Hey I did see those little engines. I think the one I saw was a V8! Maybe it was a 6..
About the size of a mower engine. Havnt looked into it, been busy this week. But I am going to check them out when I get the time.
From what I read I thought they were hand built, not a kit. But I could be wrong(wont be the first time).

Oh and your on your own with the beting of children, My luck I'd end up with them all too

XI: I looked a little further and there are 2 engines on that site one regular V8 and then I looked a bit more and came across one with a blower on it. I think you may be right about them being hand made but for some reason I can recall seeing an ad for working Mini V8/V6 gas engines in the back of Popular Mechanics or Popular Science magazines but that was a few years back. I may fire off an e-mail to Popular Mechanics and see if I get anywhere. I'll let you know. I did some searching last night and came across a link that was selling Mini Outboard Motors roughly sellinf foe $300.00 but the damn things were only 7 to 8 inches high. they were even selling a V8 head kit. They would be pretty cool too but I would rather screw around with a car type of V8. Just the teaching applications for something like that really make one think. Even if they are not available and those ones on the video site are hand made, there could be such a market for a production kit, Hell if it would be all miniture with some of the components combined it could still help to teach kids how to build an engine rather than going through the expense of the regular full size parts.

Shit...Running on!

I'll let you know if I come up with anything, please do the same.

Ya Dan the blower motor was the one I saw, but didnt see... The vids anyway.
Wonder if they'd work for large remote control cars/planes?
That would be Nuts! I hav seen larger scale planes with bigger engines/jets , somewhere a while back. Expensive as hell though.
Damn is this week over yet? :) Been bussy as hell, guess I shouldnt complain though....

XI: I think it would be cool to build a little replica muscle car and drop one of those in it. Those RC planes get real expensive, I'm looking into a Helicopter, something smaller maybe electric, just to try out the hobby, it is toooooo expensive to jump in with booth feet. My father and uncle were into it way back Like in the early 60's ( I was just a little baby then) but they would build these things from scratch, buy plans and then build, one that he buildt had over a 12 foot wing span, back then there was no styrofaom, those things were made of Balsa wood. I do not remember that period, but he would tell stories and show me the prop scars. He said that the transmitters and such were big and bulky. I really wish he was around foday to see the advancements. Like you said if you could drop one of those mini V8 into a plane like that, you could almost be big enough to lift a person.

Do me a favor and give me your opinion on the following: The wife went out the other morning and started the GA to warm it up, after about 10 mins she left for work. She called later to tell me the the CES light came on. The next day on her way home from work the light went out. There was no difference in the way the car ran, light on or light off. I am wondering if it could be exhaust gas related and once the pipes clear out it is fine...any opinions. I wanted to ask you before throwing it out as a new thread.

Thanks
Dan

Never though of a muscle car w/mini engines that would be sweeeet! I remember those balsa wood planes well. Spend a year, or more, building your Piper Cub(12ft wingspan) take it out and first flight.... BOOOM! right into the ground, and millions of pieces.

Ya, I used to build them planes when I was a kid(80's) and crashed every damn one! Lol THen in the late 80's they started makeing the foam wings and bodies. Thye were much more durable, but still they would get pretty torn up. At least they were cheaper than the ones today. I guess you can get a good plane for $100-110, a small electric w/radios at Hobby Lobby. Plastic great! lighter than balsa stronger than foam.

I wouldnt worry just yet on that Ces light. Something might hav happed at start up, like maybe a misfire or an O2 sensor, and it throws the code.
Then when she started it later, it seen their was no error so the light goes out.
If it stays on for longer periods(a day or two) run down to your local auto store that can pull the code for ya.
If it doesnt return, I would check the engine over just to make sure their isnt something visibly wrong(like a cat under the hood eating some road kill or the wiring, :) ).

