internet. I guess it gives room for the number game which i hate with a passion. the dealer i went to has a bad reputation for over charging anyways, The guy told me it was $200 for title and tags... when al you should pay is the actual MV costs which is 50-75$'s. If this car is for me I'll negotiate with a different dealer(s).

Hrmm... Police Radar Detectors.

I saw some sorta Cobra one for around $100 at the wal-of-mart while waiting for my oil to be changed... just recently switched to synthetic, Mobil 1 synthetic Extended Performance 5W-30 .. Any Good?... $39 or so (Give me thoughts and opinions on that, I have 152k+ miles on my GA, I would guess now is a good time to switch =p) Only thing Ive noticed is the engine seems to run a bit smoother...

But yea, just been searching around for a radar detector... I saw this one in a magazine.. Valentine 1 ? .. has arrows showing where they're located (interesting) .. and gives a bogey count (cool) .. price? Not so cool, in the mag they said around $400 ... and I would get the piece that lets you locate the screen elsewhere ... another $40 or so =o

grfnkl- I hav a few friends who either own or work at stealerships and it ALL marked way the F**** up. Like your GA for instince, you trade it in they will giv you 'maybe' $4k, they instantly double that for the resale.

Some Dealershits wont come down in price, some real pricks! We all know they dont pay anywhere close to that sticker price, is all about the Benjamins .

Hey Gir, those Cobras are really good for the price. You can find them cheap at Pawn shops(stolen), they are easily picked up. You do hav to learn whats what, like microwaves screw with them, alarms on buisnesses set off( false alarms)

The expensive one with the read outs are supernice because they acually tell you whats the signal, and how far, and some tell when abulances and police/fire rescue trucks/cars are near. Some states they are eliegal and cops will throw them away for you :( But the one with the safty info system are usually ignored because they are a "safty" device ;) Always someone with a go around

Mobil 1 synthetics Good oil. I myself use Castrol GTX synth, though I still change the oil @ 4000 miles.

I hav seen newr cars that say Mobil 1 right on hte oil fill cap, so they are using synth right from the factory. I havnt noticed any mpg increase or decrease.
With regular oil, my Mpg would drop the closer I got to the next oil change. With synth I dont hav that drop.

Gir: I have a cobra Radar detector... and it still works it's about 5 years old. They are good for the money. The Valentine from what i heard is pretty good, There is one other that works extemely well thats made by Bel electronics. They can be very pricey but they have alot of good features.

Xi: I know that the dealer's "stealershits" have a tendancy to rip people off. They salivate over my G/a when i pull in since they know they can resale it very quickly for more money... I don't play that game though! If i do go for one though, i'm gonna try to get as close to invoice as i can,so at least they are not making as much money off of me.

later guys,

I have some great luck. Today i discovered a nice large pool of antifreeze and oil under my car to find out that i blew my intake manifold, and it was leaking out of 3 sides! LUCKY FRIGGEN ME! LOL. I've already been quote about $600+/- for the repair, is this decent?

Gir, I hav th same Cobra trapshooter I bought in 89'. Still works great. I just wire it up direct to a key'd power so when I started the car its on! Probly gonna put it back in the GA by spring, freakin cops everywhere these days.

Grfnkl- thats not a bad Quote, $600's about what I'd charge, hell the gaskets are probly close to $180 then you usual "shop fees" new fluids, etc etc.

At least you caght it quick. I've seen/heard of people driving with coolant in the oil for months, you should see thier lovly bearings :)
BTW- get that quote in writing if you think they're going to stiff ya.

That webpage is a link to a video, of a sunfire, converted into a firebird? I think...

It looks very small for a firebird... I think its flippin sweet lol

Well I let it load up for ever, and never got anything...

But I could see a Firebird body kit cut up to fit a Sunfire. ...
I'll try it again at a diff time, maybe thier was to many people trying to check it out at once..

Hey I was meaning to ask you if you get to watch all kinds of movies, since you work at BlockBuster?
I watch to many movies! Lol! I usually see 3-4 a week, I think I hav seen everything from the 60s-now. Thats alot of movies, getting sick of all these Re-makes, though some hav turned out far better than the original, like the Fog, its almost Exactly the same script and everything as the original.
But the special effects made it kick ass!(sorry kids), in a few years thier isnt even going to be any actors, just a script and a bunch of Geeks with thier Apples and Doritos, ~pow!~ 6 months they hav a movie.

