Angry New Speakers! But have problem

I just got some 6x9 Rockford rear speakers to replace my stock ones. But the thing is that the screw holes are lining up how can i fix that?

I have a 1992 Honda Accord EX

Please Help Me!!!!!ASAP

If you have the same design as my car the stock rear speaker are 6''1/2 round. If u wanna get 6x9, u'll have to cut the metal. But if it ain't those speakers, I'm sorry not to be able to help u.

yeah, try a metal drill bit, place the speakers where you want them mark it then drill away to get it to work.

the ex comes with a 6x9 hole already for the stock speakers. the best idea is to find which way the speaker lines up with as many holes as possible, then if it doesnt feel secure enough for you, drill some new holes and screw it in.

I know for sure! That they are 6x9s, my friend said something about siliconing them?
