The filter element looks so realistic!
Will it have some sort of mesh covering over each fin?

Wow....Steve, are you singlehandedly depleteing UK's aluminum stock supplies?

Owesome job man, I wish I get more proficient with my lathe.

The filters and the aluminum looks great. However, white paper filters aren't very flow efficient, are they? Die the filters dark red, for that K&N FIPK look.

They look amazing! Keep the filters just like that, in my opinion they look cleaner

I haven't commented on this model yet, but I finally decided to. There really isn't anything that I can say that hasn't allready been said. This is an absolutly beautiful model.
BTW-Are the filters made out of paper or styrene?

Amazing, I only just found this, I'm lurking in the motorsport forum too much!

One comment though, correct me if I'm wrong but the front driveshaft looks completely weird to me. The CV gators seem to be perpendicular to the ground and the shaft itself is bent to fit. With everything else looking so perfect this just looks a bit weird.

I know ? The original Fujimi Plastic parts are that shape, if mine were any different it would not line up with the hubs, Weird as you say.

Man, I think I've actually come up with something better than the "real car" comment.

Steve could build a 1:12 WORKING engine I bet.

Don't forget to set aside some time in between modelling to clean off some shelves.....you're going to need the space to put all the trophies your going to win with this beast.

Sorry, donīt take this as a critic. Your job is more than great-as always, but that turbo layout would cause some overheating problems since the turbine housing/exh. elbow of turbo1 is much too close to the compressor housing of no. 2.
I think it would be better to place the 2nd turbo behing no. 1 just like standard layout or place them in a little angle like it is done on big twin setup.
You will find some good pictures on the gtr register. Iīve never seen a setup with 2 turbos almost next to each other.

The 1:12 utilizes top-mount aftermatket turbos. The 1:1 is the stock set-up with Apex-i filters and necks.