Hey I didnt mention, I might be getting another ride. Went and looked at this 95' Z28 yestarday. Gonna go and make an offer here in a bit. Now that doesnt mean I'll be moving over to the Chevy board, though I do visit them from time to time. Its just another car I'd like to add to my collection of keepers.
Its dark green, Lt1, 91k mls, good luod after market radio, automatic(which i wish was manual so a certain someone couldnt drive it) reall good shape for a 95. They are asking $5k, but its set for months and no ones even offerd them anything, so I'm going for the $4500 range and see what they say. It is a gas hog, but its not like I hav to drive very far to work, and I'm sure the Z will be summer only driving(just to keep it safe).

Ever hav one of 'those days'? Saturday was the crapiest!
I did go to a Monster Jam later in the evening, that was kool!
But during the day, I was in the city it was nice and sunny, So I thought I'd wash the car at the carwash. One that has those plastic things flopping all over the car, well as it was wahing, pounding on the front glass, and all the sudden I hear this POP and my mirror falls off.
It f***ing broke my windsheild! (http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/xeroinfinity/SeCond%20Hand/brokenglass1.jpg)
Heres a close up (http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/xeroinfinity/SeCond%20Hand/brokenglass.jpg).

Ya and theirs a sign out front that say they arent responsible for damages, that figures! And to top that off I got stoped twice in less than an hour of each other.

The first was because I "took off to hard" or "to fast" when I turned right, what the hell is thaat? Tires didnt spin or squeel the at all. No ticket!

The second time it was for going 40 in a 30 when everyone else was going the same speed(about 36), I was just keeping up with traffic. Suprised hey didnt see I was just stoped 20 minutes ago. But he just gav me a verbal warning.
I hav never been that lucky before. :nono:

Jeez, I'm not able to get on the forums for 2 weeks, and it feels like i've been off for a month!

XI: sorry to hear about your g/a problems on saturday, that does suck. I've been through the nightmares at the car wash... it became an ongoing joke at one time for me, since i lost and emblem, and had a piece of body work come out (bondo). in the end i won though since one of the cleaning strips got caught on my door handle ripped off, and i drove around with it ( as a trophy) HAHAH plus it was wedged so deep I couldn't get it out. ( this was on my 88) the cop issue sounds like they were a little to bored or something... The worst is being in the wrong place at the wrong time though....

Well i better get going before the newbie sees what i do in my spare time...

I think the cops were out heavy because it was about 60 degrees out and they may hav heard me getting on it a little :) ....and just maybe I'm good with my pokerfaces

Definatly slowing down in town for a while, and looking twice for the policia at my next stop!.

I get the new glass tomarrow, its no big deal. I hav free glass coverage with my auto insurance too.

Ya grfnkl, the carwash has eaten my mirrors a couple times. They arent coming off again though.

I need to get my windsheild fixed as well, but i'm not sure if my insurance covers it or not, i really should call them. ( chunk missing out of my windhshield)

Anyways, I know a few of you have had the LIM leaks, before i start a new thread, I figured i would ask.... Where does a LIM leak normally form? I've searched high and low, I'm losing a very little amount of coolant, nothing ever on the ground, ( plus it doesn't help i'm parked on the grass) But i can smell coolant when i run my heat, when the temp gauge hits 150? any ideas or directions to look in?

XI: You know the cop thing happened becaues of your post last week when you were promoting your video...Unknown Forces at Work !!! And yes I have you beat on the cops thing, back in July, the locals had a trap set up on a road that is severly under marked, it is marked at 40 mph, I do not know of anyone going less then 55 to 60 mph. So he pulls me over just after I passed a truck oging up a hill, ( I was tought that when it comes to passing someone you shit and git, make your way around and pop back in) well he said I was doing 62mph (That was B/S) but while he had me stopped he asked for registration, wouldn't you know it the damn thing was not current, I bought it back in Feb. and the great commonwealth of PA sent the renewal papers for the trade-in, so we didn't send it because it would have come back with the info for the old vehicle. After that I figured that the dealership took care of the paper work...wrong, they used to but no longer. So he nails me for that, didn't even give me a break and tell me to get it registered and bring back proof. I had the thing taken care of in less than an hour and a half.

