ok now that is said heres the story. So i'm doing my usual thing bout 9-whenever at night and sitting infront of the tatoo place with all my buddies. And alisha's x-fiance' and his new lady drive by and honk well she gets pissed and flips her off and calls her a bitch. Well a few hours later she shows up and here we go alisha tells her i'm not going to fight and they exchange words well the new girl smackes her well i must commend alisah b/c she didn't even flinch or goto strike back. then we call the cops etc.. they come no charges filed as of yet. And i'm pretty sure the tatoo place and straight shot *the store next door that one of my dads buddies owns* are going to tell them hey when one of u is here the other stays away. Which mean it will be like it is 9/10 us there adn them on the other end of town. Well thats ends my night. *as for being in aroudn there i think i'm gonig to stay at home and chill.

I got mine running today. The battery needed a recharge. After that, I swapped my donut for the worse of the 2 busted rims and limped it around for a bit. Even though I never took it above 40mph, it was damn good to have her up and running again. I had to get her off the property because my college lease was up. So now she is kinda running, but definantly not right....still need those 2 rims bad.

oh yeah, while it was in the shop, the also replaced the transfer case and something else that was recalled. car feels pretty nice, exept that when i'm at a stand still at a light or something, the temp starts going up, then when i start driving it goes back down ???

i'll have someone check it out here pretty soon, just need to stack up some more money

Well, here's an update on my gf's accident. The Claims Adjuster came by and looked at the car, took down statements, and did whatever else insurance people do. She said that from what my gf told her, it wasn't her fault but she still has to talk with the other guy who was involved in the accident. And if the insurance people conclude that it wasn't her fault then she will get her deposit back. So yeah, her car's in the shop and will be out in about 3 weeks or so. Do you guys know if her insurance will go up whether or not it was her fault? I tried PMing Gateway but he hasn't been on for awhile I guess... ;o/

Well, I don't know how it is at other states but in CA, when people get into an accident, cops don't come unless if someone is injured or killed. :screwy: So yeah, I don't know but the insurance adjuster person just said they'll determine who's at fault so I'm assuming that the actual insurance will do it it. :o/
The accident happened Monday night when my gf and her parents were coming home from a visit down in San Diego. They stopped at a red light and then made a right. 2 seconds later a truck hit her from behind--scraping her car from the back left bumper to the end of where the back door meets the front. The guy was making a left from the other side of the street. Anyways, kinda makes you wonder how fast the truck was going because the whole back window was shattered, bumper fell off, and the gas cap would barely open. :mad:

Damn he hit her hard. Here in KY the cops have to be called EVERYTIME if u dont' then its felony pretty sure. Ne way a girl i know grabbed her car antenna and flipped it fowards well it shattard her windshiled. Idk why the car is newer and it wasn't that hot outside *90 somthing, Yeah taht is hot for me but here it can get to 110 in summer* but it shattard it not cracked. So she is some deep shit.

I'm learning how to ride a motorcylce Woot i got the starting adn taking off thing down. As for cops pulling ppl over they are around here bad b/c they have meet there quote for the month. They pulled sombody over the other day and wrote them 4 tickets. Rolling through a stop sign,no headlight,no seat belt, ans somthing else. Also i herd they were using the radar gun *Checking into that b/c none of the cops around here are radar certified*

Anyways, anyone know if it's a good idea to consolidate or not to consolidate and what the pros and cons of both are? I'm getting frustrated trying to understand what they're saying. I mean, it's bad enough I don't understand the repayment process but trying to make out what the guy is saying is just overly annoying. :p What route are the other recent graduates going?

lol. the kit is from verticle doors an as u all prolly know they dont make it for the 3s. so i had to get the universal kit. the guy that is doin this for me said they are the best he has put on an said he would only put those on. the kit was 1600 an labor will prolly be anywhere from 1000-1500.. the thing about my car is that the front bumper an side skirts are molded on.. an the fenders gotta come off to get to it. put he called today an said he had the doors off an had the fenders undone an pulled back so he could have some room. he was hopin for the kit today but it may be tomarrow or friday before it gets there.. i know its gonna be a real pain in the ass installing this kit since the fenders cant come off :( but he does great work an i know he can pull it off.

but yea, i was hoping to go to the big show this weekend. but i dont think its gonna happen. never know, i could have brought home another 1st :) any1 know of any good sponsors? ive sent in e-mails to a few with pics, an no replies yet.

Here is all I know from a bit of my own research.

Pros: lower interest rates, fixed interest rates, lower monthly payments
Cons:
1) if the rates drop any lower in the next 10 years, you are stuck with the interest rates you got on your original consolidation
2) repayment begins immediately...you lose your 6 month grace period that most loans have after graduation


The way I see it...rates are the lowest they've been in decades...and are rumored to be going up July 1st. I don't care if they ever go lower again, because I'm getting quotes of 2-3%...and that is ridiculously low no matter what. Also I already started paying back one of my college loans, the parent loan my mom took out, and I want it in my name. So consolidation will put it in my name, and I'm already paying it, and I don't have to pay rent for my college housing any more, so the 6 month grace period, really doesn't matter to me. Basically, in my book, I see it as a clear cut easy decision. I'm going to do it. For most grads I know, they will consolidate. Some wont, but generally it is the way to go for most, as I understand it.


Off topic, I'm finally out of my house in NY and back in Philly for the time being. I think I hold the new record for miles on a donut. My donut has 1380 miles on it....so whoever said for 50 miles/temp use only doesn't know a damn thing...except that it probably damages wheel bearings....but that aside I think I hold a new 3S record :naughty:
Also I've had quite a few good races as of late, but rather than summarize, I'll just say they are all in the street racing section if anyone is interested.

Thanks Vert! Yeah, the people are sending me the forms for the consolidation stuff and I'm more than likely gonna go that route. Also, I actually found a way to keep the grace period in tact as well. Hehe There's just this one line that asks about when your grace period ends on the bottom of page 2 and if you put it down, they'll hold your application until then and still lock down the interest rate that we have now. I think that's pretty neat. Hehe :p

So I'm pretty sure my brother's computer has another virus (this one however, I can honestly say isn't my fault) It seems pretty innocous, except that and whenever I'm typing, be it on AF, in MS Word, email, anything, random words and sayings keep getting added mysteriously every 30 seconds or so. I'll be typing and then all of a sudden "the", or "and", or "in the end" will show up in the midst of my text....really weird and annoying.and an

To add to the enjoyment, I took off my plenum this evening to check the injector out...took about 25mins to get it off...then it starts to thunder and pour outta nowhere. So I closed the hood and came inside. On top of that, I dropped a small nut down near the heat shield of the rear turbo. I had a rag stuffed in the mouth of the turbo, so nothing would get in there...I didn't count one falling right next to the rear turbo. So I'll have to dig that out tomorrow.

Here's an update on my gf's accident. Her car's been in the shop for about two weeks now and the shop said that it would take about 3 weeks to fix her car. Thing is, they haven't even started yet!! The reason is that the insurance adjuster estimated the cost to fix the car at $2,200 (super LOW) and after the teardown by the shop, they said it would be more. The adjuster however wouldn't agree to the new estimate and said she'd talk to her supervisor but her supervisor actually came by the shop and took a look at the car and agreed to the shop's estimates. Still, the adjuster hasn't relented to my gf's car is just sitting there torn apart... UGH! :(

Gateway, is there anything we could do? Thing is, my gf's rent-a-car deal ends in about two weeks since she could only have it for a month (because her insurance only covers it for a month). She needs her car for work....is there anything we could do to speed this stupid process up? Damn, Vert was right....this is insane!
