gts ?'s

okay im thinking about buying this old gts i found. not sure on the year model yet, gonna go check it out more completely tomorrow, but its the ae86 style. so heres my questions.

1. the later versions of the 4age had a higher compression right? so can i swap the rotating assembly from one of those directly into the earlier 4age for higher compression?

2. i want fuel injection. is it possible to get the top end and ecu from a newer model and convert it into FI?

thanks in advance...

blocks are compatible. heads aren't unless you have an adapter that'll take the intake assembly and face it the correct way.

no 4AGs run carbs from the factory, they are all FI. i am not exactly sure what you were trying ot get at for quesiton number 2.

it's real easy

if you see TVIS, it's not a small port.

all 4AGs running TVIS are big port 4AGs. BUT the zenki AE92s have big ports AND 7 rib blocks.

ALL AE86es have big ports with 3 rib blocks.