For those of you keeping score it's Cops 2-Dan screwed.

It gets better, later that day I had to take the kids to the eye doctor, as I am coming back from the appointment I hit a construction zone, nothing new for PA, have them just about every other block, In th emiddle of the zone is a traffic light. By now it's raining I'm in my daughter's car not used to the brakes, well as luck has it just as I get to the light it's yellow, rather than hitting the brakes and locking up on the wet pavement ( no ABS) I go thru the light, guess who was the second car waiting for their green light. You guessed it! the light came on my kids are in a panic Dad's going to jail 3 tickets in one day man they gotta lock you up. After I pull over calm the kids the cop walks up to the window, I give him the paper work ( just transfered from the previous owner that morning) tole him I was yanked in the morning and explained about the brakes, He went and checked the info came back and gave me a verbal. Man 3 in one day I'd have to give this driving thing a second thought. but to end uo with only two I decided to keep driving.

Any way I fought the tickets...got the speeding droped to 10 over and the magistrate threw out the registration thing, He told the cop that he should have given me time to get the oversite fixed...boy you could see the cop getting pissed as he was told how to do his job.

now when I drive through those areas I really watch the lights and speed, I do not want to go through that shit again.

Final score. Cops- 1 speeding ticket for 10 mph over
1 Embarrased &Pissed Off Cop for being told his job.
Dan- 2 points on the license $100.00 plus from the wallet.

It's a Draw...No clear winner.

Sorry I ran on,

quick question...
Does the ETS system also kill HP if you're WOT and the computer switches at a high rev? ... Just curious... thought it was only for 'traction' but I noticed a little difference when I decided to switch it off.

let meh know! :D later

Hoags
01-31-2006, 03:46 PM
Should not effect it at all, it only activates when the sensors pick-up wheel spin, at that the traction control works through the ABS system by applying the brakes to the spinning wheel via brake pulses. So when your driving ther should not be any traction control activity.

Gir-_-
01-31-2006, 03:49 PM
then whats the over-rev all about...
Ill be going full WOT, and it'll switch to the next gear from a high rev and its like it trys to slow the car down, or am I pushing it that hard lol

01-31-2006, 05:46 PM
Damn Dan thats a good one!~ you beat me their :)
In indiana on constructions areas, if you dont slow down to 40 or less and a cop clocks you, Youre screwd! Its like 5-6 points and I think 180 day license suspension, big ass fine too.
And I probley did invoke this upon my self, seeing how I had just been bragging about not geting stoped in a while. And I should hav put in that 0-90 somewhere that it was, um, er, on a closed track?! YA!

traction control keeps the wheels from spining by governing the engines(cuting power)rpms.

If I turn my ETS off, I hav not rev limit, it'll let you peg out all the way off the scale(which I dont recomend).
Also if your cars moving above 30mph, it'll break traction.

But I hav modified my SE w/GT chip to where it isnt even a gt anymore. My buddies know alittle about the code used(close to Java) and we just experamented on my car because I'm an idiot and like to take risks!

Gir I'll try and get hold of another 0-90, but with the ets off. Its a BIG difference than the one I had posted before with traction contr on.

XI: I beg to differ with you about the trac control. On a front wheel drive if the right wheel is spinning how does the engine know which is spinning and next how does it transfer via the trans axle? When the trac is on the ABS senses wheel spin, it will pulsate that brake to allow minimal spin, if you floor it the rev limiter then kicks in to stop the high revs so no blown motor. Had training on this when I sold GA's Sorry!

I beg to differ with you about the trac control. On a front wheel drive if the right wheel is spinning how does the engine know which is spinning and next how does it transfer via the trans axle?

It knows via the wheel speed sensor because the trans told it so. then the pcm tells the ecm to govern rpms....

