thats funny that you both had incidences with deer, because just two days ago, me and my girlfriend were driving from atlanta and a big ass buck was on the median part of the runway...meaning the middle, in the grass. It didnt jump out or anything, but it was night and all you could see was the spooky eye reflection thing. It spooked her but not me and Its funny cuz she was driving about 100 and i pointed it out and she didnt start screaming until after we had passed it.




And o yea...I got my ass kicked tonight by an 04 RX-8..wooo...so...everyone out there with a 3.4, NO you cannot beat an RX-8

Rx8's are pretty quick. They are around low 14's. That right there with healthy stock LT1's.

I tried to beat a V12 mercedes...I just want to have an idea of HOW slow my car really is...it just feels soo.. kinda quick to me. or i guess its because of the way i weave through traffic. sometimes i just need to race fast cars and get a wake up call. but its funny because the people i hang with think RX-8s are slow...go figure

/events leading up to that

My dad helped me with the rear end gear install that I did a couple of months ago, he wrote down the vin # to my car then without me knowing it.

My car is pretty well known around town. A lot of people like it (because they are stupid) and can recognize it. A week or so ago, my dad tells a guy that he is selling the car and here is the vin # so the guy can get a loan for the car. My dad has never paid the first penny on the car or anything I have done to the car. A couple of days ago, the man decides he'll buy the car so he goes to the bank and gets a loan for MY car with MY vin #. The guy pays my dad, then comes to pick the car up.

My dad's name IS NOT on the title, NEVER has been on the title of any of my vehicles, and NEVER will be.

To beat it all, he told the guy he was wanting $1,600 for my car. What a joke. I swear to god I'm going to take a sledge hammer and break every one of his fingers, kick his false teeth down his throat, and urinate on him.

Obviously, I didn't let my car go...But I'm going to make him sorry. This isn't the first time he's done something like that to me...

A year and a half ago or so, he had a laptop from Rent to Own and he didn't pay for it. He forged my signature on a note his girlfriend at the time wrote up saying that I was going to take over payments on the thing. I got a call at work threatening legal action against me if I didn't come up with the money. Fuck him...

Since we are on the subject of bad family members, when I was stationed in the army, little did I know that my sister was filing my taxes without my knowledge and cashed my IRS checks with her boyfriends' help at the time. When I filed, it came to light and it took me a while to prove my case and actually get my money back.

My mamaw (dad's mom) has this old Gibson guitar. Back in the 70's my papaw paid $2,800 for it. She rarely plays it anymore after he died. She had it in a case under her bed. My dad took it out of the case, gave it to his girlfriends brother, and left the case under the bed so that when she looked and saw the case she would think it was still there. She cried for weeks and he would cuss her and yell at her. She really messed up adopting him.

I really hope he ends up one of those people who suffer for a long time before they die. I want him to be miserable and to be alone. I cannot wait until he needs me, it's going to be so much fun.

I think the only messed up person in my family is me. Never really had any personal problems with anyone, except when they don't give me enough money on my b-day or Christmas. And it really sucks because I am putting the car up this week. No more maro till March. :frown:

Umm, let's see, it was about 14 years ago. Thank god for degree man, my old dead body would stink up a morgue if it weren't for degree.

I'm going John's route and not getting to sepcifics. But, put it this way, I walked away from everything for 5 years, didn't talk to anyone, kinda pulled a Kane (King Fu) and roamed the Earth. Come to think of it, there was a rumor I died in Denver too :lol: Anyway, came back and it's pretty much a given, I am who I am, don't like it, don't talk to me and we'll be fine.

The toughest part of it all is trying to raise your own kids with a little more realtive family value. Atleast my in-laws have been a great help in making a parent out of me.

You got lucky with the inlaws. Mine are totally nuts, think the world owes them everything. We got my wife's grandmother's van last spring, she gave it to us as it was just sitting not being used. Have the title and everything. Her parents came here one night and took it at about 3am. We called the cops when we noticed it was gone, pulled the security tapes and figured it out pretty quickly who it was. Drove past their house and it was in the driveway, called the local pd where they live, they came over and we got it back right then and there. Cops told them they were lucky we weren't pressing the issue, even though I told my wife we should. Havn't talked to them since, and its been great.

I got my halo's installed again. The LED's are red 25,000mcd bulbs. Just got to wait on night time to get some night time pics. Here they are on the car now.

Its tough to do and make it look right. Especially on these cars. Lots of fab work needed. I don't think its worth it, most wind up looking like shit anyways. I only like side-exit exhaust that is molded into a side skirt or something. A pipe just dangling on the side looks tacky and cheap in my opinion.
