sometimes there are already pre-drilled hole in the firewall with plugs that close them up. take it out and presto you now have a hole

The largest pre-existing hole in the firewall is for the steering column.
Just poke a hole through the rubber gasket surrounding that, that's the easiest solution. The line for my oil pressure guage, and the cables for my aftermarket alarm system both go through there. |

i have the same model and year so......
go on the passenger side and pull down the carpeting up under neath the dash. about 5 inches down there should be an existing hole that is about 1 inch wide and is the best possible place for the wires to run through. (because the battery is right there) hehe hope that helps

There is one on the driver's side, on the back wall - center left - ot my knowledge. You can poke or drill a hole through the existing gasket and thread your wires through it. Oh, and it does come out.

I ended up going right beside the air conditioner drain hose. All wired up and sounding great so I can continue causing myself to loose my hearing before 25.:ylsuper |

there is a plug on your firewall its about 2 inches wide and is black(rubber). cut a hole in it or take it out and it will come out in the top left corner of your inside by your brake.put your wire through there and u should be ready to go.:flash:

Re: Through the firewall we go???
lol use a wire hanger hahahahhaha. Take it apart and make it into 1 long metal pieace. Then get it through your firewall. Then tie a wire to it and make a little hook. Then pull it up through!

Someone dug back far to post in this thread.

Well at least that person who posted 6 years ago, if he still comes here and still happens to own the same car and after 6 years can't get it set up right, now he's got an answer
