Got one the day i go back for my check up on the 31st of this month. What actually cause the collapase according to the docotors my size/weight it just happens. Spontanious somthing another i'll look up the actual term later. Trust me the first question i asked was how. Vert that is some crazy stuff they think arson or possible fraud if its arson i'd watch my sh*t to. Also slight rant how many of your do your g/f and her mom fight? I mean like somtimes even slaps from mom to daughter alot of bad comments from mom to daughter. Alot or move outs and cruel remarks bout looks,charcter,friends. My g/f and her mom don't see eye to eye alot and i'm just wondering is it the fact they are both irish *my g/f is irish and VERY red headed* and maybe they just clash or what.

well my gf is crazy about her mother, obvoiusly they annoy each other at times, but they are alot closer than I am with my mother. I do have friends like that though that really don't get along, especially the people I hung out with prior to college (during HS). Honestly, that is why I'm such a strong advocate of moving out of the house and going AWAY for college/military/something. Just for a few years, because it is really the way to define your own independence and be yourself away from their judgement. I know it did wonders for my relationship with my mom. Just my .02

:iagree: Definitely true! Only thing is that once you go away, you gotta stay away...even if you move back around the area! I find that the freedom that I knew when I was in college and the rules that my parents have clashes a lot (DUH). Guess it's just that once you're their kid, you'll always be their kid....even if you're 23. :p Damn college loans! :banghead:

I actually had to move back in with my parrents for a while after I was married. My dad had his house almost siezed cause the mortgage company he use to pay went out of business, they sold thier propriotorships to another company. my dad called the company and told them "hey I havent recieved a bill in over three months, what happend" so sure enough my dad started getting the bill a few days later. after 8 months the bill stops comming in. to make a long story short the account that had billed him was a fake, one of the previous owners had set up a fake account and stollen millions from other homeowners who used to belong to the old mortgage company. we got into the legal bit but there was over 8 months of unpayed bill stacked up and my dad was gona get foreclossed. I had to sell my appartment to pay for the overdue ammount and move in with them so they wouldnt loose the house. can you imagine that? 25, married and had to move back in with mom and pops!
I really didnt care cause I'm a son helping out his folks and my wife gets along with them great so we never had any problems.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can transfer a file that's 4.5 gigs from one computer to another? I don't have a DVD burner so I can't do it that way...any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

^ I think that's pretty much the only way... well unless someone has aim, and a cable modem... you can do a direct feed to eachother, and send the file from one computer to another

Ended up alright, they said there's a 30% chance of it happening again, and if it does they have to operate and "glue" my lung so it can't collapse. I've actually felt it collapsing a little bit here and there, it "pops" back out though after a while.

Yah thats it but i had three of those tubes and they had to *glue* mine Cause when they took out the first tube it collapsed again. They found in surgury i actully had to holes in my lung instead of just the one. **for those or you ensure bout the glue thing, They go in and remove part of your lung, then *Scar* it back to the chest wall to prevent the collapse from happening again**

Yeah, we both have aim but he has dial-up so that aint gonna work. I know we could do it if we were both on the same network but we're not so that's out of the question. All you need is a cheap router, a 5 port one can run you as little a like 25 bucks for a d-link, and a couple network cables, and each of you will need a nic, now you should already have one and most new mobo's and pc's have them... thats a network card (nic). now, install cards, plug in cables in each pc's card, plug other ends into router, run network setup in windows (also guessing you are running windows) may take a few shots to get the settings right, but if you can get it so you can see each other or just one can see the others stuff in "my network places" then it is all good. now if his pc shows up and he cant see you, just move the file into whatever shared folder he has, if he can see you but you cant see him, just move the file into the folder he can see on the network.

Another option if you have a cd burner, you can download winrar, rar the file into segments, burn the segments onto a couple discs, then he can copy the files off onto his system and then un-rar them.

Awesome ChrisGood! I will try that...except I'm gonna have to wait for my gf to send me my router because I'm too cheap to go out and buy another one. :p But yeah, so I'll try the router route first. Thanks again man.

If you both have nic your could buy/make a crossover cable be just as easy if not easier then networking of crompressing the file. Also what kind of file is it cause if its a video file and your winrar it has been know to cause some quality isssues. But that is just my 2 cents. *Also this is why u should buy/build a usb HD.*

very funny! actually I've been going through hell down here. Just in case you all didnt know I had a category 3 hurricane come through here a few days ago. the eye passed 75 mile north of my home.....that means I had 120+ mph winds tearing the roof off my house for 6 hours straight.
I had no electricity for 3 days, the water is contaminated cause the winds knocked out the purifing station, there is garbage all over the roads, no telephones, people looting and breaking into homes at night, national guard has a curfue at 8:00 p.m. but they are no where to be seen, and you have to wait in line for 6 hours to get 5 gallons of gas.

I just got power a little while ago, I figured my trusty sidekick would of been worried, organize a search party or something, instead I find him and my NorCal home boy cohorting and advertising my "alleged" activities online! :eek:

you guys wanna know the worst part? I still have no TV cause the dish got missaligned. :angryfire

at least my cars are OK, no gas but OK.

nope. cant say that i have :) .. i need to update that pic now, i just put a neon in the front bumper so those openings now glow red as well. the fender well lights i have are only available in california right now an just came out like 2 weeks ago. cuz they pulse an strobe, an anything u can think of. i also have em tied into the alarm :)

Well I knew I had some great story I wanted to tell you guys...but in all honesty, I simply can't remember what the hell it was. But as I rack my brain thinking, I'll just tell you the mediocre and moderately funny stuff.

