Yea it's getting like that here too. It might be a blessing in disguise, maybe now they'll get some long awaited recognition and a rise in aftermarket product availability.

Omg it's getting the same here too ...... i thought maybe since i got my 3kgt, i started noticing them more on the streets, but i actually think more and more ppl are getting them. I musta seen about 7 3kgt's in a 5 days! Before i used to see 1 every month or NOT even. lol Everytime i see another 3kgt/stealth driver i honk or give em the thumbs up lol gotta represent.

! I had my first official race about 2 days ago. I was pulling out of my job and a Volks Gti starts flashing his lights at me. He passed me up and we ended up at a red light with about a 1/4 mile 2-lane straight away, the perfect setting. Absolutely No cars in front of us. He asked me if i wanted to race so i said sure. Soon as the light turned green i was OUT. Shifted from 1st to 2nd at 6,000rpms. Soon as i reached 2nd gear i pulled away from him FAST. When i shifted to 3rd i was about 10 car lengths ahead. LoL out of pity i powered down. He was a friend i knew from highschool. I was like "Yo what happened man lmao?" He's like "Man i have 115hp." Which i knew was a complete lie. His GTI is 2003-2004, he had just gotten it. I dont think any new gti models come with that low amount of hp .... and he told me it was 1.5 liter ..... whatever. Anywayz he was tryna act cool and got Smokkkkkkkkkkkkkked. First race 1-0 :) w00t!!!

lol oh yea then i realized we raced 1block away from the town Police Station. Phew ........

One thing is for shure.... there aren't any more on the road lol. Nice kill with the hitler wagon, Zeig heil Bush!

I tell ya what, ever since i got my 99 sl last year, i've really noticed an increase of 3000gts around my area. My friends have noticed it as well. I think our cars are gaining popularity.

ps: It really sucked when my vr4 was in the shop because i see these 3000gts, bases and sls and i'm thinking....where is my vr4 when i want it...damn.

Hmmmmzzzz. I was out around midnight today on the high way and an Acura TSX starts flashing his lights behind me. My friend in the passenger says "Oh shyt man he wants to race!". So i'm like "lol! Cool fo real?" I had no idea it was a TSX because he was pretty far behind me. When he caught up i expected to see the "L" lexus logo because it looked like a Lexus lol. Anywayz i slowed down so he could catch up. He speeds up from behind me and gets into the left lane and we're side by side going at about 50mph and absolutely no traffic. He accelerates first and pulls a little, so i step down on the pedal and pull even FASTER. I saw that i was beating him lol so i slowed down. He tries to pass me up again and i step down on the pedal again and pulled away from him. I did this about 8-10 times maybe even more lol ...... i was only on 3rd gear going from 50-70 sometimes 4th doing 90. He never pulled on me once and i was completely toying with him! I PULLED, powered down, PULLED powered down, PULLED, powered down lol and he was trying SO hard to pass me but couldn't! w00t!!! so yea that's my story, i pw3nd a TSX today.

Wow I just looked up the specs of the TSX... 200hp, 166 tq and it's like as heavy as the base/sl.... such a sad car, why did they put a 6 speed in a 4 banger sedan? lol.

Poor engineering? lol Wow i can not WAIT to get my V-R-4!! :) I think i want to make my SL just a little faster until i get my vr4.

After that race my cousin tried to pass me in his Honda Civic Dx .... so u know how THAT went :\ lol Cruisin' is soooooooooo funnnnnnn weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :)

They're well engineered but they're no sports sedan like they claim to be. I jsut got my SL and am in hte process of selling it and next year will be the VR4.... Just gotta get a job on campus lol.

I'd like to have a vr4 but kinda low on cash ... maybe one day.. my dream 99' vr-4 black or white.... O YAH!

Hehe Don't wait too long because they're going quick! :) I know I can't afford a VR4 so I've settled on an SL. Love her too! :biggrin:

hahaha, I have named every car I've ever owned, thats so funny, I thought I was the only one, my cars name is Musashi, hence my screen name.

Cool! My grl has an auto/semi-auto 3rd gen Eclipse GT and his name is Tyler! lol I think she can probably run neck n neck with my SL. Or maybe .......... Sage and Tyler can get together and exchange fluids ;)

Dang 20 minutes? that pretty fast.. lol i think i have a few virses on my computer.. i have no anti-virus software.. also when i type stuff on this site.. i have to go back and add letters to words or spaces between them cuz it leaves letters out.. about half the letters, ..gets very annoying!

Viruses are gay ........ but if i get one or more, and my computer is ridiculously slow, i just reformat my computer. I put my system recovery disc and reinstall everything and it's as good as new. The only thing that sux is that you have to back up all your files. That's a bitch if you're like me, and have like 40gb of music and videos. When my computer crashed due to a virus about 4months ago ..... i had to take it down to a repair center, and they backed up all of my files ...... on *5 DVD's .... lol close one though, i could've lost everything, phew!

i think i might be more anal about my computer then i am my car. My two biggest invenstments. Although I have started neglecting my computer to spend time rubbing my car with a diper ever since i bought her.

hey guys, a little help here. I am updating my sig and stuff but I am having a hard time getting my pics on this site! I know how to do it but the problem is the files are too big I guess, can anyone tell me how to shrink them? my camera is already at minimum picture size.

Do you have any photo editing software? Photoshop, paint shop pro?

photoshop and MSPaint.

well in MS paint under the image menu select strech/skew and then change the horizontal and vertical percentage to whatever smaller percent you want. If you want to use photoshop let me know and i can answer that when i get home from work.

Hm my cousin and i are going to go around cruisin this weekend. He has a 1995 Toyota Supra Non-turbo. He asked me if i wanted to race on the highway, so if i do race him it's gonna be from a roll. So i'm wondering if i could take him from a roll or not .... hmmmmmx0rz! He has an exhaust and i'm guessing an intake. Besides that .... noting else. He also has a system in his car. I will be taking mine out before the weekend teehee! Fwd vs. Rwd from a roll?

My friend is selling me a universal chip that's suppose to trick my engine into giving the car more hp, up to 20 more. I'm sure EVERYONE has heard of these lol. Do they really work? It's gonna cost me $5 .... and he's gonna install it. If it does nothing at all then .... why bother. I'm totally skeptical though.

Oh and also, if it's gonna hurt my car , i'm DEFINITELY not going to have it installed.

I really doubt it will do anything helpful...how is a universal chip going to help. If it is universal, it wasn't programmed according to your fuel maps and such, so how is it going to know what new parameters to give the ECU. It is probably just a cheap resistor that lies about the ambient temps of the intake. I wouldn't bother, it seems like the same crap they sell on ebay.

these types of things are usually not a "chip" but rather a 10 cent resistor that makes your ecu read incorrect values from it's sensors and then make changes accordingly that could add a few hp. i would NOT install it because i just do not trust sketchy things like that. if you want cheap hp get a mbc and up the boost to about 14.5 and gut your precats, that should get you about 360 crank hp or something in that range.

just right click a blank spot on your main screen and go to properties
