Sorry, was away from the comp for the day.

No one has gotten it yet. Not an ISO, not a Bertone design ;)

The first few cars produced had a different taillight, before switching to those.

Come on people, it's not even all that rare! They made a whole 390 of them!

OK, is it from a big name manufacturer? and is this manufacturer still in business?

Those are the clues we need :p

Big name: no.
Still in business: erm...yes, but not currently producing anything. They've got a new concept car floating around Geneva.

It used a Chevrolet 327ci V8, and the bodies were made by Baur.

datsun 240z ?

Jimster
05-08-2005, 09:31 PM
I'll look for a bigger picture of the car when I can be bothered. It's not a 240Z nor is it an Alfa Spider.

The car was a pretty dismal failure, from a company that was riding on the success of one car.

ThatRoundHeadedKid

can't make anything of that pic jimmy lol. I'm just going to guess DeLorean since they struggled alot.

:\ i'd guess delorean too...

but, as it doesn't really look like one... it looks more like a Spyker...

Jimster

Right guys, got a better pic. Same car, but different and much rarer variant.

http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/4275mystery41.JPG

And it's not a delorean. The company (I think) is still making cars in very limited volumes

He said it wasn't American even though that headlight-grille combo is very reminiscent of American cars from the 50's. I'm stumped.

Any chance we can get an ass shot of the car??

Did the maker of this car ever merge into a certain big mistake made by that countries automakers back in the late 60's?

It's not a Monaro by chance?

Jimster
05-11-2005, 10:02 AM
Oh no, a Monaro pales in comparison to this mighty machine, it's from the European region, was mass-produced and it gets quite a ribbing, mainly because these people are jealous they don't own one and instead are stuck owning Lamborghini's :p
