I can't wait to see the archery tonight, I wish there was an archery club at Syracuse, I need to shoot!

Basketball is the only black eye for the US team. Everyone else has competed hard and has won/lost pretty gracefully.

NO....on top of a hill. LOL :biggrin: Yeah, it's pretty bad because we get HORRIBLE reception. But my friend who has cable didn't get NBC either and had to call and request it before they got it. :rolleyes:

I go to a Small state school thats part of NY system. It's called :bigbreath: State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse... It actually has the longest name of any college in the US I think. My major is Environmental and Forest Biology, basically general ecology/biology. I'm not shure what I want to do but I might do Landscape architecture since I know it best (both my parents are Landscape architects... basically an architect thats more art and less glorified/payed). But I'm pretty shure I want to do something with ecology/biology... hopefully not teaching because I want to make money lol but what I like dosent play well to the big bucks.

Hehe, who told you architects don't get payed much? My dad owns his own buisness and gets away with paying himself $175/hr, and he's not even a regular architect, lowly landscape architect lol.

175 an hour!?.. let me come work for ur dad :) .. but an architect told me they dont get paid much, he said u would have to live in a big city to make a bunch.. but my dad pays me pretty good, i got all the stuff on my car from workin with him :)

Nah, he used to be back when he was in highschool, but now i just help him with his side jobs, weve built garages, added on to a house and remodeled the whole interior, built decks, put sidin on houses, shingles, replaced windows, anything really

Anyways.. has any1 ever seen 2 fast 2 furious.. ive seen it a few times... but i watched it earlier and went to the section on the dvd where it said watch tubo charged prelude... checked that out.. and paul walker had a red 3000GT that he was racin.. this was the car he had b4 he got that skyline.. cuz the cops were lookin for him an found his car. but if any1 has this dvd, u should check that out, its a 1st gen with a body kit an fiberglass wing... TT of course :) ..i think in the back it said GTO

so i went to this event called battle of the imports. if i would have actually raced i probably would have been the 4th fastest car there.

i just sorta assume that i would have been 4th, i beleive i should be in the low 13's high 12's area.

only reason i didn't race is because i just got this feeling that my trannie couldn't take another 6000rpm clutch dump.
i thought about it for awhile, and once i was about to go race and all of the sudden i lost my keys. took me 15 minutes to find them, someone had turned them in as i had left them on the bench.
also this other guy i know just got a vr4 and was getting a few upgrades done to compete in the battle, but his tranny blew as he was getting on the freeway 2 days before the event.
so, i guess once i pay off this personal loan then i'll risk my trannie, so if anything happens i have the money to repair.

Omg finally my computer works, I downloaded servivce pack 2 and it messed up my computer up so much the tech guys here at school have had it all week and it's still not totally fixed, no sound no video, no task panel (whatever that thing is called thats in the lower right corner), slow as hell, all the drivers are dead (which is why sound adn video won't work....it's totaly fucked.... never, NEVER, download a service pack (or anything from windows) unless it has been out at least 2 months! Ohh and links don't work either! [banghead]

Odd - I ran the update on my virtual machine install and everything worked great. I plan on installing it on the main OS next week. Guess, its a hit or miss operation.

Hey Thourun, I know what you mean bro. It's happened to me plenty of times. Whenever I update something whether it's virus scan updates or Windows OS updates, something usually goes wrong. Sometimes after awhile, it gets "better" and starts functioning properly again but other times its just gone. I told me gf to not let the stupid tech guys at our school update her computer but she let them update it because they said it's okay and what happens? Her computer freezes everytime she uses it for more than 5 minutes. I had to go back and clean up the stupid mess....jerks. Hehe :)

It was because I had jsut installed my new audio system (big 8.5" underdesk woofer and amp) and was using 110% of my processor while i was downloading and installing the update, I think it caused some errors which caused a loop whenever I would boot and all my drivers to get fucked up so now that it is kinda working but my new Cyber Acoustics system is relligated to my little sony walkman instead of the comp. I amd gonna re-install the update but I need a boot disc to get the cryptographic service working before it will let me intall it.

I jsut got off the phone with a friend who's a computer prodigy and he mirrored my thoughts on what I have to do, I'm going to go down to the tech center tomorrow and wipe it all and reinstall windows, having copied all my files and shit. Shouldent be too bad but I don't like the idea of totaly wipeing the hard disc lol. If I'm not on for a while after that it wnt badly lol and you can all think of me as that poor bastard who wanted to wipe his drive instead of fixing what problems he had. Wish me luck lol.

Turns out they don't back up music, pics, programs etc because of copyright shit so I went and bought an external drive and USB2.0/firewire PC card, it'll let me wipe it any time I want lol...... Its sad the external drive is 4x bigger then the one in my comp, it'll be a great place to keep my porno and anime lol.
