96 maxima vs 03 altima 3.5L

bk2max, thats bull shit, I had my Maxima and could never beat a GSR, I ran 3 of them, only beat 1, it was a 4door GSR. My friends ran their cars at the tracks too.....and they all hit above 15.3 and my maxima couldnt beat them. I am finding it hard to believe an Auto maxima is running a 15.2 unless its nicely modded.

This is going to keep going and going, I got it book marked here, on my labtop and at work, so I will be post whoring until I show you guys I will beat a Maxima (Auto)

daveauth, didn't you say that you are auto? if so, how can you say that you would pull on an Altima 3.5 SE 5sp? since those run the same (or damn close) times as new 3.5 Max's, then you are saying you could pull on my 3.5 6 sp? I highly doubt it, you'd have to be making at least 260-270 lb.ft-torque to make up for the tranny disadvantage. just a little confused as to where that claim comes from.

i have all my exhaust,intake,ecu,udp,an now nos not to mention fuel system mods i know i have close to 250hp at the wheels is this explained enough? i could break down into detail all of my mods for you if you like oh and yes i have a auto

Maxima: Automatic, V6, Intake

B.S. go over to the org and you will see plenty of 2k's running low 15's some have even made it into the high 14's, bs, get mad if you want those are the facts.
GSR's are not that fast, I burn those all the time.
I have an intake as well and you won't come close. Notice how you nicely avoided all of the facts I posted about your slow@$$ times on the 5spd max but yet you say you beat maxs but can't beat a slower GSR.

I beat a type-r and my friend has a gsr integra 4 door my other friend has a gsr engine in a dx civic weighing 2300lb, all 5 speeds. the only one that is competition is the gsr civic. and we haven't decided who's is faster because we can't get consistent results.

Yeah I sucked at driving my automatic maxima, it took soo much skill to hold the break and revv the motor up to 2500 rpm and drop the brake and take off....yeah way too much skill

i guess so if you lost to a fuckin' integra.

Nick, what abou those times on that 5spd 2.5S Altima, even with your best in the world, fastest, slickest, most durable shifting 5spd in any car, you will not be able to make up the big difference of almost 2 seconds that it'll take your car to get to 60 in comparison to the Max.

Maximus, put in Irvine on mapquest and see how far a drive it is for you, I got a straight away that you can hit 100mph and still have time to brake, pretty safe, if you see a cop, just slow down and your good. I can get look outs too.

Its like 45 minutes from Los Angeles, only reason i am saying drive to this spot, is because its secluded and we can actually race safely here. Its not a stupid place to race. Ill PM you the crosss streets. Its about 20 minutes from my house, so if you want, I think its perfect place to race, 1. its safe and 2. we can see cops from a mile away in this farm land.

i finally raced a 2.5 altima 5 speed the other day on my way back from school. it wasn't even a challenge. you'd think there was a mouse on a wheel under the hood. i blew his fuckin doors off. if an automatic maxima is half a fast as my car then it would have still been 1-1/2 cars ahead of this altima. i feel bad for nick. he has to drive that hunk of shit every day and still has to pretend he's proud of it.

The SE-R sentra i raced was a lot more of a challenge

Even though I have two Maximas, Id take a new 4 cyl Altima and be

If people did race other cars they would share it with everyone else and some would be in favor while others would be against. No, although there have been a couple of attempts to try and race it seems the race will never happen. So all we can do is just sit back and let jbl talk all the shit he wants.
He will never admit that his car sucks just like we maxima owners will never admit that our cars will lose to such a tiny car like the altima 2.5L 5speed.

I do agree that a 2k3 2.5L Altima with beat a 4th gen 5 speed, if the maxima had, intake,y-pipe,udp it would beat it. at 3.5L is like saying your 4th gen maxima 96 no less, can beat a 2k3 maxima. Which, wont happen. It is also my understanding that the 2k3 maxima 3.5L weighs less than the 3.5L maxima of the same year. So I think you may have been mistaken on the neck and neck up to 110 or so. After 50 it would have pulled 2 cars on you easy. I've driven both a 2k3 maxima and a 2k3 3.5 altima, and I own a 99se and guess which ones are faster? even with my meeger mods those are quicker. If you guys really wanted to get hard fact, post this on maxima.org forums, I have noticed that this bored, as of late, has been filled with people giving out misinformation.

True, I would like to think my maxima can beat anything, but thats just a dream, i used to read word up magazine too! heh :) but in real life there are cars that are faster, im not saying that some maxima's can't beat these cars, but not a 4th gen auto or 5 speed without all the bolt on mods and a good driver.

look dude i have stated this many times before i can take any stock 2003-altima or maxima with my 96 but thats not what we are debating here the facts are in the time of a 2003 2.5l altima and any 95-99 maxima auto stock for stock or even mods there's no way that altima can win unless the maxima has some kind of problem with the engine,tranny,or driver. now i have personaly driven a 3.5l altima auto and i still find that my stock(project 95 se)maxima still feels stronger on the line,to 60,and 100. now just one more thing to add you can call me a bullshitter and saying there's no way thats true but i have raced to many altimas and won to here someone cut down a 4 gen. maxima that i personaly own and love i think ya'll just need to grow up
