What are you planning on using for tires? And how do you like the gforce?

I am loving the KDW's on the front.
But I haven't really put them to the test.

I probably could use some new tires also. What is the widest I can go on the stock rim of a 94 Z? Right now I have 245/50/ZR16. Could I maybe squeeze on a 255 tire? I would like some rims but I'm not going to spend the money on those, so I'm just looking at tires. I was thinking the BFG KDW's, but aren't those about $200 a pop?

Be careful with the tire you choose. The kdw are awesome in rain and dry weather, but the kd's are designed for dry roads only. I have driven on them in the rain exactly twice, got caught in a thunderstorm both times and its scary as hell.

I don't have to worry about that, I don't have a high powered car.

I try not to drive the maro in anything but dry weather, but shit happens, that's why I would get the KDW's and not the KD's. I'll probably wait till spring to buy ALL the shit I need to fix this damn car.

Do those snow tires actually work wonders on these cars in snow? I think they are called blizzaks, but can't remember. Some people only have the maro and have to drive it year around and some have these for the snow. Do they help make the car behave in snow?

ya sorry to change the subject but i had to take my car tonight to the tranny shop to get the flywheel fixed and i am driveing my old truck that i sold to my step dad it is a 99 silverado 4.8 vortec 4x4 shortbed regular cab and wow, i hate to say it but i miss that thing. Man i did not realize how much power it has. It would whip my camaro's ass. i was on getting on the highway to day doing 45 and i just layed on it and she SCREAMED up to 65. i was so impressed what she would do even with 113,000 miles on it. And sorry 6 that we are all not as bigh of whores as you.

On a lighter note, I finally got my game together and kicked ass in bowling tonight. I bowled a 588 series, that's a 196 average for the night! Its about damn time.

My highest game bowling was a 217.

I'm super pissed, my mom bought a god damn 1 thousand dollar vacuum today. What a waste!

My high game so far is a 266. No 300 yet, but I think it will come in the next 2 years.

A $1000 vacuum? It better make a damn good latte for that price. Never heard of one so expensive, does it charge car batteries or pick up mice?

That's not bad at all, most people can't even break the 160's. In fact, most people would love to hit the 200 mark. A 200 game is nothing to be ashamed of, unless you have bowled for 5 years non-stop with a custom $400 ball. I got my 266 game with a house ball, if that tells you anything.

My 217 was with one of their bowling balls. I lost interest in it after a couple of months...

I stole a houseball tonight. I while ago, I left my bowling ball at a different bowling alley, so I had a bowling bag and shoes, with no ball. And its been that way for some time now, so I decided to stick with this one and snagged it after the league was over. I'm a bad man.

The house balls are abused more, have dents and grooves in them making them less accurate...other than that, I don't know.

Yes, there are huge differences. Houseballs are used by everyone and aren't taken care of. Along with lots of wear and tear, its plastic and soaks up oil from the lane. This makes the ball slide more and is more difficult to hook and control.
Custom bowling balls are made to fit the grip of one person. They measure your hand for the right grip and size the holes. Weight of the ball is also important and can be custom made, usually down to the tenth of a pound. Then there's the material its made out of. Plastic is cheap and is crap and they almost don't make custom ones out of plastic. Polyurethane is good because its solid, doesn't absorb oils as much, resists stress cracking and serves other functions as well.
I don't know much about bowling balls, but that is what I do know. My last ball was polyurethane.
