i found out that knight rider is on 3 times a day now on sleuth, yay. i hate those gay reality shows like amazing race and survivor. ive seen house a few times but im not to keen on it. the powerblock, overhaulin, american chopper, and mythbusters are like the only other things i watch. o i almost forgot south park

South park is the greatest show in the history of TV :grinyes: . I use to love charmed too but sadly it went away. Oh friggin well, I am sure something else with three super hot chicks with powers will come along sooner or later :uhoh:

*poking my head in the banter thread* I like to consider mythbusters to be the "half-mythbusters." They like to assume that if they fail at doing the myth, than it is impossible. I'm pretty sure I have seen a couple things they didn't do that I could have done. Like the personal helicopter pack. I could build one.

Then prove them wrong and make some money off of it.

I would but I lack motivation and their huge machine shop.

South Park is great.. best episode is 'Good times with Weapons' that was just awesome how they made fun of Japanese anime.

But I would have to say my all-time favorite so far would have to be the 'shitty wall' one where the owner of "City Walk" Chinese Restaraunt builds a wall around the entire city to keep criminals out. I need to watch that one again.

I will say that, that one episode did make me laugh out loud the most of any Southpark episode. But after the 2nd time I saw it, it wasnt all that lol funny although it is great.. but I do find the good times with weapons with more life.

al this talk of tv makes me wanna buy a tvo (especially for south park)

I just started watching South Park a lot because we just got a satellite dish. I grew up my entire childhood with basic channels. So I had about 8 channels to chose from. But now, I got a few more, but the only one I really wanted that we didn't get (because it was only in the top-end package) was the Speed channel. But Spike and Comedy Central are good.

u got dish network didn't u? direct tv is cheaper, gives u more channels (including speed, even in the regular package), and you own the equipment.

Ive only watched about 15 episodes of southpark on TV, the rest ive seen on my computer. I literally downloaded every episode from season 1-8.. a bit from 9 and then I deleted them all cause I didnt watch em anymore.

Well, I'm not paying for it, so I don't have to worry about it. But the package that my parent's picked out was the cheapest out of ANY available from any company. I would have liked to have the huge selection of channels, but not my call. Yes, it is dish network, but is was cheaper than anything that Direct offered.

direct tv gives you speed in hte basic package now? I have an upgraded package, but when I first got dtv (like 5 years ago), speed was not on the basic package.

yea its in the total choice package. i have total choice plus which gives me like 15 or so more channels like all the discoveries, diy, and more xm radio stations. but speed is in the basic package

I have the total choice plus package as well... thats why I didn't know it came with the basic.

I dl EVERYTHING from a couple of sites online, most gets hosted through rapidshare (yes it sucks, but it's free). BTW, Nip/Tuck was freakin' awesome, I love that show!

Im finally watching a southpark episode I havent seen.. its the 'Christian Rock Hard' episode.. and man its awesome.

Only reason I havent seen it is cause when I downloaded it, it was in crappy quality and I was like "F that" :lol:

I use to use limewire and utorrent. now I just use utorrent cuz limewire has 2 many problems..

Seeing as we just got the dish, I don't see my parents upgrading to DTV anytime soon. But I would love to have the speed channel, I'm just too cheap to pay the difference in the package prices. That's why I don't smoke or do drugs, because I'm cheap.

I honestly don't remember what I used to use to download vids. I think it was Kazaa.

ive always had the speed channel...even tho i never had dish..i had back when it was...speedvision....the one channel i always wanted tho was discovery wings channel. or nasa channel

Don't watch much tv anymore, there are some great shows out there, but unless you watch them religously from get go one, youre one lost soul (ie 24, the shield and such)

I think that;s how they build up to the season DVD sales.

I'll stick to racing, wrestling, anything Speed, and caught Overhaul'n last night. Any show where the use of a cold beer is social works for me :thumbsup:

the one channel i do want to get is the outdoor channel. thats where they moved hotrod tv, 4x4 television, and some other shows to. its a premium channel though so its not included int he total choice stuff.
i use bearshare to download stuff cause its free.

House, CSI, Nip/Tuck, Horsepower TV, Muscle Car, Extreme 4x4, Trucks, Miami Ink, Mythbusters, and the movie channels.
Only things you need to watch on tv.