When the trac is on the ABS senses wheel spin, it will pulsate that brake to allow minimal spin, if you floor it the rev limiter then kicks in to stop the high revs so no blown motor

When my tires break traction with ETS on, I dont think its the brakes being applied by the car, its just the transmision controling the slip and engine because the WSS detects spin.
ABS is usually only a factor when braking. and the hydrolic modulator motor(under the battery) controls brake line pressure to keep the car straight when the car is sliding/skiding during braking.

And I could blow my engine up with my Ets off. It'll spin 6500rpms, if you let it rev that high, till the tires pop. Remember though my GAs a 'little modified' via the cpu and pcm ~override~. thats also how I hav a high flow cat with no SES light ;)

XI: Check out this link It will explain what I am saying about Traction control and the ABS system:

http://www.edmunds.com/ownership/safety/articles/46352/article.html

It ties the ABS and throttle position sensor, thus preventing spin, some older systems used to retard the spark, but now it is ABS and as this link states it's like ABS in reverse.

The Trac Control does limit engine rev so that you do not blow the engine trying to spin your way out, but with the ETS off you can over rev the thing if you want.

Check out the link it will clear up the ABS Trac Control thing.

XI: I just browsed the threads and saw your reply about "Wiring Problems" I agree about the fog light issue, in fact I have replaced the right bulb 2 to 1, Every time I change the bulb it fires up, but you say you think it's a ground issue? have you moved your ground strap/wire? If so where did you move it to? If that will help me from blowing out bulbs I'll move the ground line.

Next, have you noticed all of the threads about #2 cyl and coolant getting in? I thought I had to worry about heads cracking, I sounds like a head issue again. Have you heard if it has been a gasket or has it been heads. I know several people with newer GA" (2000 and newer) and I know that they are going to start asking me what the issue is. They know I used to sell them so that makes me a mechanic as well. The 2000 where just starting production when I quit selling, I had some sales trainng on themm but that was it. So now these guys think that I should be able to tell them what is going on, it gets old after a while. But maybe I can stesr them in the right direction.

I read that article at Edmunds, i didnt like this though, the Driv-by-wire (http://www.edmunds.com/news/innovations/articles/43033/article.html)!
Everyone is relying on to many machines and cpu's to control safty. What if it gets a bug, I know it can do a better job than say a human, controling so many veriables in such as a millisecond, but Damn! No wonder our batteries get drained..

Prt #2
The fog lights I see dont blow, usually, they just dont work. So I reach up and found the ground splice(where 4-5 grounds connect to fender/frame) and give it a turn or loosen then tighten, to clear rust off so it'll make a btter connection.

Cylinder #2 is what ALWAYS blows out on my intake, letting the coolant flow/pour into the oil. Havnt had it go into the piston, thats not good on the converter.

But I havnt heard what was up on those threads yet.. Its all this aluminum heads, cheap bastards, not lik the steel ones that weigh three times as much. Lol Just dont make things like they used to.

XI: Hey, sometimes I have a F*****-up way of interpreting what someone is telling me, We're Cool! I too was a bit disturbed by that Drive-By-Wire stuff. Hell, I've got a thing about not using cruise control on a trip...I need to know that I have complete control of the vehicle. Apperantly I will never have complete control. Like you say what about a bug in the programing? I just saw an article not even two weeks ago about the On-star system and others that was saying what is to stop hackers from getting into those systems, Cars getting ripped off but remote unlock and what about these other programers that you can buy to up the HP...People screwed with Tylenol years ago, what is to say some putz will not get into a programmer and really mess up some rides. Scary stuff.

As for #2 Cyl. It is just typical stuff with cars in general, I think we even talked about this in the past, problems and issues seem to run in cycles. This time it's coolant into #2, who knows what is next?

I think we are leading into the light dimming as the next issue. You post about the weak tensioner pully made sense, especially if it is cold out and the tension spring is reacting slow in the cold. But your right, even my striped down GAGT with very little bells and whistles still gets one hell of a drain on start up. I can imagine how bad these fully loaded GA's are.

