at first I thought they might have a gun and thats why I headed straight for the police station. I see cop cars out all the time but this time there wassnt a one. I saw they where waiving a bat out the window while they chased me down so I figured "if they had a gun they'd wave the gun, not a bat!".
I grew up around alot of gangs, I never belonged but I had four close friends killed or molested by gangs, one was really close to me and was killed at 14 in a drive by. I know enough about bad people to know that really dangerous folk dont advertise themselves the way these pricks did. I know if they had a gun theyd shoot me first or pull it out before talking smack. If they really wanted my car they would of taken it by force.
they had no vissible tattoos, no scars on thier face, no colors. when you grow up on the street and have to steel or fight or kill to get around, that kind of life leaves stains all over man. these kids had better teeth then me!
I also was hoping the cops would come out and chase me down, for crying out loud I ripped through all of first gear in thier front door! I know they had to hear me.
I filled a report this morning but I'm sure no one will look at it, I didnt even have thier tags!

i know what you mean musashi, i too grew up in a bad area, all my friends exept 2 were in gangs and your right, if they were gonna do it, then they would have really done it, they were hoping you were a puss and just jump out and give them the keys and say dont hurt me.
but make sure you watch out for those guys, some people are very stupid and may try to do it again but the right way.

I started carring it after I got my permit but now I just keep it there more like traddition I guess. plus I'n Florida its not uncommon for drivers to break down and get killed by a gator or a panther. last year more then 12 people where killed by Panthers around the everglades. if I ever break down I'd rather have a 42 inch sword then a 6 inch k-bar trench knife.

So we went out last night because it was one of my coworkers birthday. By the time we were done at the restaurant, our check was $750!!!!!! Damn, I've never seen a check for that amount. But given that we had like about 20 people there, you would think that either 1-if everyone pay the same amount ($37.50) or 2-people just pay for what they ate plus tip then we'd be good right? Get this...after the money was collected from "everyone," we were freakin' $200 short! :banghead: A couple of us ended up having to freakin' shell out the rest since some of the people left/started leaving already. So yeah, big groups are fun but I HATE it when crap like this happens! :mad:

Well, my meal was about $20, plus a drink $5, plus tip (say $5) is $30 total...I initially paid $40, no biggie. But because of the whole ordeal, I ended up paying an additional $85--$125 total for a meal and a drink. :disappoin

Slade my girlfriend used to work in a private restarant/pub owned by a Rockafeller. So most of the guests were rich, etc. Well I can remember a time when a group came in and racked up an $800 bill, and then didn't give her any tip. Some people just suck.

That totally sucks Vert. Whoever got the tip from our table had it made though--$105!!!! They included the tip in our check... And Grit, yeah, the food was pretty good. :p I had a Grilled King Salmon and I usually hate seafood (I know I know) but this was pretty good! :) Not worth $125 though. :mad:

I need to vent.

So I moved back in with my mom this year after living alone for hte past 4 or so. It's rough at times, but financially we need to do it. Anyway, so what is currently driving me f-ing nuts is her car problems. Not that she has many, but when she does, it is like my opinion doesn't matter.

Example A) she leaves lights on over night, battery dies, jump start fails, battery recharge fails. I say all she needs is a new battery. Random guy at church says she needs new alternator. So she goes to a mechanic and gets charged $90 for him to swap in a $35 autozone battery.

More examples, but you get the point.

Current situation: Check engine light came on, I got is scaned at autozone, something to do with the fans...but it doesn't overheat and I drove it fine for 400 miles to NY and back. I work all week 14 hr shifts, so I didn't have the chance to fix it yet. She wants to go to a mechanic for this, when I tell her to give me a bit of time and patience until the weekend . Mind you the car runs fine, but no...she wants to pay somebody $70 an hour to do the same thing I can do.

Background: Our 'family' finances suck and we need to replace our heater. So I frown on stupid wastes of money like this.
I point this out, and she hits me with the low-blow: "well your car hasn't been working for quite awhile and you still havn't gotten around to fixing it"

I hear about my car constantly, from my boss, my co-workers, friends, kids who want to race, family, gf, her, so it is a serious sore-spot as it literally pains me not to drive it, and I'm doing the best I can.

So argument continues:
(me yelling alot)
Her: I'll do what I want with my car, so it's going to a mechanic!
Me: Fine take it, I don't care anymore
Her: Go take it to the mechanic
Me: It's your car and your doing what you want with it, so YOU can take it
Her: I don't have a ride home
Me: Well neither do I, get a ride from one of your friends for a change
Her: Yeah but you can walk (mechanic lives a few miles away, she has arthritis)
Me: Go to hell (commencement of a bottle of 151)

Hey guys havn't talked to you all in a long time i just got out of the hospital monday. My left lung collapsed on me last saturday. A week in the hopsital 3 chest tubes,one operation, and big ass scar on my back later i'm home :D. My left lung had two holes in it *the doctors said just where i'm tall and skinny* so i word of advice to you who are tall and skinny if have pro-longed shoulder pain get it checked out mine went on for 2 monthes b4 my g/f talked me into going to the docotor. Of course they are like if you came in sooner we could have prevented this yata yata. But i'm back home and looking for another car my mx3 has broke 5 water pump/alternator belts in alittle over a month. No bent pullys,alternator running fine, no loose bolts begging to scratch my head. Thinking a base model 3kgt my not be the fastest but they are still damn pretty.

So random story of the week:

Me and 3 friends are up in my room drinking, having a good time. When I hear a bang outside. I look out the window and see flames in my neighbor's driveway and say "Hey I think my neighbor's car is on fire".
Everyone cludders around the window, we look out and sure enough there are 10ft flames coming from my neighbor's f150 at 1AM. I call 9-11 and 10 police cars a fire truck and ambulance arrive in minutes. Everyone is ok, but we watched this truck just burn for 5 or so minutes....almost lit the garage on fire. No word yet on how it started...my friend's suggested arson. Just crazy stuff.
