2002 Pontiac Grand Am electrical problem?

Hi, new to the forums, looked like a good resource. Did a quick search and didn't find any threads close to something like this...

I have a 2002 pontiac grand am; last week the "service vehicle soon" light came on for a few minutes, went out and hasn't come back on since.

After that about 1 in 3 times when I start the car the dash and radio lights blink on for a second and then go dark for about 15 seconds before they come back. It also effects the air conditioning/fan. It doesn't seem to affect the engine running at all. The car otherwise runs fine.

Is this possibly a fuse? It's out of warranty and I'd hate to take it in for something that seems minor. Any thoughts on what to look at or causes?

Thanks in advance,

Todd

check the fuses & relays. thinnk they are in the driverside fuse panel. But some for the ac (a relay)might be under the hood.

Hope you find it, electrical problems can suck