XI & Gir-,

I have to admit the blower is cool, But I am going to take a little mind field trip...I can remember seeing an article in one of the car magazines long ago, like 1979/80, when the Pontiac Phoenix came out, some one had taken one and put a hugh super charger in it, I can't remember but I would think they had to have droped in a 6 or 8 to put something that large on it. That was the real begining of front wheel drive and all I could think of was that much muscle on that little car, the whole drive train and sub frameshould just pull right off the car.

XI: It just goes to show you with enough cash and the right tools you can do anything to a car. Look at those little mini V8's, if you can go smaller why not go kind of like sideways and build a blower for a V6 in a GA. Stuff like this makes me really wish I had the talent and the facility to get into fabrication. I would love to learn how to weld and build working components. Dream on!

You refered to the weather in your last post, Not only does it mess with the cars but it really screws with my foot, maybe I'm begining to rust, oh well my warranty is shot in the ass any way...over on milage :naughty: :iceslolan

It will help alot of guys/gals that need to know what their codes mean.

Yea, I e-mailed Travis... He said he'd get back to me I figured the same if the seat is in decent shape and not broken down I may have to take the chance of site unseen. If the price is right the freight on the foam should not be too bad since I don't need the frame components, although it would have been sweet if it was a power seat, I'd have given thought to the whole seat bottom. But no such luck, However at least the seat foam can be shoved in a box and UPS'ed ot to me.

Even the whole seat bottom wouldnt be that much to ship, but just the foam should be around 2-3$. I'd pay that for hundreds of seats :) You ever replaced the foam in a seat? Sometimes when you pull the cloth over the foam/seat bottom, it tears the cloth and then you hav foam to sit on. Just some pointers I learned the hard way.

XI: I took the wife out to the mall first, no problem, except for the tact that I could not find a Handicapped parking place, lot of cars but not too crowded, I can never figure that out about our local Mall. It is likethat even during the Holiday Season. Now after that we hit Wally World. I would rather have been up in Detroit!!! It was worse that Frigging Nuts. I tell you what I think there were more people there than those who drove up to Mich.

Local news covering the Steelers showed the snow that they're getting I thought they said they were going to get up to 4" to 5" before game time. We are supposed to get 3" bu late morning, I may have to break out the blower. My foot tells me we are gonna get something.

I thought the codes would come in handy, and help out alot of people who lost theirs or borrowed a reader.

I'll catch up tomarrow before game time,

Dan, I hav also noticed that their are less Handycapped parking places at the Mall and WallyMart. Screw it, just park in the Fire lane :) everyone else does.

Our local Walmart has tried to be a "Super Walmart"(which closes at 9pm) and packed so much shit into the store you can hardly get through the iles, always a mad house of people just wondering around....
I guess they are building a new SUPER Walyworld, maybe then at 2am I can get to the store with out the headache!

Oh ya I hav a money tree out back Dan,... just for ungrades

Hey Xi: you can send me a branch from that money tree, Hell I'll take the whole damn tree.. HAHAH

What's up with this freakin weather? We've had 50+ degree for a while now, You guys are getting snow. NOW today when i need to work on the car the temps are dropping faster then i can get my lazy ass motivated. Actuallly i do know about what's going on with weather, since my girl is studying meteorology, so i have my own "weather bunny" HAHAHH I always wanted to say that.

Wally world sucks, i hate going there for parking and the mobs in the store. The parking isn't bad since they have a rent-a-cop scoping everything out. but everyone is spot jockeying, which gets annoying. I go there for the "cheap" stuff....

