I'm so freakin tired. I had to be up at 4 this morning, but my sleep schedule is so messed up. So I had a few drinks last night after I got off work and after my hour run to get me tired. I fell asleep at 10, woke up at 12, and layed in bed for 4 hours until I had to be up. Its stupid. I've been up for 14 hours already. I want to take a nap, but I don't want to so I can sleep good tonight. I like sleep.

i'm bored. who wants to go see a movie with me (i was gonna ask a girl friend of mine but she's studying..... bitch)

Debating whether or not to go for a run tonight. Its 10:30 in the pm here. Its wet outside and probably humid. I don't want to run in the neighborhood tonight, but the closest track is a 10 minute drive. To go or not to go.

some guy on a bike got flatened by an astro van the other night on the major road that runs next to the store i work at. not a pretty sight. i was on break when it happened. the bike is now behind a dumpster at the denny's next door.

That's exactly what I don't want to happen to me. I should invest in some light bands that I can wrap around a limb so people can see me at night. The roads aren't too busy but I'd rather not wind up on the morning news. But my parental units said that more rain and a bigger storm it coming this way. :runaround: So I don't know what I'm going to do.

when i was on the train yesterday, i saw a class of ~50 kids out on a school trip, and they all had to wear reflective yellow vests. i felt sorry for them.

Almost as smart as me sitting in a metal chair tonight outside while filming the lighting... It didn't dawn on me until I was sitting there for about 10 minutes and then I thought uh oh... lol

well on one occasions i was at work and had to retrieve shopping carts in a thunderstorm. shouldn't have done it cause the denny's next door got hit by lightning as i was pushing them inside. i won't do that again.

i want to be on the fucking water right now. i hate not being active, all i do it sit around, eat, and drink beer.

so i might have got myself a job. (go me!)

we went to the local tyre/exhaust fitters today (we've been going there ~15 years) to get a new exhaust for my sisters car. the guy who ran it for the last 13 years has gone, but the guy there now is really nice. he ordered he parts in.

my mum asked if i could fit them, and he said yes. i asked about his insurance, he said "well i'm not gonna tell anyone if you don't." so went back when they parts arrived, and fitted them. i was talking to him and asked if he had any jobs going, he said he'd give me a 2-day trial, and if i was any good and a good worker he'd give take me on.

so i start the first of two days tomorrow morning at 8:30am.

i'm excited! wish me luck!

yeah, i'd be a tyre and exhaust fitter. not exactly glamorous but it's work and it's cars. i aint complaining, i think it's a pretty good first job. and i get paid cash for the two trial days.

i think i should get the job, i don't doss around when there's work to be done, and i know how to fit tyres and exhausts. the two guys who work there are really nice.

it's a small place, basically one unit with a corner storefront, and two lifts. (a 4-post and a 2-post)

Well, that's a start. Sounds like fun for awhile. I think after a long time though, it would get old. Sure I like working on cars, but if it isn't my car, sometimes the motivation isn't there. But sounds basic and a good start. Even a nice hobby. I wish I could find a job like that around here.

just because they don't have a place going doesn't mean they won't take you on. when my dad ran his companies he'd take people on because they were interesting and they had potential. they were people who asked for a job even when there were no places being advertised.

haha i went to school with alot of asians (boarding school, 60% of the school was asian, most came from hong kong, taiwan and korea) and i know all about that korean rage.

On the fireworks, it's all fun and games til someone gets hurt. I myself after years of hosting 'shows' in careful fashion have retired. As of almost 2 years ago now when I was launching mortar shells on a nice calm night and out of nowhere it got really windy and the tube started sakcing with on that was jsut lit in it. Paying more attention to specatators and propertly I thoughtlessly dove and held the base steadu so the tube wouldnt tip over and the damn shell went off right there.

I don't know how I didn't blow my damn arm off. At the time I thought it went off a few feet over the ground as iI knew it dudded right away. So next morning I went out to clean up and curiousity made me want to find the the tube, well when I found it, it was blown in half a few inches up from the base, hence I'm done, it's somebody elses turn.

Additionally, when I did fire them off, if I had 2 dudds of the same type firework, those were done for the night. :2cents:

i'll probably be working on the 4th but we always set off a ton of fireworks in the parking lot. i will be going to see transformers sometime next week. im not doing anything fun untill the following week, nickelback/stained/daughtry concert and a day trip to six flags.

Well, after 40 hours of survival spanish....I have managed to learn most of the cuss words. It is great!

Havin a huge party for the 4th..its my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary....500+ dollars worth of fireworks my family alone...+175 otherpeople..and their fireworks....=kids a cryin, shits a flyin.

well tonight i'm having an early CANADA DAY party, fireworks and shit start after 12 so we don't get screwed with another firearms violation. then sunday night i'm gonna find somewhere to get drunk in honor of the greatest country in the world (talking about canada btw) and blow more shit up.
