I think emissions all depends on the counties, not the entire state. Here in MO, only 3 counties (largest counties I might add) are emissions required. But they now passed a law saying that cars 96 and older don't have emissions anymore...so no cat for me!

I'd say look it up or call up there and just ask.

As for the open headers, its crazy always looking around for cops. Its louder than any motorcycle I've ever heard. I honestly can say now that its too lound and I can't wait to slap that y-pipe on it. But I won't have anytime next week. But I did just get in my O2 sensor and 160*thermo, so I'm gonna go pick that stuff up tomorrow before work.

For visual or functional? Well, yes for both. O2 Sims for functional and take the cat case apart and mount it around your y-pipe where it would originally go for visual.

Are you talking about passing emissions w/o cats? You can get O2 sims like i did but they dont work at all. My check Engine light is on... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Speaking of looking for parts, I want smoked rear side markers. Where can I get those? Can't seem to find them anywhere.

u can smoke them urself if u can't find covers. just mix some black paint with clear and spray them.

I could, but I'm lazy...I just want to buy them and put them on. And I just found out last night, that one of the bulbs for those side markers is out. I thought is pretty funny. It never ends with these cars.

A dirty mechanic and some dollar bills could get you to pass.

if u wanna remove the cat (or u already have), the best way to pass emissions is to use tuning software (ls1 edit, etc) to knock out the rear O2's so they will not be used and the computer will not throw a code. this is if ur location does not require a visual inspection. if thats the case u need to hollow out the cat, reinstall it and knock out the rear O2's

Damn CO...only 77 degrees today, and my drunk ass had the A/C on last night.

Thats one of the cool things about Texas.. its always hot so no matter how long the AC stays on, as long as it isnt overnight or you didnt put it down below 68 or whatever it wont get cold.

I hate cold, I'd love to live in Texas.

If I were you i'd open up all the windows, turn off the A/C (Ofcourse, if you havent already) and then just sit there.. or just turn on the heater and then turn it off when it gets hot enough.

i did the same thing. this past week its been in the mid 80's so i left the ac on during the day, then forgot to turn it off before i went to sleep. it got down to 55 outside and my dumb ass had the ac on. now i have a cold :banghead:

Perfect weather for me is 20 degrees, sun out, fresh snow, day off and free ski tickets in my hand as I'm driving to the mountain. I can deal with summer ok, I just don't like high humidity.

I totalled my first Z on wet pavement after it rained. Wet weather sucks. It used to be fun for donuts and stuff, but driving, rain is a pain in the ass. Other people don't know how to drive in the rain either, which doesn't help.

no what sucks is not having abs brakes in the rain. hydroplaning is what caused my accidents. nothing i could do.