I'm gonna go look for a better job now, HAHAH like i'll find one,... countdown to the game and the commercials and any half time mishaps!:evillol:

Our Wal Mart is a Super Wal Mart open 24/7 the best time to go is after midnight, Do not hit the check out at midnight...they close their day and you have to wait about 20 mons for everthing to reset. At that time the only thing you have to worry about id the durnk that forgot to pick up the milk, bread and toilet paper the wife told him to get before he went out and got FUBR'ed

As for half time We can only hope that Mick does not have a "wardrobe malfunction" Dont really need to see the OLD frank and beans/stem and berries you get it? They would have to cancell the rest of the game the place would clear out out of fear and disgust.

OK Gar, you have the Weather Bunny...so what the hell is going on eith the weather? It's messing with my foot big time, and causes a severe lack of motivation on my part. Have your honey bunny fill us in.

Our Wally world is only open till 11pm, which is a pretty good thing otherwise I'm sure it would get held up. A few of the only things open 24/7 is dunkin donuts, your choice of 10 within a 2 mile radius, or a few select supermarkets.

I seriously don't want to see any wardrobe malfunctions with the mick... :puke: the thought is enough to make you sick...,

As far as my own personal weather girl, Non technical jargone for everyone to understand, the polar air is over Europe right now causing warmer air for us, and right now we are in "la nina" NOT "el Nino" not sure of the difference. Expect a change and possibility of snow by the 10th, providing the storm doesn't shift more one way or another.

Grfnkl: your better than our friggin goffer here in PA (ground hog). The little I know about the weather El Nino gives us a warmer winter than usual in the eastern part of the country, La nina, gives the west coast crappy weather, that is why Wash. state is working on so many days of rain. But that is all I know, except for the fact that you are also competing for the Farmers Almanac, if you can tell me when to plant my garden I'll be in great shape.
Hey just kidding with you, I'm glad you can take a joke. So will we ever see your ladt on the TV?, If she does that you'll have to go to all of thoes $200.00 a plate dinners that the TV Stars go to. You will even have to dress up, with a tie and all that stuff.

The game has not been much to write home about, and so far the commercials suck.

the game was OK last night and nothing to talk about with commericals. I only saw up to the 3rd, since i got a frantic call from my aunt who got a flat tire on her way home, so out in the cold i go to change a tire on a dark winding road in the mountains.......

Dan: You know a fair amount about the La Nina, El Nino, Now all we have to do is put you in front of a map, just say something is going on outside with the weather and you could be the next weather guy! LOL J/K. For my girl, I doubt you'll ever see her on TV, she wants nothing to do with it. For awhile she was doing radio broadcast on an AM station, if you ever listened to WMTR, Not sure if your able to recieve it or not, but she would do the forecasts for them.

All that weather stuff came from one of my enviromental courses I took in college a couple of years ago. I tell the weather by how my foot feels. If it's not too bad out during the day and I come in and sit for the evening at the computer as the temps drop out side my foot begins to hurt. That even works if for some reasom the temps rise my foot actually hurts more. That is why this winter had been especially painfull. One day 60 to 70 degrees and sun and the next morning there is frost on the car windows and I can't walk. Kinda sucks!

Hell bring the cameras on I'll stand up there and give the weather and take a paycheck for doing a job that I do not even have to get the product right. I like that kind of job never had one that I could predict a different out come and not face the reprecussions I like the idea.

Hey guys,

I had to come out here and tell you about the BIG traffic jam on the Ohio/PA Turnpike, it seem that all of the Pittsburghers came home from Detriot all at once. There was a back up at the last Ohio toll plaza before you enter PA. The news showed the back up from the air and it had to be at least 10 miles long. I can only imagine how much yellow snow there woulf have been if there was snow on the ground, I do not figure that the maintenance crew will need to cut the grass on the shoulder on that road for a while. There are two thing that you can count when talking about Steeler fans: one The fan is very dedicated and two you can not be a proper Steeler fan with out having a beer close at hand.

I am attaching a link for any of you Steeler fans that would like to check out some of the home town news coverage. There is a big rally and parade in the city this morning at about 10:30-11:00am and they said that some of the coverage will be on the site.