Later guys!

yea, I get 5 free rentals a week... but I just now got that privlage back... due to poor store performance... I havent been able to rent movies since beginning of Nov. ... just brought home.. 'Way of the Gun' & 'Bio-Dome' .. dont know why, but I gotta watch something lol...

What would be the size of the air vent in a 99' GASE ? 2inches ? Or around that...

Was wondering, soon after I finally grab the CAI, I just want a toy to play with lol, Ill get the A/F Pigtail from pfyc.com and was wondering of installing a gauge in the vent to the driver's right

O Steering Wheel OOO O

Let me know, I dont really want a mount on the dash or extra effort for a pillar =/

poor store performance? Maybe you need a tune up, or maybe A CAI upgrade :lol2:
~Sorry I had to say it!~
5 movies a week and a pay check!?! Wow! whats this world coming to... I know I hav seen 90-95% of the movies BB carries. Skiped most of those "chick Flicks" , though hav had to sit through a few from time to time.

On the vent pretty sure its 3', but not sure.
If you do use the vent, you might want to block off the air so it doesnt kook or freeze the gauge you install.
That pig tail is too pricy for me, though I think thier 62mm TB are cheapest right now.
Hell I might just take one I hav and ream it out, I could probley evn go biger then 62mm, flood those cylinders! Lol

on pfyc.com the ecu from DHP is only $99 + $100 core charge... I might take advantage of this if the price holds out for a while...

gir: 5 free movies isn't a bad deal! I wouldn't mind that, then my broke ass would save a couple bucks...LOL I don't understand how they can say it had Poor store performance. It's not a sales driven outlet, if people want to rent a movie they do if not then they don't come in... this is why i hated retail.

Gauge idea in the dash vents is a good idea, i think it would look good there, blends with the flow fo the dash.

My G/a is now fixed, only 1 day without it... not bad and only $570 later... but that included and oil change, antifreeze, gaskets etc... so i can't complain.

take it easy guys

I hav seen the vent gauged GA somewhere, think it was over on Cardomain. Liked you graphics Gir, with all the "o" Lol

Grfnkl- that was an alright deal! I guess the more some one changes those LIM you get to know the proceedure well and it goes quicker.
Most garges charge the full time on the books, I only charge the time it takes, on anything.
Over priced Stealershits think they are going to make a million selling/fixing, HA!

hehehe, you like my O's ? :iceslolan

I was to lazy to play in photoshop and host an image of some sort, so I used what I had :)

But for sure a A/F Gauge would go there....

There are some other gauges I saw on pfyc.com that plug into ur ODBII or w/e and reads tons of info... Id get the dual... have trans temp and w/e else useful but Iono if i'd take out another vent.. probly go with the 2 port pillar and buy each single guage in time =p .. they said that they can work together w/o interference :) horay ...

now I am off to art class.. what a stressful day, ya know.. playing with clay =p .. cant wait to get out of school..

ttyl

Edit: Writing this now that I am out of school for today and been thru art class playing with clay...
My crazy art teacher near the end of class was flipping out because my pot/vase thing had a hole in it of which I was going to fill in with like a handle of some sort to make a jug type of pot :) anyways... shes like... Nooooo Michael, you cant do that... Im not going to place that in the furnice.... crazy woman thought I was making a bong! LOLOLOL
What a day, just got done cleaning the inside of my car... need actual armor-all wipes, not old dry wipes that I put a little water on to dampen again lol ... assuming its not the same sorta protection lol....

Art class ey!
Ya I remember those day we made ash trays and bongs. THen the next year the rules got changed, I had no use for any of the crafty crap myself, but it was fun to leave air in the clay, :lol2:
Freakin blows up everyones stuff and pieces stick to each other. Glass is a nice medium for ceramics. melts great and looks realy kool after it cools down. Gets kinda cracky but stays in the container.

Art class is one thing I miss about school, oh ya and shop class woods or metals
My art teacher was kool! Looked like a hippy from the 60's , but 'no ashtrays' coming from a chain smokin freak like her just didnt cut it :) School! how I dont miss it really! Sorry about your luck Gir.

