HELP! my car will only start once in a while
i am having trouble starting my car. it cranks good just won't start. when it does start (like every 10th try) it starts right up and drives and runs great. any suggestions? thanks!

I'm no expert, but I'm thinking that your problem is the fuel filter. Sounds to me like not a lot of fuel is getting thru thats y it takes like like 10 cranks. But then again, I'm kinda slow, but I'm learning.

well actually i can crank it forever, stop and crank it again and she fires right up. i will try the fuel filter tomorrow though.

Well, if its not ur filter, I'm like 90% sure its a fuel problem, but its not the main relay, doesnt sound like the injector either. So basically I'm no help at all, sry.

thanks, i am going to the local import shop to get a filter at lunch and hopefully that will be it. you said it would not be the relay? cause that was my next thing to try after the filter. thanks again!

Yeah I dont think its ur main relay, cause i just had that problem like a week ago. If it was ur main relay u wouldnt be able to start it at all, at least not when its hot out. I sat outside and cranked it for like 5 min, and got nowhere, but then i tried it at like 9 at night, when it was cooler out, and it started right up. Anyways, thats how I know thats not it, lemme know if u figure anything out, good luck :frog:
