PS- In a effort to make it easier to go between the Firebird and Camaro forum from each other there has been a sub link added that will take you directly to the other forum rather than having to go threw the main forum then to Pontiac or Chevy. On a more serious note, I just installed my y-pipe on my longtubes and now, I think the car is QUIETER than when I just had the catback on. I know I ran the car open for a few days and my hearing could be desensitized to the loudness, but even trying to be reasonable about it, my car doesn't rumble like it used to. It doesn't get the head turns at lower RPM's and when I get on it, it doesn't scream like it used to. I know it would help to get sound clips up, but I can't, so...is it just me, or have other people felt this way when getting LT headers? I'm really disappointed in the exhaust note right now and I don't know what I'm going to do about it. I don't want to buy a different muffler or cat-back...

I've owned a few f*rds, never had good luck with them. Seems like I'm always changing stupid parts on hers, and on the ones I owned as well. I will never own another, I just don't like them.

Here's a story for you.

I get my 3.42's done yesterday as most know. I'm driving to work, have about 5 miles on the gears and as I'm slowing down I hear a pop, like a shotgun blast and hear a ton of debris bouncing around and sounding like the gears were chewing it up. I pull over and look around a get back in the car and decide to gimp it to work. I get to work and call mom and have her follow me home after work to make sure I make it home. On the way home I decide if it's going to break, it's going to break and floor it and the gears held up fine and got me home.

I have no clue what it could be, I heard something snap and could hear a bunch of debris rattling around. It's making too much noise to have only lost 1 or 2 teeth and drives way too good to have lost more than that. I get the car in the garage and pull off the wheel and take off the caliper and that bracket around it and pull off the hub. Those damn emergency brake adjustment things had snapped off and were rattling around inside the hub, of all things to have broken, that was my favorite!

it looks cool but its slow, even with the LS2. not alot of bang for the buck. i think it is being discontinued

amazing story today...I was at work in best buy, and a storm came through... For some reason down here in alabama, there seems to be a lot more lightning with storms than everywhere else, but anyway... The store got hit by lightning! on the inside! it was awesome it sounded like a shotgun in a warehouse there were sparks shooting everywhere and just before the explosion noise, the lightning was a small blue ball. ball lightning...amazing

Dodge Rams are sweet, but I would like to have a Silverado if I had to have a truck, or maybe an Avalanche.
The SRT-10 Ram would be a fun toy to have, with its 10MPG in all its glory.

SSR is being discontinued after this year or the next, forgot which.

Chevy does make good trucks also.. I mean just look at the Avalanche.

I'd rather take the duramax over the stroker.

The problem wiht the SSR IMHO is its to damn fat to be factory fast.