Crazy woman threw away my so called 'Bong'... what a B*tch :banghead:
So instead of another big vase, I made a shot glass looking type of vase.... guess I can pull it off as a mini vase... but its about the size of a 2" glass :)

Today when fooling around at my local mechanic shop... the guy pointed out that my power steering fluid is leaking... which it is :screwy: nuts... looks like its coming out of the top and just oozing down... and maybe also out from the side? ... I've noticed when I do full steering it sometimes struggles but I never really thought of it much... its not to bad, just noticeable *shrug*

HAHA! Shot glass, hope she dont catch that one too.

The power steering boxes do leak out the cap sometimes, but I'd get it taken care of before it goes totally out.
Hoses are crapy leaking machines when they are bad. Hoses are about $250 for both of them. the PS box is cheaper but still around $120 new(depending on where you live).

That is wierd, if you liv in different locals through out the USA parts and cars run different prices :screwy:
And parts are not always just parts:lol:

Its a scanner, like from knight rider or w/e lol.. kinda cool

Today's word is... 'Illegal'

il·le·gal - adj.
1. Prohibited by law.
2. Prohibited by official rules: an illegal pass in football.
3. Unacceptable to or not performable by a computer: an illegal operation.

art class was always so much fun, especially the clay fights... The memories.... the best is when you are creative enough to come up with something that the teacher thinks its something like a bong but it's really not, it's a watering pot for plants...LMAO  and what the teacher doesn't know won't hurt them!

I know someone who put one of those night rider light stipes on the front of their camaro or firebird can't remember... didn't last long until the word of the day came into play.

Art class was an easy "A" !

That scanner was kinda trippy` with the tunes.
why would that be illegal?

Looks like a damn UFO, would freak someone out flying down the highway at night.
You find some of the most f***ed up vids Gir-_-

illegal, because of the flashy-ness.. some idiot might think its a cop car  go figure... also has red/white/blue colors into it :p

In my area I know at least... u know those lights u stick on the hood for ur windshield things... for ur wipers... well.. they can only come in white or amber color =p .. how sucky is that.. but yet autozone sells em blue/green/red/white/amber and I think some other misc colors .. probly cyan and purple...

i am sure its supposed to be that way where I liv, but every night I see people driving with under car lighting and those wiper LEDs in a multitude of colours(none flashing though). You know the ones hanging out at the mall parking lots. Lol

I thought the trunk in that Scanner Vid was kool looking too, visually stimulating @ 1am :) Abd the song, think that was from Kill Bill, dont remember the name of the band......

Don't ever take art class in college though, you actually have to do work and prove what you did has a "meaning" behind it.. :screwy:

Some parts of NJ are really strict about the stuff you put on your car... or should i say depends on what town you drive through. those washer lights you could get pulled over for same thing with the euro lights as well reguardless of color and if you didn't get pulled over you will fail inspection. They are a bunch of asses here when it comes to things like this. Most of these lighting things you can add to your car, is no longer the "in" thing around here( all in time for the next new fad) The only thing i see everyone doing is the hyper white headlights.

yea, I dont plan on any underglow w/e in the future... Interior lighting is my concern, really to make the actual 'ride' in the car enjoyable... could care less if some1 thinks my car is pretty with colors :gay:

For now, LEDs, sometime in the future ill do custom... and maybe a custom LED light over the back seat,.. seen it done somewhere.. ill post the pic later.. its vurrryy noice! :bigthumb:

grfnkl, I took two years of nothing but art at Herron Art school (http://www.herron.iupui.edu/). HAd won 1yr scolarship and paid for the second. The suppies were more than tuition :banghead:
And you do hav a Curriculum that needs followed.
Always Gotta hav something to fall back on down the road, but I liked it. Now its part of IUPUI and cost twice as much to goto.

About all these lighting issues, actually around here, I think its who you know if you get harrased for you custom lights. I personally think they are a waste, just going to get broken anyway. Lol

I still havnt finished my interior lighting, started with the blu acsents in the window buttons(left the locks red), and some Leds shining down on the floorboard from the kick panels above where your legs are and those mirror lights/dome.
Used silicone Gels over the long bulbs and in the window buttons they work really damn well, nice solid colour with out being overly bright or intense.
One day I get me an extra dassh cluster and figure out how to change that EVIL orange glow!!
