Under The Hood Color

Alright, I am soon gonna be starting working under the hood, painting different applications, like my valve cover, and my intake tube. Putting new wires on (colored) and replacing other small applications with bright and shinney new ones. So I need your opinion. Thanks

By the way, my car is red.

Did I miss something or since when did the color under the hood matter. My civic is blue cause its the factory hood ... and my old MG which needed a new hood I got one primered black, so we painted the top the same color as the car, and coated the underside with some shit so it wouldnt rust.

You can see the underside of the hood in the top part of the pic

No no no. Im not talking about the hood itself, or the engine bay. Im talking about the valve cover, wires, spark plug covers, and other caps that can be changed, what not and so on.

Thanks mighty, you beat me to it

And dont worry melt, everyone has their bad days

oh aight then ... cause I was really thinking why the hell is he repainting the underside of his hood

But anyways, while im not a fan of doing that dress up shit (hell I dont even wash my engine), I voted red cause it matches your car.

And yea, im kinda full of it today, I cant quite figure out what my story is.

I voted Other because i say a BLACK engine bay on a Red car looks sweet!!! and get everything either chrome or color matched and it would look sweet!

my car right now is that burgandy redish sparkly color, but i'm going to be painting on a custom red when i got my body kit on. And i think that Red and Chrome would look best in the engine. Thats what im doing anyways. Red/black wires , Chrome stuff.. even metallic red accesories. Thats what im doing after exterior is perdy much done. But just go with you instinct. You dont want to be opening your hood up everyday to somin you dont like. Know what i mean ?

If I were you, the only thing I would do, is clean it up. Ya know, make it look like a new cars engine bay. Who are you going to impress with all those pretty colors under your hood? Toddlers? They are the only people that are "really" into colors. This is just my opinion.
