Re: Wire routing through the firewall
Even drilling its hard to find a way to get through the firewall. Its a double firewall, and with the dash installed its hard to get a drill up high enough to get over the K member. There are only two place I bother running wires through. The steering boot on the drivers side, or the engine harness boot on the passenger side. Just poke a hole in the rubber and pull the wire through with a smaller wire or a screwdriver, etc.

Re: Wire routing through the firewall
i just installed a couple of subs in my car, the best way i found was on the pasenger side of the car. theirs a prity big rubber boot their that you can use a big screw driver to punch a hole through it and then fish your wire through. take out your batery also it makes it alot easyer to reach the boot.

Yes, that is the engine harness boot.

Re: Wire routing through the firewall
I have all my wiring going through the passenger side. All wires are in a blue loom that reaches all the way to inside the compartment, that allows to add more wire later easily, without having to repoke the rubber.
