96 maxima vs 03 altima 3.5L

I love the 5th gen, probably one of my favorite cars I wish I had.

The only thing I wonder is, why someone just doesn't start a new thread instead of getting OT, then back on topic, then back OT, then back OnT, and so forth and so on and on and on.

Please people let's kill this thread and start a new thread about something where we can all converse intelligently without all the flames, anger, agression or whatever you want to call it.

How about someone start a thread about who would win between the new Pontiac GTO vs the new Maxima SE?

Well everyone is already reading the arguments here.

I am still waiting with more arguments as to how a 3.0 VQ with an Auto tranny can beat my 2.5 QR with a 5 speed.... :D

Definitely go with the 03 SE Max. The Altima is nice, but the interior:monkeypis :o blows....

Max SE TE 6 sp...it's the way to go. btw jbl, i've found if you grow the ol locks out in college, girls will come running. works like a charm, every time

I was was and am piss drunk tonight. I had all the girls...well I was spitting some good game...but I have a girlfriend, so my phone number didnt get out...:( it kind of ruins your fun, but if you have someone you care about its all good.

I am gonna feel like an idiot in the morning reading my posts while I am hammered but oh well.

I honestly like a 5th gen maxima more then my 3rd gen Altima, however with my mods I have done I do like my Altima more on the exterior....the soul of my car is still weak with a 2.5 liter engine.

JoeB 0-60 is pretty quick, somewhere under 8 second range.

Cuz I beat a few Automatic VQ30's and everyone is all up in my shit for 40 pages about how My car sucks ass, fuck that, I beat 3 of them and I am damn proud of my piece of shit 4 cylinder.

Mint condition, has about 97,000 miles on it. We raced when my car was like a month or two old, so I only had about 2-4,000 miles then and he had about 86,000.

It was pretty well taken care of my its previous owner, and my cousin drives it pretty softly.

How fast were you going when you stopped the race?

I was 2 full car lengths ahead at 60mph.

Vs the other Maxima 97 I was at like 70 or 80 and I just let off cuz I was only half of my car ahead of him and the road had construction work so it narrowed to two lanes. The 5th gen I just went to like 50mph but he backed off cuz he was loosin. 3rd gen went all the way to 100mph, had him by a car.

The Automatic Altima is so slow that when I raced one, it was in a left turn, so the guy looks over, floors it, has me by like 5 cars when we exit the turn, we are on a straight away, so I gun it in second and have him by like 3 cars, and that was with a passenger.
