Car dies when cold
Car Died when cold
Hi, I'm having a problem with my Eclipse gs 93, whenever I try to start the car while it is cold it just dies. But if i hold the accelerator until i get into the acceptable heat range the car runs fine. What could be the problem? I just replaced the ISC motor with another one, my old one would idle horribly, then the BISS screw was completly messed over and wasnt even there, instead there was a peice of wood stuck all the way down into the BISS place, I cleaned that out and replaced it with a new BISS screw from mitsu, now the car dies when it isnt warm, is the problem the throttle body? Is it a faulty ISC motor? PLease help!!! Thanks alot, Ken

Re: Car dies when cold
did you make sure to unplug the ecu when you adjusted it, per the info on the VFAQ?