Damn I disappear for a couple days and I'm a page behind...
Dan, your foots like a barometer. Measuring the high and low pressures. I hav one too, my left shoulder, hell ALL my damn joints hurt as the weather fluctuates hot to cold and vise versa.
I hav noticed as long as I work out those areas 3 times a week(lifting weights,or exersize) its managable without drugs. But if I miss a week, better eat a couple Vicodins! :)

I did not see any comercials during the SB. I didnt even watch the whole game. Ended up trying to watch three different shows at once, and I cant remember any of it..

But I did win $500 on the SB. The stealers won me A LOT of cash this year, usually I loose $$$ through the season. From what I saw the game, it was slow and drawn out with little of any TDs from either team, a bit disapointing :(

I did see a part where they were playing the audio and a video shot from the mics in or on some of the Stealers team mates. They are big, and dumb :lol2:
Sports has become pretty high tech these past 5-6 years but I guess everything else has also.
I remember the last time the Stealers won the SB back in 80, at least they hav won, thats more than most can say.

Did you guys see the photo of Brittney Spears driving with her baby on her lap? What a bubble head! I hope they throw the book at her. This is as bad it not worse that JACKO the Wacko holding his kid over the balcony railing of a hotel. If I were to have done that with one of my kids They would have come and taken my kids away. She said she was trying to get the baby out of harms way because of the photgaphers. They interviewed the photographers and the guy said that there was nothing but calm, no one was rushing her or anything thatwould have caused harm to her or her baby. This girl is a silly twit and needs to be put into a parenting class at the very least.

Hey sorry about the soap box but it really burns my butt to see shit like that there is no reason to put that baby into more of a harmful situation than any of the photographers would have.

OK I'm done.

I saw that moron Britney, it was being blasted all over TV last night.... Those stars sometimes i wonder. They sit their and complain about the photgraphers following them, but lets live in Cali. where they'll follow you around everywhere. You rarely see them getting stalked anywhere else in the US. Hell if i was rich and famous I wouldn't be living in Cali, It'll be someplace else maybe florida or North carolina, hell even delaware since it's so friggen cheap! What a moron though, i really don't see how she's fit to be a mother!

XI: Glad to hear you won some money, you can put it towards your money tree for upgrades! Seriously though, i wish i put money out to win.

I saw they were talking about Britney today on MSNBC. They showed the picture of her and her child, clearly in danger, but they blured out both of them.. Why the hell should they even be talking about it if they are not going to show ya. What a tease!

She has really let her self go... :)

If that was me or any body else we'd get a damn ticket, and the Child services would pay you a visit and take the kid for several months till it "went to court" or some shit. Your right to grfnkl, why the hell do they always hav to liv off of Hollywierd and Ventura, :banghead:

Well at least the cops paid her a visit, I still hope little miss-untouchable at least has to do community service, since a fine is meaningless. You know one little frontal inpact and the little guy is mush. Ane she thought the photographers where putting them in danger. Yhis is what happens when you can pay someone else to do the thinking. Appearantly, the body guard in the vehicle was assigned to Brit, amd not the baby...He is as much at fault, when it comes to kid safety you gotta speak-up.

OK now I'm sone with that unless there is something I just have to reply to, or some other sillyass celeb. pulls a better pinhead move.

XI: Maybe if you take a $50.00 and plant it in the ground your money tree might grow back. Hell if you want send me some $50's and I'll try planting them in PA soil.

I was out looking at some of the OEM/ performance sites and I saw the RKSports site, I was looking at some of the cold air in setup, but they listed them for the 3.4l on the Cobalt. Do you think it would work?

Gotta go... Smokey the cat want's out, But I don't if he'll go it's in the 20's and we got about a 1/2 inch of snow

Ya well it needs new wheelspeed sensors@ about 200$each. And some serious alignment work. Not to mention somethings wrong with the traction control. You ever driv a Z28 Lt1? You need Trac control! lol
And I'm sure since it set for a year, many other things will start failing left and right. I can find better cheaper, just hav to look.

