Try pink or lamborghini orange, maybe it's look like a 10 second supra

NO seriously, I've always taught silver supras look good, red is the "sportscar" color and has been used too many times for ferraris, corvettes, and other sportscars, try something different, what about blue?

If I remember correctly, I sprayed plastikote dark blue metallic first with a couple light coats, and while that was still tacky, followed it up with 3 or 4 coats of Testors Dark Blue. I used the plasti-kote first because it covers much better. It seem panel lines always show through when you just use testors enamels.
Anyway, I followed that all up with about 4 coats of testors high gloss clearcoat, and that was it. No sanding or polishing.
