I would seriously get this masterpiece insured when it is completed!
Are you doing the brake lines to calipers/master cylinder?
What's the status on the electronics?

I will be doing all plumbing for the brakes, but i'm waiting for the 1:1 to come so I can get better info on pipr runs etc.
The electric are in hand, I have purchased all the parts , just need to solder it all up sometime, but I doing the rear brakes now.

Um no. Steve could sticky it himself, but we wont. There is no need too, indeed it is an excellent project, but a sticky wouldnt do anything else. People said to stick my thread, another mod did, then everyone was in upheaval so we unstuck it.
Steve, you crazy modeler...Stop raising the damn bar.

No Sticky Please. Thanks
Mike if you want me to machine you up some brake discs like mine, just drop me a PM or an email with a drawing, they should be easier to do than the suspension.
Thnaks for all the coments guys, helping me keep going.

Please feel free to ignore my opinion but the flame burnt exhaust tip falls into the same category as undercar neons and fake flamer kits - imo they have no place on a car of any kind, let alone a piece of art like the r32 gtr. Have you seen the exhaust of a car that spits flames naturally? Blackened yes, high temperature flameburnt tip - no. I just think they look tacky. You might as well put on bad boy headlights ( \ / ) and a smooth out all the seems with putty, and de badge it, and paint it bright green... :2cents:
Sorry for the criticism.

^ heat treated titanium turns colors. I believe titanium is the lightest material they use for exhaust.
You ever actually see a POS fanboy car with a $1200 titanium exhaust? Didn't think so. ;)

I have actually seen headers, and exhaust pipes change color by the natural heat before. A friend at school had an MKII MR2 with a natural chrome exhaust, several months later it had the same thing. Anything chrome, stainless, or titanium will do that with easy heat.

Maybe headers and such, but nothing near the tailpipe ever gets that hot, even when producung flames, especially in a nice neat perfectly circular pattern. anyway, these are just my thoughts, and its not my build so please continue.

Ahh yes, titanium exhausts do go that colour at the tip as well.
And modded skylines do produce flames as well. (without ricey flamer kits)

£8200 plus extras which I specified. The car is standard I believe. apart from the exhaust, but I'm sure it kicks out more than the stadard power which is 280 BHP the same as the 350Z but it feels quite a bit quicker than the Z, maybe just the turbo's tricking me. Just purchased Twin Apexi Air Intakes today.

You're probably not being tricked. The GT-R was underrated in power for the gentlemens agreement and the Z is a little overrated in power. IF you were to strap both cars to the dyno I'm sure you would find that the GT-R has more whp/bhp than the Z.
Also, you'd be surprised what just the filters and exhaust can do to the RB26.
Lucky SOB..... :smokin:

Also... very nice r32 and 350 you have... I wish i could afford an r32 now that we can import them... all i need is like $12,000.

Hiroboy, you really are amazing. Those brakes look amazing. They look better than the brakes on my parents cars. (They only have stock brakes)
I can't wait to see what you do next. I hope that when I'm older, I'm half as good as you.
Oh, funny thing, of my friends printed out your HKS black R-34 Skyline. He was showing it to me, and he seriously thought it was a real car. I was laughing pretty hard. I showed him this site.

I have been watching this thread for some time now. I have showed my early interest in your poll when it started, The progress confirms to us that there is going to be a really detailed upgrade kit on offer. I have the fujimi kit sitting around but havent had the balls to start, and continue to show interest in your continuing hard work. Congrats on the 1:1 R32, keep up the great work..

Ok, now you guys are buying these skylines like their cheap. Maybe am doing something wrong cause I would love to have a skyline shipped to the U.S. especially having the steering wheel on the other side. Dreams, if I only could live them. Is 29 too old to dream.
Yo, Hiro lets get going on the model man, JK, but seriously lets get going on that beauty your making.

Done a bit more at the weekend, The body was given a few coats of primer and then sanded with 2000 grade, then 6 coats of Nissan Bayside Blue with the airbrush. I now need to clear coat.
I decided not to mod the body work on this on, maybe then the next one.
I'm trying to decide what to do with the bonnet, I was going to Carbon Fibre it but none of the 1:12 sheets cover this bonnet in one peice (just a bit too small). I think it will be blue as well.
Oh yeah, the interior has been airbrushed and the carpet done.
Thanks for looking
