Depending on driving, high 14's is the average. With pretty basic mods, it is more around high 13's.

if you want to go by the magazines and what the "rumor mill" says...

15.5 for a gsx
15.1 for a gst b/c of the weight difference...

obviously you can run one faster, like spectrum said, but the difference in speed is still there due to the weights of the two car.

I hate this tool, every 5 seconds he's posting some BS "What will...What if..How come..." question. If you took the time to search your self, you'll see 8 BAZILLION people have asked questions similar to these. Ironically enough, you're a student, HELLO RESEARCH!!!!

BTW for those who ARE going to read this, 15.1-15.2 is AVERAGE for both a GS-T GSX.

i was just going by what i've "heard/read" from other posts...
the consensus that i've read is that the gsx is mildly slower b/c of more weight...

i didn't say it was gospel, just trying to get some groundwork laid down...

stoplight to stoplight and in the 1/4 the GSX will asswhip a GS-T.....i have seen people in bone stock GSX's put down consistent 14.8 1/4 times...when the GS-T will average 15.2-3...in the 1/4 the issue isn't weight its traction....try laying down a 1.8 60' time in a GS-T.....even with slick and limited slip the best i have seen is 2.15...a very good friend of mine had a 95 talon AWD...with just an intake, BOV and weld on muffler put down a 14.2 1/4......and when you start talking about a modded GS-T forget it....they have shit for traction....FWD is a real killer on them...

It's only research if you don't ask the same redundant questions daily. Check his profile & stuff, he tools around every forum, ask rediculous questions that can better be found out by just clicking the infamous search button. Also previously he was talking trash about a GSX that runs 11's, smokes fast cars daily & is untouchable. Now he changes his name & just starts the same senseless BS as before. That's why I answered the question.