1) I saw the ugliest freaking 3000gt I have ever seen. I think the guy was transforming it into a camaro. It was white with blue racing stripes, had a really long nose...havn't ever seen it before, but it really resemebled a camaro. And a HUGE freaking wing, I'm talking like add 2ft on top of hte '99 spoiler and you get the idea. It was a plain sqaure/hoopish style wing, but WAY too high up.

2) So at work last night we return from delivering cars, and there is some shady SUV sitting behidn the shop among the cars, blocking our path. We get right in front and our driver lays on the horn. This obviously startles the driver of aforementioned shady SUV who pops it in reverse and starts backpedaling.
As we watch him attempt to clear the path, it is obvious this guy has never navigated this 'parking lot' before, as he doesn't move out of hte way, just keeps going backwards. I realize this and smile and say "how great would it be if he doesn't see the wall and backs right into it?" (refering to a 3 foot tall concrete wall jutting out into the parking lot directly behind this moron.
Sure enough he nails it at like 25mph in reverse with enough force to pop the back end of his explorer off the ground. We pass him and he floors it out without even getting out to check the damage. Upon inspection of the wall, which was missing two nice chunks, I'd guess his exhaust and rear bumper are screwed up pretty nicely. We all had a good laugh over that one.

3) some new guy at work is claiming he has a mopar stage 3 'dyno-tuned' srt4 running low 12s with 380ish FWHP. (can't remember exact numbers) The car is black, tinted, dropped, with an ugly side exhaust, and a stage 2 badge on the back. Anyway, it wont be long before somebody races him for proof and I'm sure a good story will result.

he says somthing like 4 or 6 PSI... I'm thinkin' hmmm that's funny that he knows a proper boosting level, but he doesn't know what an s/c looks like, so I asked him
"where's your boost guage at" and he goes "Ohh I don't have one right now, I'm getting one tomorrow..." so I said "mmmhmmm, how many horses you puttin' down" he goes "280" I said "at the crank or the wheels??" he goes "why does it matter, they're both the same." I just shook my head a left... the best part is two days later I overheard him telling his friends that he took out the both EVOs and the rsx-s that goes to our school, and that I was next... damn ricers

I really wanna hear that story though govert, if it's anything as good as the 3k with the skyscraper on the back of it.

tonight, my friend took me for a ride in his manual 3kgt. an man, that thing is much faster than my auto. it pulled me back in the seat. it had me thinkin...wheres the turbo? lol but im definetly gettin a manual transmssion now. i donno what it is bout his car. but we have the exact same exhaust set up an his car sounds different than mine. mine has a more deaper sound,an his sounds more like motor. but his is a 95, must have somethin to do with he stock exhaust set ups. cuz we both have it cut off behind the cat, an ran back duals.

hmmm, a stage 3 SRT-4 makes 355 hp on race gas and about 320 on high oct.
I can see it running high 12s but still. well I guess if he tunned the exhaust and did more turbo work he could see 380. I know most SRT-4 owners are ex-civic owners who now ACTUALLY drive a fast car but there are alot of real deal Mopar guys too that know thier shyt.

out of curiosity by the time you went stage 3 mopar wouldn't it be better just to put in a t3/t4 hybird,fmic,better fuel pump, and injectors. Then push 375-385 on premium??? Just my 2 cents. Ne way i'm seriously thinking bout boosting my camaro that sits in the back yard un-insured does nebody know sombody that does 90-92 camaro 5.0tpi turbo kits? Well in other news, I have a new reason to stay alive, well at least till November 16th. the new Need For Speed Most Wanted. have you guys seen this? its way out there, blows underground away. new physics, new higher graphical detail, race as a fugitive or as a cop and catch run away tunners. Build up and customize anything. they have from a celica to a Lamborgihni (sp) Murcielago.
New live action character instead of the old CGI or Comic Book style storyline. the cops got tunned out cars too, freaking Maclaren F1 cop cars and vipers and shyt.

im a lucky guy i guess..... i was at a light tonight. kinda pissed bout some guys talkin smack bout my car.. since they were standin outside the place while this happened. so light turned green an i floored it an held it there. until i saw some red a blue flashes. an suddenly let off... the speed limit was 55 an i was at 55 when i let off an the cop was aways behind me. so he came flying up on me an just got right up on my bumper. an stayed there for a few miles. i thought for sure he would have pulled me, but im sure he woulda if i had went 1 mile over. but i dont think there is a law sayin how fast u can take off?? but gladly he flashed his lights or i woulda kept going up to like 90

What where they saying about your car?

There is no law as to how fast you can accelerate but it can be considered dangerous or hazerdous driving I guess.

I asked in a defensive driving class, and again somewhere else (don't remember) and both times I was told you could get a ticket for accelerating TOO quickly. Now what in their minds is TOO quickly is up to debate. But I think you would get a racing ticket, or exhibition of speed, or wreckless driving...something stupid like that.

i donno., as soon as i pulled up in the parkin lot they were just walking towards me an like wanna race that??.. i jus tried to ignore them an walked in the gas station.. then when i came out, the guy was standin at the door, an he was like.. is that ur white car? i was like yea.. an hes like, so u wanna race it? im like not really.. hes like y not? im like its an auto an plus its pretty much just a show car. so then one of the guys was like. so why did u fix it up if u arent gonna race it? an i jus looked at them like they were jackasses, an i was like, ill catch yal later. but dude was like, u wont even race a 4 cylinder?? plus he said his was an auto as well.. i dont care, it was nighttime out in the country, where would we of raced anyways? i wouldnt of taken a chance of going through there an a deer jump out an pretty much total my car..