Maybe if you take a $50.00 and plant it in the ground your money tree might grow back. Hell if you want send me some $50's and I'll try planting them in PA soil.

I'm still looking for a Z or maybe a TA, or another Firechicken, I've just been feeling like I should buy a V8 before its ~elegal or some shit.
My GA needs a break too, so I can spend(waste) more $$ on upgrades! Thinking about trickin it out for reall! suicide the back doors, swap out the grey for black. Air ride  JK!! :: lmfao! Later guys!

XI: They were calling for 2 to 6 inches for us but as the storm got closer they kept dropping the total. We should have had at least 5'' by this time (10:10pm Sat. night) as of now we have less than a dusting. My father in law is pissed he bought a plow this year and has used it ONCE. They now said that the center of the state is gonna get up to 12+ inches. I have a friend over that way and they are going to let me know.

I forgot to tell you about the parade the city had for the Steelers...They estimated over 250,000 people crammed the streets to see the team. I talked to a few people who went and they said it was nothing but elbows and a-holes. Although the news said things stayed pretty calm.

One last thing...I gonna take the family to the New car show in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, If I can get the camera in I'll try to get some shots of the concepts snd send them off to you.

Well right now us east coasters are getting pounded and dumped on by snow.... currently by me we have about 18-20 inches down already ( since starting around 3 pm yesterday, covering about 8 pm last night) and it's still snowing, and not supposed to stop till sometime this afternoon.... If i can find my car under the drifts will be the next test, and after that will be when the plows come through, hopefully TODAY, otherwise I will have a hell of a time getting out to go to work tomorrow....

grf: Sorry about the snow, we were supposed to get some but it went from 2 to 6 on Friday then less than 2 for Saturday and as of now we have a dusting of snow. Be careful driving out there, watch out for the other guy, especially those newbies in the 4x4's and SUV's that think their vehicles can go and do anything anywhere. You can tell the experienced drivers eventhough they have the 4x4 they are still cautious on the roads, but they will let go in the open...what a blast to open her up and just slide around.

XI: Sounds like you got enough to play, I wish we would have gotten some snow just to go out and turn the Suzuki loose for a while. Gotta give the front axle a work out too!
I'm hoping for some snow soon I want to get the boy out on the bikes in the snow, I haven't done that in so long I forget how much fun it really is. I know it's fun for me to want to get out there with my foot and all.

thanks for the reminder... Serisously though, the "pole incident" was back in 03' right before the blizzard.... what you are thinking of for 2005 is either the mirror incident or the back quarter van incident... jeez... too many. HAHAHH

Snow totals around here got up to 26 inches in some places, without the drifts. so needless to say it was a shit load of snow. My car was easy to find since my mothers Vue blocked the snow drift from covering my car... so it wasn't that bad, just up to the the stripe of moldings onthe side of the car and up to the windows on the other side... but wasn't completely buried like other neighbiors cars! haha

I played a little this morning on my way in to work.... where there was little or no cars around me.. "ETS off, floor it, and make it slide down the road...." hahah, THe best part is they didn't clean the roads that well so there is a lot of room for fun, but a lot of room for error....

LMAO,:grinyes: the problem is it's becoming a daily driving routine...Some family members were calling me crash for a while.... but i swear it's not my fault. The other family joke is that when ever i have an accident my brother gets into one, or vice versa. The worst part is it screws the insurance company up, since our names are so close and the same address... For instance my bro, totalled his mustang in may. two weeks later my tail end gets nailed... So i know i'm in for it when he comes home wrecked...

If you want to come play in snow, come over to Jersey ( if you can handle it hahahah) They did a horrible job plowing so most of the roads still have snow and ice all over them!!! fun except when you get stuck in the middle of a parking lot on ice... ehem... like i did this morning at work... well i better go back to work and make it look like i'm actually doing something....
