also seems fairly legit....sorta cunfused about there shipping and have yet to call.

well one thing I would be more concerned with is quality than price, the company I deal with has some higher prices but has a warrenty on the motor for 6 months. Also they do compression tests and so forth so you know the motor you want is in tip top shape.

I just recently noticed a company called 'jspecauto' holds an occasional e-bay auction for the h22a motors that they have over stocked? I didn't catch how cheap they went. I'd guess around 1000 - 1500. You might keep an eye out if you aren't able to afford the swap for a while. They offer what seems to be a stock compensation method. 6months warrenty, obd1 or obd2 ecu, cut wire harness, and most of the fixin's. Although I've only looked into this for a week or two. JDM1 seems to have a better deal for a little more. They offer free brand new drive shafts.

Do NOT buy anything from JDM1. These people are unscrupulous and do not follow up on their promises! It has been 11 months since I ordered a B18C swap from Shaan and I still have not received all the parts supposedly included with the swap. In addition, I ordered an OBD1 swap and received an OBDII. Then they expected me to pay to ship all the incorrect stuff back before they would ship replacements. They cost me an additional $2000 in parts for the defective or missing parts.
Do Not believe what Shaan tells you, He Lies! He even sent me a phony tracking number just to get me to leave him alone. I have personally filed complaints with local and Canadian BBB against JDM1.


The difficulty with purchasing from a business so far away, especially in another country, is that, although they may have committed fraud and stolen your money, the expense to prosecute is phenomenal! The people who do business this way, i.e. rip you off, know this and know that most cannot afford the cost of legal action in addition to the money they lost.

The only way we can stop these thieves is not to buy from them and tell others the same.
I apologize for the long post, but it's important that we, as customers, and honest sellers, do not buy from dishonest businesses.

well, motor should be here in about 2-3 more weeks. ill let everyone know how things go. let me add its been about 3 months since i orderd it. but if it comes out runnin like a champ and clean and no broken or missing parts all over ...then it was a good purchase..cause in the meantime it gave me time to completely redo my car. youll see in nov sometime. ill have pics for everyone.
