OK guys, I just saw one to beat the EASY BAKE OVEN...I just came over from JC Whitney's site and they have...Now get this...A Pizza Oven for your ride, it plucs in to the 12v source and you can bake a pizza or other foods. I realize that it is most likely for tailgating or for the RV but it does not say that. I can imagine some nuy driving down the road with that thing sitting on their front passanger seat cooking a friggin pizza. No distraction there! This could make one hell of a comedy bit.
We can call it no driver distraction there:
1. The East Bake Oven
No distraction there!
2. The In car Pizza Oven
No distraction there!
3. The 12V Blender
No distraction there!
4. The 12V Coffee Maker
No distraction there!

The last 3 came directly from the JC Whitney site. Commonsense tells you that they are not to be used while driving, but we know better.

Speaking of coffee...it's 4:30am here and time for my 4 cup, been going at this damn web since 2:00am time for a coffee break.
See Ya,
Dan

Glad to see/hear everyones safe and sound, and had a good time. I'm draggin ass today, ever watch paint dry? HAha. Its about as boring as it gets!

Gooman, I see you like your new Xbox360, 6hrs thats carpal tunnel syndrone calling your name. Dont see how you younger folks do that for so long. I guess I hav played for hours too, just been a while.

Ya Dan some games already use real people for certain scenes, they film it then add stuff digitally. Games are so realistic these days. Its hard to say where they'll be in 10 years, but it'll look real as can be I'm sure.

Lmao EASY BAKE OVEN! Ya know, I'm sure I saw a guy with a coffee maker in his car a couple weeks ago, only reason I know this is, that he was pouring a cup of Jo out of the coffee POT at the traffic light. Now granted that was safe at the light, but you know he's not just pouring it there. He'll hav a spill on him self one day and that'll start this chain reaction, with them outlawing food and drinks in the mobil automobile. Way to go buddy! :lol2:
Damn the highway safty!

Happy New years guys,

I made it home safely from work with my 30 mile drive, and no Drunks encountered, However i did see some woman fall into the glass windows at my job, which provided 5 mins of entertainment for me! hahahahah

The pizza oven in the car is a GREAT IDEA, no more stopping at fast food joints, ( even though i hate the drive through) Just eat on the run! YUM! I can't even count the number of mornings i would eat cereal on my way to school in my car, and drink my OJ ( I'm not a morning coffee drinker) The way i look at it, if you are talented enough to be able to drive with a knee, then you should be allowed to eat in the car! hahahah

Hey whatever happened to the OLD game systems? those are still good, even though they are basically one demensional with 70's sounding music..... hahahah They still rock! You know what, someone has to put an old ass atari or intellivision in their car and hook it up to a 10 inche flip down... now that would be the ulitmate car accessory!

one of those times you just wanna beat yourself up for lol...

on my way home tonight, ventured on the same road I got my speeding ticket er ok.. I pulled up to my manager I was just working with .. lights green, he pulls off fast so I catch up and could of pulled ahead but I was already going 7 or 10 over so I backed off, whats sad is he kept going lol.. went past the speed checker and it was 62mph and im just slowing down, defeat? No, Winner for me... I didnt feel like getting another speeding ticket... now with how my work hours are going *not good* think my paycheck this friday will be errmm gussing $80? -ish... I need a new job cause my store manager was fired *she was cool* .. district manager is coming in *hes a hard ass prick :banghead: *

well, holiday vacation over.. school starts tomorrow and its already 12:15am and I need to be up at 7:30 ... peace out.

Gar...you know the sad fact is that those old gaming systems are now worth a bundle, some of us 40ish people will pay big bucks for the old toys we had as kids. I am not one of them however, there are too many cool toys and gagets out now to even worry about the antiquated electronics of yesteryear. To me it would be like upgrading the GAGT with a carb. setup rather than sticking with the fuel injection system. Although, todays carbs have also gone through their own technological advances. Come to think of it I might be pretty cool to drop in a 4 barrel, there is nothing like the feel of the kick in of the 4 barrel, kind of like the feel of turbo lag kick in but not the same the 4 barrel is just flat out raw power, Right XI?

As for the pizza oven in the car, you are going to have to find a place for the fridge to keep your cheese and sauce or at least keep the frozen pie cold. If one would continue to install all of that crap, then one will have no room for a lady, for two reasons...1 lack of room because of equipment or 2. lack of room because of an expanding Ass from eating all of the time. I'd stick to drive thru.

Gir...NO MORE TICKETS!!! you want a ticket go to a movie, they give you tickets. hahaha.

Catch you later,
Dan

Gir: Smart move for slowing down, your money situation would be a lot worse if you got caught... Good luck if your searchin for a new job, I know the feeling quite well, since i am looking for a new job as well... damn economy!

Dan: Those old game systems are worth a ton, it's crazy! You could sell off an old system and make enough money to buy a new PS2, gamecube, or even possibly an xbox. Now would i give up my old game systems, probably not, since i still have fun playing them once and a while. It's always good to be a kid at heart.

you gotta love those old carb engines, nothing like the feeling of the whole car twist when you rev the engine...

I do have a provacative question for all you guys. I had a buddy of mine ask this question and i found it quite hard to answer.

If you could have any car, but just that 1 car what would it be?

For me this was tough, since i want to many different cars.... top 3 for me would be
1. 69 olds 442
2. Buick GNX/Grand National
3. 67 Shelby GT500 ( of course like the one in Gone in 60 seconds)

Hey everyoone!
Ya dan 1 4 barrles nice, but two is even better! But their goes all the high octane fuel @ $3 gal :( Haha!

I hav a couple old game systems around. Just rebuilt my atari 5200 controlers(with parts from ebay), and series 1 sega genisis w/headphone jack/volume control. So one dimentional! Tried getting the Sega master syst from ebay, but the bidding got out of control so I bailed out on that deal. They were the first to hav the Final Fantacy series, it was called something differnt... It'll come to me... they also had Sonic the HH. Neet syst with credit card sized cartridge.

Gir, those damn cops must hear you coming. Tickets at the movies arent to cheap either these days. Not to mention that insurance rates increasing and tickets, go hand in hand.

Hey Gir, you friends with Zim and Dib? :lol2:
Just wondering, saw some Invader Zim yesturday.....

Well if we are dreaming on the list, I'd hav to hav the Maclearn F1, think its a three seater. driver sits in the middle, 200mph or a 2005 Skyline GTR(like the one in the ads above) or heck even an older 90's Nissian would work. I like AWD! especially with turboss!

OK Top three:
1. 69 GTO
2. Astin Martin (like in the latest Bond flick)
3. 280ZX

I worked for a Nissan Dealer in my youth, and had a chance to go and pick one up from a differrent dealer in Ohio took about 4 hours to get there 3 hours to get back. That thing ran like a bat out of hell before I realized it I was doing 120 on the intrestate and it felt like I was crusin at 65mph. That thing handled like a dream. The down draft on the car at high speeds pushed down just enough to make it stick to the road. What a ride.

You know the question in genreal is not fair...there are so many cars that I would love to have and in some respects I comes down to which day it is. Hell sometimes I would love to have a Bentley or Rolls. Even the Benz spotrs car would be great to have [although I have heard that they ride like a truck].

Have a good afternoon, I'll try to check in later.

top 3 cars... wow, this seems hard

One of the newer GTOs with w/e custom supercharger/turbo...
Toyota Celica (not sure on the year but I just love the appearance of the car for some reason...)
Fiat Punto - Why? Cause I just want to take it to the beach and mess it up all to hell with dounuts and whatnot... even attempt to roll it.

lol XI, interesting fact... I've had this nick since I was 12 (18 now) Playing Team Fortress Classic (Half-Life Mod) back on dial-up. Basically, that show came out whenever and people just refer back to that lol... Ive only seen like 2-3 episodes of it.

Dan

I realized that, and said that to him, that's when he put it up to 10 cars, i figured for space i would only say 3 on the forums. He was questioning how much of a car nut i am. This i all because i was questioning him about owning a 67 shelby gt500. ( which i never got any proof of) plus 2 taurus SHO's

Xi: the Fiat's are cool little cars, they also look similar to the Alpha Romeo's and MG- MGB's both fun to drive as well. That's the one cool thing about my Bro-in-law, he's into cars, and HAD a whole bunch of MG's VW's bronco's and jeeps, but since him and my sister just moved into a new house with a lot less land, she cut his collection ( even though most of it was junk)

I only gav two cars,.... I guess I really would lik a 66 chevelle w/396 and a 5-6 spd manual. And this ones not totally out of the realms of reality.

Ya grfnkl , I'd question the 67 shelby gt500, it's probley a clone. lol!

That Fiat had wooden floor boards too, lik the MG's and some of the AR's had wood also. I drov that Spider for a couple summers, no top at all and no 1st gear.
Eventually all the gears were gone so I restored about 90% of the car , then traded it for a 72 Challenger that needed a lot of work. Damn nice Challenger, should've kept it :(

heres a couple pics of it: Before (http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/xeroinfinity/AUTOMOBILES/72challengerchopd.jpg) And After (http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/xeroinfinity/AUTOMOBILES/72challengerplum1.jpg)

You guys would probably like living on my street, and at the same time hate it... My one neighbor has a fully restored from ground up, beracuda convertible... unbelieveable on how perfect it looks, He only takes it out twice a year. NOW on to the rest of my street My 2 neighbors to the one side has a bunch of old cars: 66 T-bird (very bad shape), a 70's vette ( fully restored) 70's caddy eldarado, an 80 eldarado( never driven garaged m,int condition), stecker, 60's chevelle. a 60's nova, 2 late 70's olds 98's, These are the ones at there house on my street, this does not include the other cars, that have disappeared over the years, but are probably somehwere in storage and will reappear one day. Of the cars listed, only the ones that say fully restored are in good condition, the rest are in such bad shape, they really shouldn't be driven and a few are/where daily drivers (crazy in my mind not to fix em up and shown them off such is the mentality)

Ya grfnkl thats the one. Remember it is a clone R/T though. All the parts were originaly from an R/T that was junked. The parts were rechromed & restored. Took me about 3 yrs but was worth the effort. Those rims were the Hardest to find, and were quiet co$tly.

Sounds lik your whole streets a swap meet  The last place I lived, the neighbors hated me, ya know doing the late-night work, and running stuff with open headers. hahaha!
Wasnt nothing to hav the cops over 2-3 times a night. Most the time they'd just hang out and try and pick up a thing or two. Only once did they actually tell us to shut it down. We were drunk! Lol!

Hey Guys, Sorry I haven't been around the last few days but my buddy that I was caring for took a turn for the worse last week and finally passed away on Wednesday. So I have been doing all that extra stuff with the family. They would not let me stay out of it...said I'm like family after giving so much time.

So while I'm gone the conversation turns to Fiat, nice rides...quick as all hell, but to me when it comes down to the good rides the imports are in a different class. Now the dream rides for me are the good old American Muscle cars. When I stop and think about it those little imports were able to go fast because they were small and light, but to get the American iron to move fast it had to have some spunk under the hood. That is why I think of things in different classes. Besides those little cars never have a good sound. You have to have the raw power sound coming from straight pipes or running through glass pacs or equal, besides try to get a set of headers on an import, the ones that I have heard with a hyped exhaust usually do not sound good. But that is my opinion.

Catch ya later,
Dan

thought everyone was lost.
Sorry to hear that Dan, maybe its for the best, I hate to see people suffering. Its equally hard on the survivers too.

I'd agree with you on the different classes of cars. Imports hav their plus's but I am an American and I lov american muscle cars. That little Fiat I had was pretty quick, had some top end(around 125mph), but with out a top 100mph is scary a hell!
I really get into fixing up old cars, and a few new ones. Really wished I'd never gotten rid of the Challenger, but when I get my GTX done I'm trading it off or selling it for a 69' Roadrunner. Hopfully a 383 Mag or 440 Mag w/4spd manual. I saw a couple in Indy a while back, one was $23k and the other is $28k(hemi).
Kinda ridiculas what these people think these old cars are worth. Over the last 10yrs prices hav skyrocketed on older muscle cars.

Hell I guy i know just sold a 70 mustang fastback for $24k, he was asking 26-27000$. It was totally frame off restored all original.
Where would we be without the automobile? Walking!! Walking sux!

Hey XI,
That's not a bad look, there really isn't too much to do to the GT body style but that has some potential. I was thinking about shaving the doors on the 96 GAGT, I'll have to give it some more thought, might piss off the wife. I finally got to drive the GAGT tonight, hurt the feet but what the hell. Yes Mr Luos that is my Grand Am, but the yello stripes are photo shop'd(badly done). Was thinking about some vinyl stripes but I dont know how well/long they stay on before they start to peel around the edges.

I just took a look at the before/after pics... NICE! Is that your place in the back ground?

Thanks Dan! It took three years to get that car and the plumkrazy(fc7)colour to look lik that. Blood, sweat, and in the end, tears. haha!
But it was worth parting with, made mega $$$ and the guy knew it was a clone, just goes to show ya, people with $$$ dont always hav a brain
Oh ya, thats not my places, it was a friends who was nice to let me store it there for some time, and the before was an uncle who had a body shop in New Castle, gav me a hella deal on the Challenger. At the time I was still living with my parents(saving money!) while going to Lincoln Tech and working 40hrs week, Uuuhg, it suk'd!

If you check out my car Domain, it has a couple pixs of my back yard with the Tippecanoe River running through it. Nice fishing in the spring, wouldnt eat a one! with all the pcbs in waterways these days, might grow gills and glow at night if you eat them...

I hav some info on foam seats Dan, but I need to go dig it out, but I'm getting ready to watch the NFL game. But later I'll get that to ya.

Thats ok Dan, theirs alot of places these days to get stuff. Most of the time if I couldnt get the original parts is just to wing-it. Buy the aproximate size of Urethane Foam . Use an electric knife to cut the stuff, works great.

But I'll check into what I hav, and see if I can find your GAs seats listed as a purchasable part without having to buy new seats. I'm sure theirs hundreds of places out there, its just finding them.

XI: I have to say Even though I am a Pittsburgher I am one of the few non-diehard Steeler fans. I am glad they won and will watch the games but I will also do something other than watch the game if an oppertunity presents itself. It really wasn't much of a game anyway, I think the Colt's under estimated the Steelers. Besides the REFS did a lousy job calling the came both ways, funny how they can really control the outcome of a professional sporting event. You know the funny thing about me not being a diehard is that my Uncle used to be the Controler for the Steelers back in the 70's when the wone the 4 Super Bowls. He has all 4 rings that the players get. I have been working him to give them up but no luck it seems that he wants my cousin to have them, how lame! :disappoin

I appreicate you taking the time regarding my seat issue but like I said Don't bust a nut looking for it, I'm sure that you and I can put it together when I start the project. Which may actually be sooner than I thought only because, with my buddy gone I will have my afternoons free to catch up everything that I neglected over the past year and a half, so I'll be looking for things to do. Eventhough my foot starts to hurt there are times that I just can't sit still so it will not take long to finish my HONEY DO LIST

I'm not much of a football(or anyother sport) fan. Except when I hav money on the game. And I lost, only because I too under estimated the Steelers.

Thats kool about the seat thing, I havnt goten to it yet either. But I was thinking, you might call you salvage yards around your area and see what they hav. Preferabley GA;s that dont hav wet or torn seats. I guess that all depends on how much the foam is and how hard to shape it to fit. Might save some time and money with another seat. I think these buckets are the same through many years too, so it may not hav to be year specific.

My desk chair at home is a seat from a GMC Safari van. Looks and sits just lik my GA's except it has arm rests that fold up and down, Lol! My old chair junked out and I had this extra seat, so I bolted it to the old frame. Man, I'm a cheap bastard! Hahaha! , TTYL

That's an idea, I'll have to take a look around the local yards, my only concern is going to be able to find something that is first clean and second not already broken down. Who knows maybe luck will be on my side.

Hey, I just came off the Edmunds site, they have a lot of stuff about the Detroit auto show...I should have stayed up there a couple of weeks longer, I can't wait till it hits PGH. The Camaro and Challanger take the cake. They are going to be some kick ass rides if they hit the pavement. In my opinion the Challanger hits retro smack between the eyes. The Camero is gooe looking none the less but I would love to see them work over the TA the same way. I can see a trend starting, I think that we will start seeing the cars look a little different than each other even in the same body types. I can't wait to see this stuff up close. I'm going to have to get a larger memory card for the digital camera. Now I wish I only had some cash to run out to put my name on one of the lists. :naughty: Well I can wish can't I...I know wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one you have more of. I've done this too many times it's getting harder to get the stink off my hands.

Gotta run,

Hey Dan, most seats I hav seen on GAs, its the drivers side all wasted, but the passenger side foam would work too I believe.
And I guess through the years the seats hav changed and some models sport different looks, wether it was an early model release or a late model release. That make sense? because it lost me

Camaro and Challanger, saw some pics of the 2009, was those the ones you are talking about? They are sharp as hell, both! Was thinking I might need to start saving up now so maybe by 2011-12 I'll be able to afford one, hahaha
I knew they'd try and bring back the Camaro, the last TAs were nice(98+) reaalllyyy would lik to find a nice low mileage TA WS6 manual trans , you know the works. Just so I can store it away for a few years, and long after everyones forgoten about it, I'll break it out and burn some roads down! Maybe someday, right before I keal over. Lol!

XI: I never even thought about using a passanger side seat bottom, Man what a great Idea  I would not be suprised to see more about the seats in the 96's, at that time GM was trying to make a seat more comfortable for the driver so the were using a selfconforming seat foam that would conform to fit the driver's ass, only problem...the seats reach that point but continue to break down, I can feel the seat frame on the bottom. The seat back is holding up fine.

I'm not sure what year that they are talking but it seem that there may be a good shot of seenig them on the road at some point. I think it would be great to get back to some individuality with in the car makers.

I have to tell you i know a guy that went out and bought a TA the year before the slope nose version (can't remember the exact year. The car came off the lot with 11 miles on the speedo, it now has 15miles. It is a bright blue with all the toys including the 6 speed manual, can't remember if it has a 350 or 400 under the hood, In that case I don't think it matters too much. The car is started but not driven, it is maintained with oil changes every 3months. The guy has no intention in selling it is going to go to his kids, or even grand kids he said he is going to see how many grand kids there are when he's old or too sick to live. If there are no grand kids it will go to the kids. Kind of warpped but what can you do. :screwy:

my seats are tearing where the back attaches to the bottom. This little metal L-shped peice... But other then that they are holding up well. Not lik the old Vynl seats that crack a split more everyday Lol! Or when teh vynls set in the sun for 10 hrs and you plop down, and right back out again :lol2: Thank god for plastics!

Hope to see some of those new Cameros and challengers on the road. THey'll probley hav the V6 standard model then the V8 ungrade package. I had read somewhere that GM has this new 6.5 liter to be released this year I thought, maybe it wsa for trucks, or the new AWD Cadillac's those are Nice, but outa my price range.

Wow! They changed the look of the forums! I haven't been able to get on the last few days, since I'm working nights. I like the new look, it feels "cleaner"

I saw the pics of the new challenger and camero and I'm impressed and would love to see one in person as well as drive one. I think the camero is something that GM could use to help it with sales. For the T/a's WS6, I've been seeing a ton of them around my area for awhile with somewhat lowmileage 20-50k (for a 2000+). The only problem is they tend to run a bit expensive even used. I better get back to work....

Later guys

XI: Some of the younger guys have no idea how the vinyl seats really were...HOT as HELL in the summer and COLD as HELL in the winter, I was fortunate, had a 72 LeMans, 350, 4 barrel, actually it was mom's car but I always had it...might as well have been mine, I had no car payment (Mom and Dad made the payment) I had to put the gas in it. I think at that time it was about $.75/gal, making what I was it may as well have been $2.50/gal. I can remember how pissed my dad would get because he was putting rear skins on every other month (I loved to smoke the rears).

