i've been through -13 and i complained less than you guys.

-13 is a hella lot different up in say North Dakota than it is down somewhere closer to the south. Humidity has a a big factor in how cold it actually feels...

it was at the top of a Swiss glacier (that's 12,780ft) in 70mph winds and a white-out snow/hail storm.

to make it worse, the glacier is totally flat and about 1/4 mile accross. i've skiied over it a few times. it's always horrendous.

anyway,

anyone know any good sites to get blueprints?

i'm strugging to find them for a '97-03 F-150 SupreCrew. i need a whole bunch of measurement for stuff i'm desinging.

oh boo-hoo.

where the hell is Rally?

poormillionaire2

He probably crossed the boarder for some warmer weather. I don't think he likes roofing in 20 degree weather.

hehe

i'm bored, i want to learn how to use CAD programs to design stuff, but they all cost like thousands.

i've got Sketchup to try.

This just in:

Police academy sucks. I puked my first day after all the nasty academy food, stress, and a 5 mile run in the weather in the teens. It was bad. Atleast I have a couple days off now though.

why doesn't msn OR aim work?

what the fuck is wrong with all these computer things?

ARGH!

it's like school food. it never gets better.

poormillionaire2

My high school didn't have bad food. It was expensive but some of it was damn good. Now I'm hungry again. I don't know why I eat so much.

It's much worse than school food, take my advice on that one.

Is that why some cops want donuts?

2.2 Straight six
02-03-2007, 06:11 PM
i've never had good school food. why can't they cook rice? half is always under cookeed so it's still hard and sticks to your teeth.

why is AutoCad so expensive? i really want to get it but it's $2,200 on Amazon UK. and my craptop can't handle it...

i'm going to start playing the lottery again..

poormillionaire2
02-03-2007, 06:26 PM
Can't win if you don't play.

2.2 Straight six
02-03-2007, 07:18 PM
exactly!

i'm sure i'm due for one of those $160 million tax-free wins right about now..

poormillionaire2
02-03-2007, 07:40 PM
Tax-free? We don't have those around here where I'm at. The damn gov't always wants a cut from someone else. I say they buy their own ticket if they want to win.

2.2 Straight six
02-03-2007, 07:51 PM
haw haw. lottery wins are tax-free here.

you just have win, that's the hard part of it all.

poormillionaire2
02-03-2007, 08:14 PM
The gov't here takes almost 40% from winnings. Its insane. So, if you win $100 mil and you take the lump sum instead of the payments, you'll only take home about $30 mil, probably a little less.

2.2 Straight six
02-03-2007, 08:28 PM

Yea...that pisses me off. Thats kinda like how it is for me, I work for Tmobile and with our commission checks, they take about 40%. So its like if you make 1500 in commission, you only take home like700ish...its so lame to see allllll that money go away. kinda depressing really...

poormillionaire2
02-03-2007, 10:30 PM
And now its almost tax season, so they will be milking more from us hard working Americans. The illegal immigrants don't even pay taxes, because they get paid 'under the table'.

A hell of a lot cheaper than autoCAD. The student edition is like $200, compared to what $999 or something for autocad?

2.2 Straight six
02-04-2007, 04:34 PM
i've heard that AutoCad 2007 is far superior.

but it needs like 2gig of ram and stuff.

might be waiting a while before i get any of this stuff.

at $1000 I wouldn't even touch AutoCAD. Plus if you want to design like mechanical things SolidWorks beats the pants off AutoCAD.

AutoCAD is a really old program like back from the 1980s old. It is based on drafting with a pencil and paper.

SolidWorks is a newish program, and has a lot more features that would never be possible with a pencil... like determining weight and load strength.

Well, this is just great. While I was working, it decided to snow again. Its not a lot, maybe an inch or so, but it wet snow. So its making the roads hellish to drive on. Its terrible. And people and their AWD vehicles passing me like they are invincible.

And I know you guys will be very sad, but I probably won't be on very much for this next week as my life has been completely consumed by school and work. We have a guy on vacation and they are starting some new stupid-ass cleaning program, so I am lucky enough to get 45 hours scheduled while going full-time to school. Plus, other obligations during the week. I figured it out to be almost 3 full days this week that don't belong to me. I think it came out to about 62 hours or so. Anywho, just wanted to rant a little. Figured I should give some of you 'remedial readers' more than 2 lines to put together.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I forgot when I signed up that I contracted my soul to the devil and the pink gorilla named Davey. Plus, I also forgot that I have computer classes at school, so I won't be away as much as orginally projected. :banghead: But seriously, you guys need to pick up the pace here. Remember when this third one first started and we had 10 pages within the first day. What happened to all enthusiasm we initially had? It makes me sad.

It almost seems like everyone ran out of things to say. We could keep picking on rally, whose lack of presence here has seemed to slow things up as well. How about we close taco bell for a while, maybe he will have time to join us and whore this thing up more

poormillionaire2
02-06-2007, 08:50 AM
I could go for some Taco Bell. I haven't been there in awhile. Its one of the only cheap fast food joints around here. But every Friday, we go to White Castle. That place is the shit! I don't know if you guys have one around you, because its mainly here in the midwest. I think the next closest thing to a White Castle is called Crystals. Too bad its not a national chain.

Out here we have taco bell, mcdonalds, burger king, wendy's, kfc, and I think thats about it. I miss sonic from when I was in florida. We do have some slightly yuppie places, panera bread is one of them and its good.

Give it time. My wife and I have different opinions on all sorts of things, and the banter back and forth sometimes does get a little heated, but remember its only an opinion and everyone is entitled to their own. If it was meant to be, it will happen.

yeah, i kept calm about everything when we talking about stuff (like if you won $30,000 should you spend it on yourself or help others) and she was getting a bit heated in all of it, then turned it into a witch-hunt/interrogation against me. (because i lent a friend $40 to go out with her mates, get drunk etc..)

she e-mailed me while i was sleeping, saying it was stupid to want to break up and stuff. i want her back, i don't really know what to say to her though.
