Skipping details and such...but she is sending me mixed signals right now. I am very good at reading people and situations and she is usually very transparent and easy to predict and read. But right now, I can't get a good read on her. Her actions are odd and are throwing me off. I don't know what to do right now, so, just for now, I am going with the flow of things and such. If you want details for the hell of it, since there isn't much of a topic on this thread right now, just give me the go-ahead.

Ok, so here's the story thus far...but where to begin??? I guess I'll short-hand the beginning and then get into the present details.

So, this girl and I split a year ago after going out for 14 months. She lied to me why she left me and started dating other guys. So I picked up what was left of my heart and made the best of it. She never got over me and so she slowly worked her way back into my life (even though we work together). Yada yada yada...parents go out of town and I have people over. She finds out about it and asks if she could come. My mistake, I say yes and we all hang out. Well, this is the first time in a year that we hung out, but she winds up staying the night and I am piss-ass wasted. We mess around, I guess second base. Then the next night, my friend has a party and we let her come. We mess around again. Next week, b-day pool party for my best friend, we let her come. Afterwards we do the deed at her house till 4 in the morning.

So, we start hanging out for the next few days and have some good conversations. She asks me if I could ever see us getting back together. I basically tell her that its up to her. She has to prove to me that she is ready and the same shit won't happen again. She agrees with me. She also wants to impress my parents again cause she knows that she f-ed up, which are both positive signs.
But, before we started talking again, she was dating another guy from work. She told me they never slept together, but I've seen them kiss. (This will be a big thing later on.)

Fast forward...(sorry about the background being long...)

She bought an extra ticket to a Breaking Benjamin concert and wants me to go. After debating it, I agree. We go, have a good time. But after the night, I realized that I was the one making all the small moves, like moving in to kiss her, or holding her hand, small shit like that. but anyways, we start talking about shit again. I tell her straight up that I don't like her and the other guy hanging out, makes me uncomfortable about everything. She tries to reassure me that they are just friends now and that she isn't interested in him like that... yada yada yada.

Over the next few days, I find out that they have been hanging out together and shit. (Oops, I left this out. She is 3 years older than me. She is 23 and I am 20. One of the reasons she broke up with me is because I wasn't 21. She was going out to bars and the casino and I couldn't. She wasn't happy that I couldn't go with her...weird, huh? But this other guy is 21, so he can go to those places.)
Anyways, I confront her about it again and tell her that I feel that she isn't putting in the effort to make this work. She's the one that wants this to happen. But I come to find out that they are still hanging out and she isn't being too reassuring to me.
The burden of proof is on her to convince me that she wants this and that shit isn't going to get messed up again. But I keep getting mixed signals. She likes being with me and I can tell she is trying to make me happy and impress my parents. But on the other hand, she isn't calling me like she used to, or giving me the attention that she used to. Plus, she's still hanging out with this other guy, even though she knows I don't like it.

Oh shit, I left out something. Ok, so after the concert, I don't hang out with her again for a whole week. But I got tickets to a baseball game and take her. We have a good time and I pay for the entire evening. But remembering the concert, I don't make any moves of affection the entire night to see what she would do. She didn't do anything till she was leaving my house and she wanted a couple hugs and a few kisses.

So, she says she wants things to work, she wants to start hanging out again and impress me and my parents. But on the other hand, she still does things I don't agree with, she isn't calling like she used to, she isn't as affectionate as she used to be. Mixed signals...Plus I haven't gotten any in a few weeks, because we don't hang out very much, which is driving me nuts. AHHH...

Some more small, important details.

So, the night before the ball game. We plan on hanging out that day and then going to the game in the evening. Before I leave work, she tells me how excited she is about us hanging out the next day, so now I'm excited to. I sleep late, so I expected her to call and wake me up. She doesn't. So, I call her at noon and she calls me back. She tells me she is going to go lay out in the sun and tan a little. So, I'm like, whatever, I'll go for a run. Well, I wait around and she doesn't wind up calling me till 4. She told me she hung around her house and did her laundry and cleaned up a bit. What happend to being excited about hanging out all day? Another mixed signal. I had my hopes up for a letdown. If you were excited about something, wouldn't you skip that shit? She could tell I was pissed about it later too.

Well, let me rephrase that, I want to tell her that everything is off until she knows what she really wants, but if I do that, I will feel inclined to say that the second chance failed. And I don't give third chances. Just not in my book.
