Unhappy 1994 rodeo only starts once every 40-50 tries...

I have a 1994 rodeo that has had some problems. We just got a new clutch and front cv axles, and then one day it just stopped running. It would start but only stay running for a few seconds. Then it quit starting at all. We took it to a shop and they said that the ignition module and crank sensor needed replaced, so that got fixed, but it still would not stay running. He checked the wires and found that there were some that were burnt and it ruined the new ignition module. So he replaced the wires and put in a 2nd ignition module and now the car only starts about once every 40-50 tries. He put it back on the computer for a diagnosis and it doesn't say that there is anything wrong. If you have any suggestions, please help!!! We are really struggling here, this is our only vehicle and we have put all of our money into it.

What happens when you try to start it? Does it crank? If you jiggle some of the wires in the engine bay as you try to start it, you may get it to fire if it is a problem in the wiring harness.