Any way, the car was Gold with a white vinyl top with white vinyl seats, the nice thing about them was clean up, little Westley's Bleech White and a quick wipe, no more tracks :evillol: :naughty: I'll have to look for the picks I had taken of it back in High School, The girl that took the picks...:smokin: :licka: I had it good for her, but it was one of those..."Your too good of a friend B/S" I tolder her that she is the one that missed out.

But those were that days of individuallity the Pontiacs looked very different than the Cheveys. The good old days.

Well it's supposed to hit 60 + degrees here today, I am going to have to get my lazy butt outside and change the oil in the XL-7, I let it go and have about 4,000mi. on this oil. I hate letting it go that long. But when you do not have a place to work that is indoors then you have to wait for a day like this.

You have a nice day, catch you later.

Good lord.... never again will I make the mistake of missing 2 weeks of AF. Never.... I've missed so much :( - I've put in two weeks back at Kettering w/ 16 credits, so I'm busy as hell now. I'm really sorry I missed so much on the forum. They changed it too.... holy shit. I like it though. It's crisp.

Wow you guys have had a lot of stuff going on. Dan I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I guarantee you that he and his family greatly appreciate the time you spent with him. You're a great guy Dan, and and that family will never forget what you did for them.

I'm going to try to up my forum frequency now that I'm back in the 'groove' - the "groove" consisting of 16 credits, Formula SAE, Firebirds car club, tons of homework, my Ebay enterprising, my investing / stock trading, and writing my ebook. But I think I'll be able to fit AF back in... it just kind of had to take a backseat to more pertinent matters.

On a side note too, I thought I'd just mention for all you guys that remember - I dropped out of the pledge program for the fraternity that I was going to join. The house and all the guys in it kick ass - nothing down on them. It was all me, and my character, my goals, ambitions, and goal-orientedness / task-focusedness that was in conflict with the fraternity lifestyle, period. To sum it all up, I'm really just too self-centered and want to worry about only me, not other people. At all. I just want to run my own show, and I was going to have so much bullshit inserted into my life with the fraternity that wouldn't profit me - I came to relize it was going to be in total conflict with my principles and mindset. And especially my schedule, and my checkbook... I would save about six grand by the time I left college by living in the apartments... which are a HELL of a lot nicer in every aspect, and closer to school. I'm very confident I made the right choice, and just glad I made it before I got deeper into the pledge program. Well I'm running on and need to go get my weekly weight-lifting done before my next class. I'll catch you guys later.

that frappr is cool :D

man, was doing a little bit of looking around and I noticed that on pfyc.com the 62mm TB has gone up in price...
$299 from around $210 plus the $100 core charge .. jeeeze man, what gives..

says $400 on the rsm site... and that the rsm supercharger has gone up from $3500 to $4400? WTF....

Flitz kit ! thats a good one Dan!

Glad to see youre back Ride. Probley was the best that you didnt stay with the fraternity, might hav curved your grades in the wrong way. But a good career mov none the less.

Hey Gir, havnt been to those sites in a while. But I could see them going up if theirs a big demand for them. ANd the core is just what you pay till you ship your back. They're using them to make these 62mm I beleive. And with the SC's is probley a differnt one and better CPU setups and shit.

Roboticgod(aka trevor) has one of the RSM SCs he had on his 99 GA. Hes thinking about trying it on his 05, but we're going to hav to do some tuning to get it right. Tried to get him to sell it to me(@ discount of coarse) but he wasnt having that, at all.

Anyone else been having extreemly warm weather? Damn its been 55-60 all week. Last night it droped 20 deg in two hours. Me and Roboticgod went down southern Indy to look at some Cameros.
Got lost/off coarse on the way back, ended up on F****n gravel! At least it wasnt dusty, just muddy. My poor GA was caked though! Felt lik if I stoped it was going to sink, so we didnt stop. Was fun none the less, been a while since I got out and had some fun with the GA. Since the new gaskets and all. Hell I'm running on, I'd better go do somehting before the days gone.

Ride: glad to see your "back" hopefully you will be able to keep up with the forums more now, with a little more time. Without the frat pledge, will help plus i agree with everyone, it was a good "career" move.

