Wiring through the firewall?
I have a some underbody's and some LED's and some of the Cobra eyes, and i can not find any holes through the firewall to connect them to a switch that i have connected to my interior neons... i admit, i really havent looked all that well, but i figured you guys would have a good idea about where the easiest place to put the wire through... i have them all spliced together so that I only need one 12 gauge wire coming through the firewall. I havent hooked everything up yet, so i dont really have wires hanging there, but once i get this info on the easiest place to go through, i will be on my way and get it done! Thanks!!

Re: Wiring through the firewall?
I'd say find a convient spot, make sure you have clearance on both sides...and drill it.

I am currently trying to find a good location to run 2 4ga. wires through the firewall. So far I have removed the lower dash and most of the upper dash but had to stop because the passenger side airbag connector seemed stuck and wouldn't disconnect). Unfortunately I still havent been able to find a gromment large enough for and decent size wires to squeeze through. I am hesitant to drill because I dont know how to tell where a good spot would be. Anyone have a suggestion??
It seems like the only grommet I can access is just right of the center of the engine compartment (looks like ECU wiring?). The grommet location is about 8 inches down the irewall so I can't get a good look at it. I'm getting rustrated and feel like ripping/carefully cutting it off to get a better look. Has anyone drilled a hole? WHERE?? I can run the wires either down the left or right side of the car (currently run under the passenger side)

ok, figured it out...
1. remove driver's kick panel 2. run wires up to grommet on driver side front quarter pane. 3. jack up car 4. remove driver side front tire. 5. remove wheel well cover 6. you can see the grommet once the cover is removed. 7. run the wires over the top of the wheel well (following stock wires and zip-tie them together) 8. bring the wires into the engine compartment toward the front of quarter panel. fin
