Can someone tell me the specs to this car

2002 pontiac grand am gt Ram Air v8 (what does ram air mean lol im a newb)

also it says Air P. Win/Lks, im guessing it means air pressure windows and locks but can someone confirm?

Ok, Are you asking about a GRAND am or TRANS am, because to my knowledge, pontiac didnt make a V8 Grand Am. The Trans Am is a 5.7litre V8 with either 325 or 345 horsepower(cant remember which) and comes with either 4-spd auto or 6-spd manual. Ram air is kinda coined by pontiac (I think) on the Trans Ams its those to vents on the front of the vehicle that have a baffle that leads off into an airbox where you can put a performance air filter to boost horse power. On the Grand Ams it's the two openings right below the hood line on the front that lead to the air filter.

but i decided to get the 2000 grand am gt coupe.. i read somewhere that all grand am gts come standard with a cdplayer.. is this true?

first, please show me the site where you found a 2002 that was a V8, and second, yes they usually do come stock with a cd player.

wasnt a site, i was at a dealer and i was gunna get a 2002 grand am gt v8

but i settled for 2000 gm gt 3.4 v6

Dude, I work at a pontiac dealership and Im telling you, there is no Grand Am GT V8. I dont know what you saw, but it wasnt a grand am. Grand Ams went to V6 models in 92 and havent looked back.

wait a second here. TegMan95, I think you are confused. Grand Am GT Does not come with a V8. If so it would be RWD and no Grand Am has ever been RWD that I'm aware of.

If there was a Grand Am GT with a V8, I see it hard to believe you didn't buy it, but you went and got the 2000 GT with the 3.4. This kind of tells me that you may mean Trans Am. I know alot about Pontiac and if there was a Grand Am equiped with a V8, I would know. TegMan95, sorry, but you are going to need more to back up your V-8 Grand Am for us to believe you. I need proof.

All Ram Air Grand Am's had the 3.4 same with the V-6 HO. 99-03 all GT's had the 3.4 ram air or 3.4 HO. The SE models had the 3.4(stock) or the 2.4

There is no V8 Grand Am, maybe he is mistaken the new GTO as a Grand Am. Also all Grand Am GT's are automatics the only stick Grand Am is a 4 banger.

there was a v8 grand am......back in the 70s.
and on a side note, just because a car has a v8, doesn't mean it has to be RWD, look at most Cadillacs.

We are not talking about a Grand Am from the 70's, its about "2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT Specs".

Heres another side note, a Caddy has a V8 because of its weight and its a luxury car not a sporty car. There not worried about its handling and such.

Newer Grand Ams only come in a 4 banger & V6. the newer Grand Am GT's are all 4 speed automatics only manuals are non GT 4 bangers.

Now why don't they give an option for a stick in the GT? Dosen't it give you quicker performance? That is if you can hook it up without pealing out to much.
If I had the money, I'd like the new Porche eater. (Subaru WRX STi) STi=3.9sec 0-60, Porche 4.3sec. Don't remember the 1/4 mile, but I read it was quicker there too.

I beleive if it has a V8, it's definately modified to be that way. Not stock.