Gir: PFYC prices tend to fluctuate, I've noticed from them in the past. They used to has a SC for only 2,000 at one time. They pulled it off the site, then it returned for the 3,000. I've seen prices go up and down on that site, and they aren't consistant with prices or availability.... but such is retail.

Hoags: the flitz kits and armourall would do wonder for those challengers! LMAO.

Xi: I'll have to check out that frapper site, when i'm at work on monday.... since my internet is friggen slow as hell... It's like using a riding lawnmower to drive down the highway, you see the sign coming up, but it take forever to get to it.
The weather here has been awesome, until monday when they are predicting snow for us... DAMN white crap but i guess that is better then the ice we had last week. Is it spring yet?

I'm trying to get it up on streetfire, or google it or something.
Nothing to big, 0-60s and one might be 0-90 and maybe one 40-90. I still was babying it, never pushed it all the way down, yet, was to far from home to walk if it was to crap out on us.

Ridenor?...Ridenour?...I know I've seen that name before!...Ridenour? Oh yea, I remember now! he the guy that that turned into a Mod, and then got to big to associate with us little guys down on the AF. JUST KIDDING RIDE!!!

It's good to see that your alive and well, I would be willing to bet that your are bussier that your letting on, (even though your ass deep in it now). I think that you have made the proper decision regarding the Frat. Like I've told you before,...For a guy your age you seem to know what your goals are and already have begun the lay your frame work to obtain those goals. I think the Frat would have taken you off track. Keep up the good work!!! and make us proud. That way when you climb the corporate ladder you can give us all high paying jobs. I think that I could design a nice ride, who need all of that training.

Gir,,, Man your reaching back a little with Kinnison...He been gone for a while now...Did you ever see the pics of the accident? You want to talk about high speed and stimulants not mixing, he should have been ont the " this is your brain on drugs commercial" Harf to believe that he was once a minister.

XL: you asked about the weather, It has been up into the lower to mid 50's this week, yesterday it started in the low 50's but then the temp fell like a rock and last night we sropped into the mid 20's. These temp fluxuations really kick my ass. I'm sitting here at 7:30am Sunday am, and my foot is just bangging away. I was going to try to get to change the oil in the XL-7 , but I never got to it. I have to hope for another temp increase, I have all the stuff to do it and I cant see paying to have it done especially since it is one of the only things you can still do in the drive way.

Well gonna run, Gotta get some stuff for the Steelers game later tofday.

Yes, that's right Dan. :iceslolan: It's me: The Man... The Legend... The Corporate Badass. :evillol:

Yeh, to tell you the truth, I am bussier than I let on. lol but I couldn't expect anything less from this school. O well, it's worth every minute of it. Thanks for inspiration too. I agree deffinately the fraternity would've taken me off track from my goals. That's how I view everything here: I ask myself if it's going to benefit me in reaching my short term and long term goals, and if it won't, than it needs to be eliminated. It's "non-value added activity" in GM lingo. :)

And yes, when I'm Manager of General Motors North American Operations someday, I'll be sure to get you guys up here! ...and I don't know if I would want to see your design, Dan. I'm afraid it would be a cross between an XL-7 and a Grand Am :) ...we'll have to see though. I'm sure maybe if you combined that with a "retro" 01 Grand Am style with yellow-racing stripes designed by XI, it might be a worthy concept car to go into production :grinyes:

Speaking of XI, nice vid man.... It's always great to hear the familiar sound of PURE THREE-FOUR FURY!!! RAGHH!!!! :evillol: :ylsuper: lol hey I just thought I'd give ya a tip too: I always found with my power curve (which seems to be similar to yours) that if I let-off just enough to let the tranny shift at about 5500 RPM's, I get better results then if I bounce if off redline, like you were doing. My times were better that way, because if I let it shift then, and floored if during/after shift, I was able to keep it between the torque/hp peaks more effectively. Whatever works for ya though... nice video. Any idea what kind of numbers you're runnin?

XI: Not bad!, I ran the video on my dial-up and it worked for the most part, however the video ran to about 3/4 of the way and stoped but the sound continued. I don't know if it was the clip you up loaded or if it was my dial up connection.

What kind of mods have you done to your GA? Did you do exhaust work? you know that I have a 96 GAGT 2.4L with a 5 yanker. It has approx. 130,000 miles on it and the wife drives it the most (she calls it her car) any way, my boy says he wants it when he is 16 and I know he is going to want to give it some power and sound both inside and out (Stereo and Exhaust/Engine. So I am trying to collect some low cost mods (IE: $100.00 to $6-700.00.

I am going to check out the game and stop in later.

Ride, I was thinking more along the line of a yugo and GAGT we can drop in a 2 speed manual with an auto clutch, I will have to be all wheel drive by all means. I figure a modifided tech 4 motor with twin turbos or at the very least a supercharger. Hell maybe just a tunnel ram!

To tell you the truth I would love to do a real design...I would take something like the GTO and give it a retro look similar to the latest pics of the Camero concept or the Challanger Concept. Hey those two look great and the job that FORD did with the Stang really ties the two era's together, That is what GM needs to do. They had such a strong hold on the muscle cars of the 60's and 70's that by taking the rides that were strong then and give them a retro look now their saled would skyrocket. Too many BABY-BOOMERS with TOO MUCH CASH, too bad I don't fit into that catagory :shakehead

Well getting close to game time.

Ya that vid I was stoped for someone turning left , with no F******* turn signal! I did red lineit a bit. Usually I try not to do that(roadrage was setting in), keep it under 5000rpms, but I was steaming do to trafic congestion.
I am going to get a couple other vids tomarow from Roboticgod. I'll try and get those up soon. Other ones hav a 40-90mph(passing assholes) and a burnout.

Ya dial up does that for me too sometimes. I'd much rather just to be able to download it all then watch it but streetfire doesnt work that way(am waiting for google Aproval, you can right click and 'save as', usually), that I'm aware of anyway. But I veiwed it and it all was there, 0-90!

HAd thought of the road side vids but we werent able to find a clear spot to do it, with out their being 20 other people on the road. I'm not afraid of no stinking ticket! :)

Well I dont want them, I figure if I'm 90mph or under It'll just be a ticket or two. If I'm going 100mph, chances are I'll go to jail with more tickets/fines, or RUN! :lol2: Just KInding Plolicia! I dont "endorse" fleeing! :nono:

But Ya I hav a custom exhaust, couldnt here it to good due to windage yestarday. You can check my car domain, I've got all the details there I beleive. Its a pretty small Domain

I have to go with the Steelers, home town and all, I think they're playing too well to stop. When you go and set a record by beating the top three teams to get to the show you are "ON A ROLL". I would not want to get close to DETROIT in two weeks, it will be worse than usual.

XI: I've got some inside information for you...The Steelers are going to wear their white jerseys(away colors) because that is what they have been wearing, and Cower says that since we're not playing at Hinze Field it only makes sense to go with the away colors. And the News Media around here is pushing the fact that they are going to Detriot...Jerome Bettis' home town and this will most likely be his last game the team is pushing to get him a win. Historicly, the Steelers play much better when they give themselves a goal.

I told you the my Uncle worked for the Steelers back in the 70's didn't I? well he said the sams thing If they give themselves a goal...most of the time they win.

Place your bets wisely!! I don't gamble (no extra cash) and besides the wife would get pissed if I put up the house or cars on a bet.

just joking, I would have to deal with the wife on that one.

XI: I wanted to ask you if you noticed the other video's when you put up your 90mph video. I am going to go back to the site...I caught a video of a miniture V6 ( think it was a 6) motor that actually ran. I find that really interesting and want to track down some more info about them. I wonder if it was home made or if there are kit available to make one on your own. Man I'd love to build up a mini V6. The possibilities of uses are unlimited. That could be too much fun, It would get out of hand if there is a mini manual trans that bolts up.
If you or anyone else that reads this post knows anything about these mini's please let me know.

Well gotta run, the wife is on her way home from work, got to start getting dinner ready...Burgers and Fries. I knew you would ask. With any luck later on I'll get to play with the kid's mom.

See ya,
