People Change...

Just wanted to vent a little here. I dont know about about some ppl, but I sometimes wonder about my friends. I have a pretty small circle of friends to start with (I like it this way), but they are usuially strong friendships. Having known someone for years, and knowing them pretty well, and then having them do something completly stupid, not like themselves at all.

Like my best friend. Until recently we were best of friends. We have been hanging out constantly for about 7yrs. He has always been similar to me, quiet but not afraid to voice his opinion, shared similar intrests, polite, etc. Just a good person in general. Unfortionatly, now he has become arrogant and cocky. He feels good when putting others down. And now he LOVES to show off. Take today for example.

I left his place today, since he and his g/f were going out to a movie, and I was going somewhere else completely . Instead of going on his way, he followed me WAY out of his way, trying to race me (since I left earlier than he did, it took him a bit to catch up). Anyways, he followed me until I eventually just pulled over. He then rolls down his window and says "man your car is slow, that must suck". Both him and his g/f were laughing. Im not really sure why, since I wasnt driving fast, and its not hard for any car to catch up to a tired econo box. (BTW He drives an older VW Diesel Turbo)

He also trys to put me down because im single (is this a crime these days? )

I guess im not really ranting, just a bit sad that I have lost a good friend to change. Damn

I know how you feel man, happened to me too. I was good friends with a guy and he decided I wasnt "cool" enough to hang out with him so he started to ignore me and insult everything about me. But, I look at it as his loss, because he lost me as a good friend (is that conceited?) and he may potentially ruin relationships in the future with his arrogance and selfishness. And dont worry about being single, it happens to the best of us.

that happened to me but the fuck came back and apologized 5 months later.............and he said he wanted to hang out wit me again and i told him to go fuck himself..............

not exactly the right thing to do but oh well

dude wtf that is me... Me n this guy have bin rilli tite for ever and now hes just actin like a dick, telling other people shit that r lies about me and then i tell him that i know whats going on and hes like oh nothing happened. And other times ill just catch em and hell be like im so srre pls dont throw our relationship away(sounds like a women) and so hes done that about 10 times, and im sick of it but now everyone is doing this to me and its pissing me off. I have no other friends that i can hang wit(not cuz i dont have any just cuz i have alot of diff kind of friends but none that are like me and ones id like to hang out with) so i dont know what todo.. and this has bin going on since like grd 4

Anyways,people change,especially when they get into relationships.Some guys can't seem to understand that their lady would be more impressed if put more effort into how thay treat her than they put into trying to prove how wonderful and witty they are.

Put simply,you don't need to run down your friends to impress your lady....focus your attention on what she wants,and she won't even notice your friends.


And if you have the kind of friends who don't understand his,feel sorry for them.They're probably missing out at both ends of the deal.
