teh movie's supposed to be out this summer - winter from speculations around the net. Its about time.

Anyone farmiliar with a SATA hard drive? heres the thing. its connected and powered. I go into CMOS, HD shows up as Channel 3 master. need it to be channel 1 master. Its a computer that I built the other day, and just need to give it a brain.

You just need to plug it into the channel 1 sata plug on the motherboard. Right now it must be in the 3rd plug.

no it is in the right port.... should i get one of those IDE to SATA cables?

Shouldn't need to. Usually each sata channel has its own plug on the mobo and to change channels you switch where its plugged in. What model mobo?

abit NF7-S2G.

That board only seems to have two plugins.. not sure where the 3rd channel would come from. Have you thoroughly searched through bios? Maybe theres a way to change the channel it's running on. I've only built two sata machines though, and both times the channels were inscribed beside each plug on the mobo.

ive checked..... i'll spend some time just messing with options. I hope to eventually make it my primary machine but withought a brain. do you think it might work if i put in my 250gb IDE drive, and install a OS through there??

It would work but wouldn't solve the sata problem. What os are you installing? If its windows you'll need to hit f6 when the install starts to install the SATA controller from a driver disk. Are you sure it has to be primary channel to install to it? I think if you have the right drivers in you can install to whichever channel you choose.

Ok guys i think i mite have finally solved my problem with when i click a thread on the board it gives me a second page then the actual thread. I found throughout extensive searching that ADSENSE which comes with any google product is the reason why it is happening.Now i havent yet done the restart but when i do if there gone then GoogleEarth was the problem, but if its not then the board is running Adsense and there is nothing i can do.

Its an AF thing, ive been to a few other sites running Ads by Google and no problems there just here.

Well the mechanic where the truck is sitting till they pick her up wanted some things off the truck for his 1500. Im like yeh i dont mind. Well then i find out that he didnt want nothing for his truck, just the stuff that i couldnt remove because lack of tools and he wouldnt lend me a hand when he was free.The parts he wanted to remove were the exhaust manifolds, the oil cooler hose adapter <custom $>, the y pipe <custom $$$$$ 350> and he wanted to wheel down a motor puller so he could get at the oil pan which was <custom and lots of $$$$$> and the adapter plates so he could sell them and make some money.At this i flipped. Ok its one thing when asked if he could offer the tools or assistance to remove the stuff so I could sell them its another after recieving 1400 plus dollars for labor parts etc on this to go and want to pull them and make more money for yourself. Very lucky person not to have my firearm of choice. So rite now its their but i think i got my message through to him that if he touches it, itll be the law man or me whoever gets their first. Stuff like that just pisses me off when you go through all the hassle, he knows that im flat broke rite now because of paying him, and that im struggling to get by without a vehichle and could use the money those parts would generate for a down payment when he just got all my coin.GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRR

Reading my old blue trucks carfax was like going back in time. Bought in 91 regular maintenance started in 98 and like every 3-5k miles in for oil change, engine check,suspension all that stuff.

Then i saw some basic mods for the motor, so i understand what the 2.8 guys feel their but i got the exhaust from the 5.7 that never got put on the truck i can put one cuz the 2.25" diameter is the same so it wont be farty but rather very American. Just wish i could make it look like a rally car or something like that.

The one is a 89 w sunroof the other a 88 no sun roof. Talking to a guy about it and they both dont have the stock wheels on them.

It's a little pricy at $6,000 or $7,000 Canadian at the moment, but I think that I can get get the boss to drop the price a fair amount. It's been sitting there for some time needing the brakes fixxed, and I figured out what the problem was today (a stuck calper)

Lol well see where we go camping the cabin is in the middle of the state forest.Now they saw the tourism aspect of this said forest and made the whole area known as the PA Wilds. Before they could do this they had to turn every rutty old school jar your teeth loose road into loose gravel which certain roads give flats. Well the road to the cabin is the old school 8" rut big rock rutted 1/4 mile. So thats where the beretta will need to go offroad with the occassional pipe line run lol. The forest in ? here is the Sproul. I think we knobby 215s or whatever whipping around mountainous terrain could be interesting to say the least. Lol
