h22

ya hi. im thinking of putting a h22 into my 1995 accord. since my car is stick and h22 and f22 tranny uses the same clutch and shit. would be good you just keep my tranny and just purchase the engine along with tthe ecu...? Will there be a difference in hp and/or shifting...?
thanks

Thumbs up

accord tranny got a really crappy gear ratio... better off gettin a lude tranny. although..its whatever you want ultimately.

I would wonder if the F22 tranny could even handle the hp and torque that the H22 produces.. When I did my swap we used the H22 tranny, and then I upgraded to a Clutchmasters Stage 1 clutch and flywheel. I love it..

besides the motor and its components, you can, if you wanted to, use your stock accord tranny, axles, and other stuff like that except for the ecu, but, like it was said, the accord tranny has bad ratios, unless you like them, but you'd be better off in thel ong run to swap out what you can.
